Another novel makes it entrance in the "An Amish Marketplace" by Amy Clipson. The reader will not be disappointed and this one adds to the love of this series, for me. This series has revolved around cousins, Bethany, Chistiana and Salina....their loves, triumphs and tragedies. In this book, we will follow Bethany and her desire to help a wayward and depressed friend, Micah.
Micah has lost much in his life and is at the point where he feels that the losses far outway any blessings. He also is on the verge of totally losing his faith in God. He lost his fiance, grandmother, grandfather and he never really had a nurturing relationship with his father....it becomes too much to bear, and Micah looks for a way to ease the pain. Unfortunately, he thinks the bottom of a bottle with be his answer.
Bethany and her family, try so hard to help Micah, but it doesn't seem to be working. Throughout this journey, Bethany starts to come to the realization that her feelings go beyond being just a friend to Micah. Where will this go? Will the bottom fall out of Micah's despair and will Bethany be able to live with the consequences?
Sit back and grab a warm drink, light a candle and wrap up in a soft blanket and begin to follow the road that Bethany and Micah find themselves going down. You will love the twists and turn of this road and find yourself remembering your own ways of coping with loss.

I needed a book like this. It could not have come at a better time. The story was so heartwarming and comforting that my hands were glued to the book and I did not want to stop. I love how relationships develop by frequent customers at a business. We have frequent patrons at our library and anytime they are not here we at least wonder and sometimes tragedy does happen. Just like Bethany and Micah when the shop got burned down and all Micah needed was a friend and Bethany was more than happy to be there for him potentially developing into something more. I needed a book that puts a smile on your face and I am smiling from ear to ear after finishing this book.

We will consider adding this title to our Christian Fiction collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

Amy never disappoints as an author of Amish fiction! As soon as I saw her latest book, I knew I had to read it! All of the books in the series are so sweet and are all completely different. Her character development never disappoints and you are always left wishing there was more! Definitely check this out as well as any other books that she has written. She is excellent!

Another beautiful story by Amy Clipston. I read the first two in this series. So of course I had to read the third.

Cousins Christiana, Salina, Bethany, and Leanne all run booths in the Amish Marketplace. In the first two books, Christiana and Salina meet the ones they are meant to be with. This time it's Bethany's turn.

Bethany runs the Coffee Corner. Where customers can buy different flavors of coffee and donuts. (I don't drink coffee but I am interested in how the different flavors are made.) Every week Micah arrives with his Grandfather and Bethany develops a crush. However, she believes Micah will never feel the same about her. After all, other guys in the community sees her as a perky little sister and nothing more.

Little does Bethany know, Micah is developing feeling for her. But he is dealing with heartbreak, family rejection, and a business that is not doing the best that is can.

Bethany and Micah deal with their personal insecurities in order to discover something more in their relationship.

The story is well written, descriptive, and Clipston even lets readers know what happens to characters in her other books.

This is the third time I have visited with this group of cousins, and this time it is cousin Bethany who is the focus. The others are back and we are updated on their lives and exciting events.
If you have read the previous books, Bethany has the delicious coffee, flavors that sound like scrumptious desserts.
Enter Micah and his grandfather Enos, who show up every Saturday for coffee and a donut, and it soon becomes apparent that Michal likes more than the coffee.
Problems come, and it seems that these two will never be able to make a match. Will Micah leave the community? Sad happenings, but the love in this community will warm your heart.
You don't want to miss this new installment in this delightful series!
I received this book through Net Galley and Zondervan Publishing, and was not required to give a positive review.

This book by far was my favorite in the Amish Marketplace series. I can't wait to read the fourth book, The Jam and Jelly Nook, set to release May 2021.

Bethany Gingerich owns and runs The Coffee Corner, a successful coffee and donut shop located at the local Amish market. Micah and his grandfather, Enos, visit Bethany every Saturday morning to buy coffee and donuts. Bethany enjoys the visits and soon discovers that she has a crush on Micah. She doesn't know much about him but believes that the crush won't go anywhere because every time she meets a boy, they don't think she's dating material.

