This book is an important account of events outlined by John Bolton that provide a better understanding of world events. It's notable, not just for the sensational politics of the time, but also the frame it gives for looking at how history is being shaped now. I appreciated his details - times, dates, places, and in some cases, witnesses. It sheds light not only on what he saw and experienced, but gives information on others who were also there. The book doesn't lag, and I found it well-edited. The voice talent did a great job, and the end read by Bolton himself was fitting.
