This book was so amazing that I read it in one day! This is the first book in the Follow Me trilogy by Helen Hardt and I can’t wait for the second book, Follow Me Under. I enjoyed reading Skye and Braden’s story and it’s undeniable how intense their chemistry. Thank you to NetGalley for the advanced reader copy and all views expressed are my honest opinion.

This is book one in this new series and it’s off to a great start!
Scorching hot, this book had some nice twisty dark elements that had me intrigued.

Braden is a mysterious self made billionaire, full of secrets. Skye is the assistant to a social media influencer. When Braden leaves some comments on a Instagram account she manages, they agree to meet. To say that sparks flew is an understatement. What happens you need to read and find out, and believe me I was glued to my reading device.

The story flowed well and while overall well written, I wish there was more character development. Braden was just a little bit too mysterious which had me thinking... hmmm.
However, the book ends in a cliffhanger and I need to find out what happens next

This is a well written book, flows smoothly from start to finish - detailing an erotic, sensual story, that left me disappointed. I could not get invested in the characters specifically Skye – she seemed too young and immature for the games they were playing. Braden Black is a sexy, dominant, self-made millionaire who initially came off as an a$$hole, but did have a caring side under that hard veneer! I wasn’t convinced that there was anything more than pure physical lust in their relationship - there were too many unanswered questions, which made it hard for me to believe that Skye would give up her hard fought control so easily. However, Hardt writes well, she is descriptive and adds a touch of intrigue to keep the reader hooked until you get more Skye and Braden in the next book. If you’re a Hardt fan, I’m sure this will be a book you will enjoy. If she is a new author to you and you like erotic stories then this may be the book for you. This started slow, but once it picked up I enjoyed more. Although the characters were indifferent to me in the beginning, they grew on me. I liked Skye gaining confidence and go after what she wanted. I was more intrigued by Braden Black. He was a mystery. There wasn't much about his backstory. One thing I would like to know is the history between Braden Black and Addison. Why the animosity? We see a sweet and likable side of Braden. Also, I liked that he didn't come across too pushy. Liked how he eased Skye into his dark desires.

Follow Me Darkly is written well, and it's sensually good. I'm a bit curious to where the story leads next to. It does end in a semi-cliffhanger.

This book is such a good erotica. Very well done just like all the other books by helen Hart.
If you are into this genre then I think you will enjoy this one.

I really, really wanted to like this book and I feel so bad because I just can’t...

When i started this book was because I thought is a standalone, and discovering at the end that there’s two more books was so disappointed, this last was just adding to me not liking the story as much as I was hoping.

Braden Black been so mysterious was something that keep me reading, just because I want to know what he’s hiding, but as I read more chapters my excitement decreases. He doesn’t do relationship, he loves control and that’s probably my biggest problem with him, and with Skye.
I thought she was a person who likes to be in control but she gives all to Braden so fast that I just can’t enjoy the rest of the book. I was hopping more from her and unfortunately for me that never happens.
Well overall I can’t say that the book was bad, for me is an ok story, maybe if I have the knowledge that this supposed to be a trilogy I could go with a different perspective and putting in my mind that this would end with a cliffhanger and get ready for the next installment.

As I always say, read the book that caught your attention and form your own opinion, I been trying to do that more often lately :)

First off, that cover 😍I instantly fell in love with it. Follow Me Darkly is the story between control freak Skye and billionaire Braden. I don’t know why, because he could be a bit of a dick, I freaking loved him and I couldn’t wait for Skye to surrender her control to. This book gave me Fifty Shades vibes but darker, although I couldn’t help but compare the 2. Follow Me Darkly is dark,sexy and addicting and I can’t wait for Follow Me Under.

I think Follow Me Darkly is easily my favorite Helen Hardt book to date. It's a blue collar billionaire romance that starts out with a bit of instalust, and then slowly builds in to a mystery that draws the reader in.
Skye Manning has the ultimate job, or one would think. Photographer for one of the world's most famous influencers and heiress's, Addison Ames. Skye's relationship with Addison is kind of a contentious one. Addison is demanding, bratty, and self centered. Being a photographer, Skye is content with being in the background and creating the beautiful images that Addison shares to her followers. It helps hone her skills to hopefully fulfill her ultimate dream of becoming a photographer for a major magazine.
Braden Black is a man of few words. He knows what he wants and goes after it. A blue collar guy who built his business from the ground up, he isn't used to being told no. And when he first sees Skye at Addison's office, he set his sights on her.
Braden and Skye's chemistry is instantaneous. From the boardroom to the bedroom, Braden craves control. The problem is, so does Skye. But when she's with Braden, that control slips more and more and she finds herself at his mercy and craving things she could never admit to anyone.
I was so afraid this was going to turn in to an instalove kind of book but I am so glad my assumtions were wrong. I was kept wondering exactly what Braden Black's secrets were. Was Addison telling the truth in her version of events? Did Braden have an even darker side than he lets on?
The first part of Braden and Skye's story ends on one heck of a cliff hanger. I was hoping for some sort of clue, but nope, didn't happen. Helen left me craving for more and wracking my brain trying to find and Easter eggs she might have left in the book. Needless to say, it's going to be a long agonizing wait until the next book

I am a huge fan of Helen Hardt. This book was fantastic. Each book and series is so different from each other. This had more steamy parts than some of the rest of her work....and the steamy scenes were even steamier! This had 50 shades tones to it...but was much better written than 50 shades. The characters were likeable and made you want to get to know them more. The steamy parts were appropriately steamy--not fakey. Will definietly read the next book in the series (spoiler alert, the book leaves you wanting more of the characters and story line!)

