So, I gotta be honest, during the first 30% of the book I thought it was a little cheesy and maybe a little unbelievable - a 4 star read.

But then the story started progressing and after tragedy struck I found myself so swept up in this book, feeling all the feelings, raging and sobbing and getting my heart broken.

Daniela manages to touch a very painful subject with such respect and tenderness while keeping it real and honest, broaching not only the trauma itself but the long road to recovery and learning how to deal with it and for that she gained my utmost respect.

I dived into this book after reading the second one as a standalone and it gave more of what was missing, the characters personality and background. It was overall a great book that had me emotional for Allie. Her character goes through trauma and reading how raw it was, well written. The tension between her and Roman was instantly there.

Thanks to Netgalley for the Arc!

I thought that Wicked Devil was a fine read, I would definitely check on the TW for the book as heavy topics were discussed! However, there were many things that I felt like were missing from the book.

I really like enemies to lovers but the back and forth in this one was not my favorite it was a bunch of miscommunication.

I got this from NetGalley. This is a high school bully romance in a sense. So, this girl goes to live with her dad since her lol died. Her dad is rich while her mom wasn’t. She’s thrust into this new world but pushes for a public high school instead of a private school. She meets these boys and goes to a party. She has to navigate this high school with trying to find herself.
I loved this book and it was a page turner.

3.75/5 stars! Yummy! This was a delicious bully romance. Not for the faint of heart. The author did a good job of setting the stage, but it is a hard balance between having a tough guy MMC to 'bully' the FMC and that character being a straight-up jerk. I think this line was very fine in this book. I made allowances for Roman due to the bully romance genre that I don't think I would make in other books. For that reason this was a good, but not amazing read.

I really struggled to get through this book, I just couldn’t connect to the writing. The plot felt too rushed and I didn’t feel a connection to the characters

A very solid okay/ not bad.

My one main complaint about this book is how rushed it felt. The main characters fell in love insa-fast, the two very large conflicts that arose near the middle/end of the book were sped by without real resolution, and there was little to no groveling where there definitely should have been.

I read this book to pass time and it definitely did. The main characters were decently engaging but I could not stand how many times the "she's/I am not like other girls" trope came up. That sentence HAS to be banned in books, it's so unnecessarily degrading.

Altogether, not a bad read and I will probably pick up the next books to find out what happens to the rest of the Devils.

I really wanted to love this book, the strongest I could get was tolerating it. I found Roman to be flat in the way of personality, the football angle was decent, he’s driven for the game but that seems to be all his scenes focus on. There’s nothing deeper as to ~why he’s driven so much. There’s no backstory that makes him relatable or redeemable, he’s just an average jock, issues with two decent parents because he’s a bit self absorbed. The “not like other girls” seemed a bit overplayed with Allie. This was not really what I’d classify as a “bully romance.” Maybe a light enemies-to-lovers. I did enjoy the fact mental health and getting the help you need was part of the epilogue.
*Spoiler*
I REALLY disliked the fact Allie didn’t have any women on her side, until the middle of the book. All but one wanted to bone Roman and his crew so bad they jumped her almost made me want to quit reading. Also the fact her attacker was never brought to justice really just didn’t bring the closure I was hoping for Allie.

I've tried and tried to read and finish this book, but nothing, the story fails to capture my attention.
I am sorry

Allie has been through so much heartbreak in her life. Roman is the devil and ruler of Sun Valley High school. He is a bully to Allie and thinks he can break the already broken. The two have steamy chemistry. An interesting story that will keep you on your toes.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.

Loved this book from beginning to the end. Tough/cool kid and the girl who gets bullied learn there is more then it seems. A common theme but I tend to like them. I definitely will recommend and look forward to the next book.
I have now read both books out and am anxiously waiting for the third. Daniela has a writing stile I don't want to put down. The characters aren't always likeable but I feel that's what makes it more real. Thank you for the first book.

Wicked Devil is the first book in the Devils of Sun Valley High series. This book is told from dual points of view from Roman and Alejandra (Allie). This book is dark and has a trigger warning, so readers should be warned.

Allie just moved in with her father who she didn't know existed after her mother died. It is her senior year of high school, and she just wants to get through school to get back to her old friends and life. She starts at Sun Valley High School and on her first day she gets paired with Roman. Roman is suppose to show her around the school. He thinks she's a rich princess and wants her to know that she won't run the school. Him and his two friends are the head of the school and run everyone. The more time he spends with Allie he starts to fall for her. Allie falls for Roman as well.

However something traumatic happens to Allie. Roman doesn't know because she hid it from everyone. So Roman treats her very mean. Roman's dad was the one who found Allie, and later when Allie is in trouble again he puts two and two together about how his son knows Allie. At the end can Roman be there for Allie when she needs him? Can Allie trust Roman again?

This book was great! I really enjoyed it and I can't wait for the next book in the series. The narrator for the audiobook was great as well! She really brought the characters to life!

