I found myself smiling through much of this book. I was charmed by the lead character's relationship with her best friend, and pleased that the focus wasn't on Jennifer's impending death but, instead, on how she lived while waiting to die. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did but, really, it was a fun read. Chick-lit for sure, but well-done chick-lit, which doesn't come around very often. I highly recommend it. |
