This is a fun, heartfelt holiday romance from the queen of small town novels. A good book to read during the holidays or really anytime at all.

Thank you Debbie Macomber for creating a wonderful holiday theme story. The main character, Everly Lancaster goes on vacation where she discovers the meaning of family, love and happiness. Happy Reading!

I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

This was a really sweet and fun light read; I really related to Everly being overworked and needing a vacation, although her lack of gumption with standing up to her business partner drove me nuts. No way she could have been this successful in business in spite of that! But if I ignored her making some silly / dumb decisions (as pretty much every heroine in a rom com novel does), I enjoyed it :)

I loved the characters and the storyline development of this book. It was absolutely one of my favorites so far and I can't wait to delve in to the next one that this author writes. The storyline was simple, enjoyable, and entertaining.

Debbie Macomber's Christmas novels are legendary for their feel-good fun factor. Jingle All the Way continues the legend with Everly Lancaster and Asher Adams.

Stuck in the middle of her family, Everly did everything she could to stand out. She got the highest grades, was a standout pianist, but still felt overlooked. Her two older sisters had each other, and her twin younger brothers also were a team of two, leaving Everly looking on from the sidelines. She hated her given name, Daisy, so much that she legally changed it to Everly when she went into business. After all, what businessman could ever take a woman named Daisy seriously. She felt so cut off from her family that she skipped Christmas with them last year. After all, since she never really felt included they really wouldn't miss her, would they?

A workaholic, everything hits the fan when she fires her inept assistant - the assistant her partner forced on her because she is his niece. Instead of backing her up, her partner forces her to take her first vacation in 6 years. Asking his niece to book Everly on a luxury two-week cruise, she instead books her on a two-week cruise on the Amazon - no luxuries, no internet, and no contact with the outside world. Everly is sure she will die without being able to keep in touch with her office. Instead, she is transformed and falls in love.

Asher Adams has been the naturalist for the Amazon tours for a couple of years, and before that he led their tours in Antarctica. Usually the tourists are retirees, or married couples, so when the beautiful Daisy appears on the boat completely unprepared - the wrong clothing, no bug spray - he can't help but take notice. When a mosquito bite takes her down and confines her to her "stateroom", Asher takes her care on himself. As he gets to know her, he finds there is more to her than her beauty and hardnosed exterior.

Can two people completely change their lives in only two weeks?

This story had me alternating between snickers at Everly's misadventures, and relief that she came through reasonably unscathed. I wanted to smack her business partner when he took his niece's side at the start, and laughed when Everly returned to find the girl gone because she had messed up under her uncle's watch, too. I loved how she began to see that her family really cares, and that her family began to see that maybe their treatment of her needed to change, too.

Romance readers who love a little humor with their Christmas stories will love this book. It was a sweet treat in the middle of my week!

I usually love Debbie Macomber's Christmas books but this one way just an okay for me. When a stressed out real estate broker is forced to take the month of December on vacation she thinks the company will fail without her. She has an assistant that is either stupid or demonic, not sure which, that books her on an Amazon river cruise instead of Hawaii. Everly meets a guide that knocks her socks off but lets her know he's not moving back to civilization. After the cruise she heads to her family home to repair the damage of being away for so long. Christmas miracle take place and soon everyone is happy. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Everly Lancaster is a top real estate executive at a company for which she is a co-founder. Forced by her partner to take a vacation, will a trip down the Amazon help Everly to realize a new list of priorities?

Jingle All the Way is basically a holiday romance in name only, as it takes place during Christmastime. Everly is a driven, determined woman, waylaid by her partner to accept a sub-par assistant and then cajoled into taking a vacation. There are big holes in the plot, as the educational journey down the Amazon surely would have included some disclaimers and information for Everly's eyes only. The fact that she was completely caught unaware, despite how focused and driven Everly is in all aspects of her life, was unrealistic. Not to mention, but considering the poor relationship with the assistant, you would assume that Everly would perhaps take a peek at the itinerary before embarking? The fairy tale romance that ensues is not without its issues, as the author glosses over certain aspects like the location of the family farm and how a certain someone would even know how to find it. Jingle All the Way is a quick read, but not one that I would necessarily recommend to all readers.

A wonderful story of finding yourself. The book discusses a workaholic, she gives up family time for work "emergencies". A partner in a firm Everly "Daisy" and Jack are partners but Daisy ends up doing most the work and so Jack ends up giving Daisy a month off in December including a cruise. The assistant books everything with a sly smile. As Daisy arrives the cruise is not what she thinks but she ends up rolling with the punches and has a fabulous time. As she arrives Daisy finds her voice and her decisions lead to a more satisfying life with her family and with herself as well as proving her worth to her partner.

