Calla shows how much she’s grown – not. She continues to make the reader laugh. This is the type of book that you can get lost in. This is a story that is all pure imagination. The imagination that starts from the first book. It’s a series that must be read in order.

If you really want to enjoy Calla than in order to enjoy her you need to start where it all began. You won’t doing that because the author has ways to make you laugh out loud. It may be listed as a book for young adults/children but I think anyone would enjoy.

The author is very creative. She takes an imaginary character and we get to see her through her diaries. All her feelings and impressions are written down for us to experience. The author takes the time to include pictures which was just a plus. If you’ve gotten through Calla’s current adventure then the ending will get you ready for the next.

A easy and swoon worthy romance book. Going on a quest with your big crush to find your missing father, what can go wrong? Well let me tell you. A LOT. Its hard and long way to find her father. Calle will have to fight for it till the very end. I can't wait for the next book!

More Calla! A lot of fun and fantasy. Probably best for a YA audience, a bit twee for adults. However it’s very contagious in its action and plot. I’ll definitely continue in the series!

Another cutesy story. Calla is having to learn and grow - which I like. The twist at the end surprised me. But I liked seeing Calla and Dare get closer.

I love this middle grade book I love the series so far I read it in one sitting took one day two read.
Caller is now a queen who can cast spells and demand everyone two come two court but no one does she been trying for days she decides two trap them with a bag of Cheetos they love that she demands they come. Sammy is a bouncing ball and a sceptre that’s always by her side but sceptre can hurt caller and drain her magic away he she don't use sceptre carefully. The party arrive and she captures them with the Cheetos she explain why haven’t you come before when I sent you letters they didn’t and then in the end they said the goblin king would not let them come two her because they reckoned soon her powers will fade as queen and she be no use two the elf as a ruler. She didn’t think it would happen she didn’t believe them how can sceptre hurt her they got in great they became friends she trusted the magic with it.
That night caller couldn’t sleep she went into the library and fought a strange lavender spell it was the goblin king he ordered she came two sea him two veg two stay alive she took no nonsense and he left then cane dare the prince ghost dare they been friends for years she like him all her he been by her side since she was little. Always protected her she told him the story that no one fought she be great as queen that sceptre would kill her if her powers in the end and They fought she explode into air. She knew she had two sea her father and date offered two go with her and so he did they went into the human works cast a spell that no one would she them when they got there they fought her father was dead a spell was on him so he couldn’t move the goblin king had him in his castle two hurt her she was so upset. She knew she dare by her side they often spends night together with clothes on but it was for comfort more than anything. Ivy was always there looking after caller dressing her fearing her things she promoted her two butterflies she helped her in any way. She knew she had two command the goblin king that night and she did only two discover he captured ivy her loyal butterfly he had ivy and her father two hurt her he command that she attend two her castle so he can help her really she had no choice the smell of lavender was overpowering indeed until he left.
She writes in her journal that she keeps when she stressed she knew she had two find ivy and her father she must sea her mother the queen Dare offers two help with her he goes with her along the journey two her mother she at her mother palace but thing were strange her mother was odd not welcoming she fought at first the goblin king must have got two her. Her mother said you must visit the goblin king at his castle and you have one week two attend and climb the mountain she could sea her mother started two cry and she was otherwise I explode write yes and dare will go with you but you must not kiss or have feeling two wards each offer either she knew dare like her she knew things would be awkward indeed. So they took snacks and when on the quest she was tired of walking and cold date offered two keep her warm and he did they had two meet the eidolon caves the mountain were cold they had wafers for snacks but she was tired and drained from the mountain walking. When they got two the caves the lavender smell would great them she knew the goblin castle was near and after days of visiting the ghost cave the attack of the goblin king she couldn’t take no more than she had two use sceptre magic two get date out of the water from the attack of the ghouls she hated the monsters that cane from the wall they were really scary and loads of them. They finally got two alabaster hall she found her father Tristan and ivy they were alive they knew she would come the goblin king ordered then two stay there until she came.caller and date had two fight the gargoyles they were every wear They win she exploded into tiny bits like ghosts in the end she knew that was her way she had two she was an elf again she dare were so close he needed her father permission two stay together ivy was getting caller ready and date in a sleigh dare takes her two her favourite place winter realm the snow scene was beautiful the prince dare kissing her every wear it was so magical and dare prince gives her a ring. They be together for ever.
This book was amazing I loved it the drawing were beautiful drawn I can’t wait for book three two sea what happens two dare and caller.

Just as great as the first book. This is a wonderful series and I can not wait to read more. So cute. Another great addition to any library.

These books are so fun!

If you're looking for a lighthearted story told in a very easy way, these books are sure to lift your spirits. Calla is newly queen and dealing with some drama in her kingdom. Nobody wants to be near her and she's getting very little respect. Oh, and she's also getting stalkery letters from the gargoyle king on the regular. Roll all that together with a prank-prone pixie and you get Calla, ready to adventure!

This book takes Calla on a journey to avoid some pretty bad side effects to her new rule. She's got Dare by her side (don't worry!), but I'm sure there's some major twists and turns ahead! I completely enjoyed this wild ride to new and exciting lands. Calla might be young and impetuous, but she is seriously growing on me. I can't wait for more!

Calla and Dare are being sent on a mission. The Blue Fairy doesn’t think it is a big deal, but if they aren’t successful, they will be dead in a week. That is a big deal on everyone’s level! Blue also thinks that since Calla and Dare are friends that it won’t be awkward, but this is awkward to the extreme since Calla has a huge crush on Dare. It doesn’t help that they would like to ask Calla’s dad for permission to court and if they do any inappropriate touching without that approval, then the answer will be an absolute NO! Will Calla and Dare be successful in their quest? What will Calla’s dad say when asked if they can court?

Calla is the second book in the Pixieland Diaries series. This book picks up quickly after the last book and it is still written in diary format. Since diaries are meant to be casual in their presentation, this book reads very quickly and without a lot of drudging details. I feel this book is meant to be an escape read and is not intended to be looked at as high literature. Calla was fun to read and could easily be read in one sitting or over a weekend. I can’t wait for the next book, Dare, to get released.

I just could not get into this book. Calla was to me annoying and just all over the place. I felt like things just happened to easily. Oh no she forgot her dads approval oh wait he gives it in the nick of time so now she can still see Dare.

I understand the journal entries and how they are supposed to be informal. I dont understand why stuff would be crossed out and re-explained to seem less mean or intentional. Calla also in my opinion speaks like an annoying teeny bopper and I read her with an annoyingly high pitched fake voice.

Personally this book isnt for me but for someone else it may be there favorite. If the description captures your interest give it a try never let another's opinion influence yours we all enjoy different things.

i cant say much out without spoiling the story but this is a must read for any age!

I absolutely love the journal style of this book series and i LOVE seeing calla develop as a fairy!