Bethany and Micah eventually forge a friendship. When Micah and Enos don't show one Saturday for their usual purchases and visit, she begins to wonder what happens. Bethany soon finds out that Micah needs her now more than ever during a dark time in his life. Can Bethany help Micah realize that he's important, especially to her? Will Bethany realize that she is worthy of dating and being happy?

I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a clean read. I was able to read it fairly quickly as it was hard to put down.

The Coffee Corner is a charming story that makes you feel as if you are living alongside this Amish community. I have never read the other books in the series, but the writing keeps you up to date with the characters.
Bethany is a young Amish woman who faces what many women face - the uncertainty of her future and falling in love. As she sees her closest cousins getting married and having children, she feels behind. Soon, a handsome young man comes into her shop, but her low confidence and his past seem to get in the way. She’s a character with a lot of heart and easy to love. This book was a quick read, as I just couldn’t put it down! I’ll definitely be reading the prequels to this.

I requested and received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I have read the other book that is in this series and liked it a little better. I enjoy the Amish books set in Lancaster County since I spend a lot of time there, but this one made me so crazy with all of the angst. Bethany seemed so whiny, she was always running to her cousins to talk about Micah, but she needed to spend some of that energy talking to him.

And Simply Sara Anne...I never would’ve dreamt that there are girls like her in the Amish community!

I would’ve liked more relationship development and less emotional angst on Bethany’s end. Micah’s angst was understandable with all that he’d been through.

I loved this book. A great book to just remind you that God has a plan for us all. To pray continuously and to stay involved with your church family.

This has been such a fun series! I love that get to stay "in touch" with the cousins that were featured in the earlier books.

This book features Bethany who owns the Coffee Corner. Bethany has a great personality but can get down on herself when it comes to relationships. Micah comes in to the market with a lot of baggage. Will love percolate in the coffee corner? Read it to find out!

The Coffee Corner by Amy Clipston
What a sweet book. This is book three in The Marketplace Series but each book is able to be read as a stand-alone. Main character Bethany is a little critical of herself because she doesn’t believe she will ever find a husband or have a family. Micah is heartbroken over the loss of his fiance, so he moves to Bethany’s district to start over with his grandfather.
I really thought I knew how this one would work out and I was mostly right, but there was a twist which was a huge surprise. Most Amish books are pretty straightforward with little surprise but this was a nice change of pace. I like Amish fiction for the community, the faith and the niceness of the whole book. This one did not disappoint.
I do recommend this book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley. The views given are my own.

Clipston continues her series delving into the love lives of Amish cousins with this installment.

Bethany runs a coffee and donut shop at an Amish market (who could resist either of those things?!) She makes her own special flavors of coffee, including the very odd bananas foster coffee, that attract both Amish and Englishers alike. When Micah and his grandfather show up every Saturday for coffee and donuts, she begins a friendship with both men. Bethany feels an immediate attraction for Micah and wonders if there could be something more, especially since she's been feeling left behind by her cousins and their husbands and children. While Micah is helping his grandfather and wrestling with his own issues with his father and family, tragedy strikes, and Micah goes down a destructive and depressive path. Will his friendship with Bethany be ruined or can she help?

Both characters were very likable and sympathetic, and reading their romance was a treat. Grab a donut and coffee (just not banana foster!) and enjoy this story.

Bethany is single and owns a coffee and donut booth in the Amish Marketplace. Micah works with his grandfather Enos, making patio furniture. Micah and Enos come every Saturday to Bethany’s booth for her flavored coffee and donuts. Bethany starts to develop feelings for Micah, but her insecurities get in the way. Micah has had heartache and has issues with his dad. There are many obstacles for these two but the story tells how they overcome them. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. You will want to go back and read the cousins’ stories. I enjoyed this book. Thank you to NetGalley and Zondervan for the E-ARC. This is my own opinion.