Thank you to the author Debbie Macomber, Netgalley and the Publisher Random House for the ARC in return for an honest review.

It's so easy to read Debbie Macomber, she never disappoints. The problem then becomes writing a review that isn't gushing, and maybe a bit over the top, but I'll try. In Jingle All the Way, we meet Everly, who, through a series of unfortunate, or maybe not (wink, wink) events, finds herself on an adventure cruise down the Amazon. Our heroine is nothing if not plucky, so decides to make the best of an uncomfortable situation, finding out a bit more about herself in the bargain. We get to watch her stumble and grow, and eventually take control of her life. The writing is descriptive, the characters mostly believable (I wish I knew more real life people like this) and loveable. The plot, while maybe a bit far-fetched, works wonderfully. As with all of Mrs. Macomber's works, this one is heartfelt, funny, and full of redemption. I wholeheartedly recommend this and ALL of her works to everyone.

Jingle All the Way by Debbie Macomber is a fantastic holiday story. I love Ms Macomber's holiday stories and have read most of them. I think this one is a little different. It is definitely a holiday story since the ending takes place then, but I do not think that it necessarily has to be. The story itself is not very holiday oriented, making it great to read anytime at all. This is one of my favorite books by this author. I absolutely adored the characters and the unique situation they found themselves in. Loved this book! I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.

I am a big fan of Debbie Macomber, and “Jingle all the Way”, did not disappoint. I was expecting a typical Christmas story, however this light and funny romance story took us from Chicago to the Amazon jungle and back. Once again thank you Debbie Macomber for a quite enjoyable read.

Jingle All The Way by Debbie Macomber

Trapped in the middle of five siblings, Everly always had big dreams. So stressed from work, her boss insists she takes the month of December off.

This was a warm, cozy romance novel. Debbie Macomber always does a good job. Aside from the great romance story, I enjoyed learning about the Amazon and its environment. I recommmendv this book.

Jingle All the Way is not the usual Christmas romance. Even though I was thrown off guard that the beginning was about a dispute between a business owner and her employee, I found the situation entertaining and fun. To be honest, a lot of Christmas romances are pretty similar, and I frankly enjoy them all! Debbie Macomber takes her readers on a ride in every story and this one just happens to be literal since the characters are on a jungle cruise. The setting wasn't my favorite but the sweet story of Everly and Asher falling in love kept my attention. Later in the book, the pay off was Everly going home to a more traditional Christmas setting, written in a wonderful way that I've come to happily anticipate from a Debbie Macomber story.
For readers who are open to fresh ideas in a Christmas novel, this one's for you. Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my honest review.

I always enjoy Debbie Macomber's Christmas stories, even though they tend to be cheesy, and this one was no exception!

Everly is overworked and overstressed. When her colleague insists she take the month of December off, she does so begrudgingly, and finds herself on a cruise through the Amazon Rainforest. She ends up learning a lot about herself and her priorities, and also meets a guy who shows her that work isn't everything.

I liked this one! It was a unique setting because I love to go on cruises, but I've never been on an educational one like this... you can consider it added to my bucket list now, though! I also just enjoyed the life lessons learned at Christmas time. Everly learns that busy isn't always best, and begins to place priority on the people and relationships in her life instead of her career and success. It's a balancing act that's difficult, so I could empathize.

While it wasn't the most "Christmas-y" of books, it was a fun read with a little festive spirit. I enjoyed seeing Everly go home to her family, and bond with them while seeing them in a new light.

I always look forward to Macomber's Christmas books, and can't wait to read her 2021 offering.

The perfect read to come into the holiday season! Debbie Macomber is a favorite of mine because she always delivers an intriguing plot line and loveable characters.

I have always been a Debbie Macomber fan and loyally read one of her Christmas installments year after year. With the opportunity from Netgalley, Random House Publishing Group and Ballantine sending me an Advanced Reader’s Copy, I jumped at the chance to read her newest. That’s where the joy ended.

Where all her previous novels were set inside of Christmas, this book was only written in the month of December; that’s as far as it got. 3/4 of the novel takes place on the Amazon River and while you get the romance part, you don’t get the holiday portion (sorry playing carols during appetizers doesn’t cut it). She eventually moves the story along closer to Christmas but it doesn’t have all the feels you want to get you in the holiday mood. It turned out to be a generic romance that doesn’t offer much in return. Skip this one and pick up a different Macomber Christmas gem.