This was a pretty good book. I really liked Allie and felt really bad for her. I really didn’t like Roman for most of the book, to the point that I almost DNF but I wanted to see Allie get some sort of happiness. It was definitely more in-depth that many high school books, which worked for me. I recommend.

I have received an advance copy of wicked devil for review. This story was a large roller coaster full of ups and downs. Let me first start by stating that I did enjoy this read and in times it really did pull me in but, what that being said I do believe that the writer put in too many topics to conquer. She tackles the main heroin losing her mother at an early age, then her long lost bio daddy being a very influential wealthy man. Then there’s the heart break and betrayal from her old life and a touch of bdsm in her new life. Throw in way too graphic sexual encounters for as young as they are and a bit of rape all wrapped up in a standout with the police due to a main supporting character being racially profiled and you have wicked little devil. The characters did have depth but after about the 3 rd catastrophe it starts to become unbelievable, and once you can no longer relate in the story and the characters it becomes a hard drawn out read. I wish the writer would have sticker to one of two major items happening to allow rather than the smorgasbord that had. The characters are supposed to be in high school so I feel as if they way the kids are described in such a sexual nature is a bit too much. I would suggest making them college kids or perhaps a bit more toned down. Most juniors and seniors have no real idea what bdsm is and don’t looks for that kind of control. Another point that can lose some readers. As I stated I read this story in one night but felt it hard to relate to the characters in what I can only assume is the age. They are acting too mature for seniors and exhibit behaviors of older adults so it makes it hard sometimes to put them into a high school setting unless Rome is having a baby melt down.

Being the new girl at school is hard enough but for Allie she also struggles with the aftermath of moving in with her father who she doesn’t even know. When Roman sees her at school he knows he’s found his next toy for him & his friends to play with. But what he doesn’t know is Allie is no pushover & she isn’t afraid to give it right back to him. Soon his interest in her becomes more and as he battles his feelings, they both lower their defenses to explore what’s happening between them. But then a horrible event happens that spirals everything out of control and destroys all faith and trust.

This is my first read from this author and I really enjoyed this book. Roman was terrible to Allie but he had his moments where he realizes he can’t fight his feelings anymore. Allie thought she’s been through the worst experiences in her life but nothing can prepare her for what was going to happen. Roman and his friends went back to being horrible again & this is where Allie shows the inner strength she’s always had to push through & persevere. Looking forward to reading the next one!

4.6 stars
This is the first book I have read by the author and I look forward to see where she takes these Devils next. The first book concentrates on Allie and Roman. It is a school bully story and so much more that is unexpected. Allie has had her life uprooted in the worst way and at the worst time when she has to transfer to a new high school. It is never easy being the new girl made more troubling when you have those “mean girls” who are out for blood especially if they see you as competition. However, you cannot judge a book by its cover. Allie has her own demons that she is reckoning with and it does not help when she gets paired up with Roman, the big man on campus. Through the story, the author does a commendable job in translating Allie’s emotions, making her relatable and wanting to shield her from enduring more pain. Roman, on the other hand, is a self-centered tool that needs a swift kick in the you know where so that hopefully his eyes will open and see what is really happening around him. Overall, this is one engaging storyline that started out a little slow but picked up steam as it went along. I volunteered to read a copy of this book provided by Netgalley.

I wouldn’t really class this as bully romance more just high school romance,( it’s recommended reading 17+ so not for everyone) but it was an entertaining read. I loved Allie, how normal she was, how because of everything she’d been through she wasn’t backing down and she knew exactly who she was. You are drawn into liking and loving Roman even though you don’t want to initially, the pacing is good and writing is nice. It was an enjoyable and accessible read

Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for a free copy for an honest opinion

This book surprised me. I need more than 5 stars. The author is new to me but I'm looking forward to reading her next in the series. These devil boys are hard to resist, too much alpha in them lol. Even when they are jerks, they still get points on my book for being super protective.

Big warning! This story has triggers. Very descriptive ones. It had me feeling anxious, unsettled and majorly disappointed in a few characters. At some point I even felt my heart in my throat. I felt incomplete wanting justice or at least wanting for some people to get what they deserved... but life is not fair to Allie, at all. She can only take so much, doesn't matter how strong her backbone is. So it's a good thing that Roman claims her as his, because she needs someone to be present. It's not an easy process (mostly due to his ego) but he definitely cares. And it's healing for the soul to read the process and measures that are taken to move on from all the loss and abuse. Plus in the process we get to read how Roman and Allie annoy, confuse, irritate and hurt the life out of each other to then kiss it all better.

Omg this book threw me through a roller coaster. I wish it was longer or had less "events" that happened to Allie. It was a good book but it became unbelievable due to the fact that so much bad things happened to this 17 year old within just a few short months.

Despite everything I really did like Roman and am really looking forward to the next book. He grew alot and it was nice to feel that change in him instead of just being told it happened. The book is very graphic (not gory but you can vividly picture everything that is going on) The characters are well thought out and once started, I couldn't put this book down.