Edgy, tantalizing, and consuming!

WOW!!! Once again Helen Hardt, the Queen of Cliffhangers, has captured my attention in this new series. I love Skye and Braden! This is a sexy, edgy, passionate read. Love the chemistry and mystery. Can't wait to find out more!

Braden was not raised in an affluent or privileged lifestyle but through hard work has achieved financial and business success beyond his wildest dreams. He is a man who guards his secrets closely and doesn’t allow many people close but there is something about Skye that has penetrated the walls he has built around himself.

Until Skye reaches her dreams of being a professional photographer, she finds herself working for an entitled boss who is a social media maven. When Braden comes into her office looking for a confrontation the sparks fly.

The chemistry between them radiates off the pages but Braden is a man who not only craves mastery, but he demands it as well. Skye is independent and strong so while the though is titillating it is also and adjustment. There is so much we still need to discover about the mysterious Braden and his past which leaves us needing more of this captivating couple.

This has a very “Fifty Shades” vibe to it. Skye works for Addison, a heiress who’s an instagram influencer. She meets Braden at work. He’s attracted to her and on their first “date”, he tells her outright he wants to sleep with her. She’s all about control, but the author never really goes into why. They begin a sexual relationship as he says he can’t have a real relationship. He’s of course into bondage/dominance. There’s a lot of sexy scenes in it, and Skye is obsessed with figuring out the deal with Braden and Addison, but it winds up not being such a big thing in my mind.
This book ends in a cliffhanger like most of Helen Hardt’s books do. Not sure if I’ll read the next book, depends on if this is a duet, or if it’ll drag on for multiple books. I received an arc from Netgalley for my honest review.

It was a good read. Helen never ceases to impress. She is a one-click author for me and as soon as I saw the new series I knew I had to read it... And as always I wasn't let down...
I just love all of the books I've read by Helen...

This book was no different, can't wait to see how the story pans out in the next book... I am eagerly waiting for it...

If you are looking for a story that will set your kindle on fire look no further because FOLLOW ME DARKLY was SCORCHING! This is a Contemporary Romance that has a Dark feel to it, I loved it so much I devoured it in one day.

Braden and Skye have a connection that was instantaneous and nothing was going to get in the way of them being together, not even the fact that they both craved control. Skye Manning is from a small town in Kansas and is now working in Boston for a Social Media Influencer as her personal photographer, it's not her dream job but it helps pay the bills until that day comes. Braden Black is a self-made billionaire that has a craving for control both in and out of the bedroom.

There was a lot going on in this book but you know I won't spoil anything for you so I will keep this review short and sweet. I loved this book and I cannot wait for the next in the trilogy, FOLLOW ME UNDER, to be released in January. This has a Fifty Shades of Grey feel to it but it's different as well, I will not compare the two because that's not fair to anyone but I will say that if this trilogy continues on the path set forth in this first book I would love to see it be made into a movie one day. Hey PASSIONFLIX, you need to put this on your list of must do's!

To say I devoured this read is a total understatement. Oh to have a run in with someone like billionaire Braden Black. Holy smokes!! Skye crosses paths with him and these two encounter such intense chemistry. The story, the passion, the heat!!! Oh my!! I will say, the cliffy at the end has me counting down for book 2!!

Braden and Skye will leave you yearning for more. The battle between these two for control was so powerful and as always Helen Hardt brought the passion to another level.

There were moments that made me go hmmmm but hey that's what so intriguing about this story. I recommend giving this a read.

The intensity of this book was on an all time high!!! Oh my goodness, I have not read a good story like Follow Me Darkly in such a long long time. I can't remember when I last read a book about letting go of control behind closed doors. Wow! I loved it all and then some.

Sadly Braden is still a mystery to me. I could not read that man and Skye.... well I am not sure she has either. Skye also has me a bit perplexed. I liked her character, but I am afraid the fame may get a little over her head. But I have faith. This is why I can't stop talking about this book! Because its not all insta-love for me with these characters. It has me walking into this story with with caution. I am trying to protect my heart with this one lol.

Follow Me Darkly is what you will be craving and have you begging for more when you reach the end of this story! I need Follow Me Under ASAP!!!! #CantGetEnough #MyGoTo #WeekendRead #GetLostInABook