This is an Amish Fiction, and this is the 3rd book in the Amish Marketplace series. I have read and review both Book one and Book two in this series before reading this book. I have to say I wish this book took place more in the Marketplace. I missed the marketplace setting in this book because there most only a few times in this book that took place in the marketplace. I also wanted the cousins to talk more in this book because that was some of my favorite things of the other two books. This book was good, and I really loved it. I just did not love it as much as the other two because of the two reason said earlier. I have to say that Amy Clipson writes so well and brings all her books to life with her words. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Zondervan) or author (Amy Clipston) via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review about how I feel about this book, and I want to send a big Thank you to them for that. This book is schedule to be release on December 1-2020.

*scream scream*

I am a huge fan of Amy Clipston so I jumped on a chance to read this .This book tells the story of Bethany that has a coffee booth that sells coffee and donuts. She has amazing customers including the dashing Micah who is a regular with his grandfather. Micah has been through a lot but eventually they figure out they have feelings for each other. This book is part of a series and it talks about forgiveness , redemption and how love will always find you. Thank you Zondervan for my ARC in exchange of an honest review.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Zondervan through NetGalley for an honest review. Bethany runs a coffee and donut stand in the Amish market. She is always smiling and is such an amazing woman. Micah and grandfather come in every Saturday morning for coffee and donuts. I could see how Brittany and Micah were connected but Micah was shy and not much of a talker. He was also still grieving the loss of the love of his life. Micah didn't believe he had anyone in his life but his grandfather. When his grandfather passed away, Micah really spiraled out of control and no one seemed to be able to get through o him. The author writes with such power that I felt I was right there with them. I could feel his pain, I found myself just like the community praying for Micah. I believed God was with Micah but he was just in so much pain. Brittany wouldn't give up on him and I prayed God would find the crack in Micah that would let her in. This is a wonderful story, that will tug at your heart, and has so much emotion. Amy Clipston's writing reached deep within me and brought me through all they went through and brought me out with a deeper understanding of being there for someone.

Amy Clipston is one of my favorite authors and this book did not disappoint. This is one of those books that you really hate for it to end because you feel like the characters are part of your family! I really feel like this is one of Clipston's best books!

This is the third book in the Marketplace series. Bethany Gingerich along with her cousins have booths that are set up in the marketplace. Bethany sells specialty coffees along with donuts. She tries different flavors of coffee along with different types of homemade donuts and the customers all love them. Micah Zook, along with his grandfather, are regular customers of Bethany's and through this Bethany and Micah have become more than just friends, although it takes some different things along the way to help them to realize their growing attraction is more than just a friendship. Micah has been through a lot with his former fiance passing away from cancer and then he goes through another tragedy in this story. He also has an estranged relationship with his family, in particular his father. Bethany and her family are there to help Micah work through his problems and as a result, he becomes an integral part of the Gingerich family. This is a great story about forgiveness, redemption and romance all in one story!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher, ,Zondervan for allowing me the opportunity to read an advance copy of this book. This is my honest and unbiased opinion!

The Coffee Corner by Amy Clipston is the third book of the The Amish Marketplace series about cousins that all have stalls in the Marketplace and find love. This story is Bethany's, she has a coffee and doughnut stand that is very popular because she creates such interesting and yummy sounding coffees. Every Saturday Micah and his grandfather Enos come to her coffee stand and she wishes she could spend more time with Micah. Unfortunately because she is such an outgoing person she has found most Amish men dismiss her as flighty. Micah has had a hard life and he finds it hard to trust anyone but he really likes Bethany and while a part of him wants to spend more time with her, another part of him feels fear. This was a lovely story about two people that would be great together if they can get over their insecurities and fear. I enjoyed this story and it made me want to go back and read Bethany's cousins stories.
