What a cute little picture book.

Ballerhino, tells the story of a rhino who wants to learn to fly. Since rhinos can't fly, he settles for learning ballet instead. A very cute little book that teaches our Littles about following our dreams and also about accepting who we are.

As always, thank you to the publisher and netgalley for providing me a copy in exchange for an honest review

Sweet story about a rhino who isn't happy with who he is until his friends help him see he is perfect as he is.

Ballerhino is a picture book that celebrates a rhino achieving his dreams to dance, despite not beginning as the most graceful creature. The illustrations are fun and provide a nice backdrop for the story, while beautifully highlighting the emotions of the characters. The plot of this children’s book lends itself to a social discussion with children based on body positivity, motivation, and the impact of others’s words on our feelings.

This book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I received this ebook in exchange for an honest and fair review. This book is very well written and illustrated. I feel like it would be a great story to read to my students and help them to see that they can be whatever they want. It also shows great friendships.

My 6year old loved this book!!! She laughed out loud when the hippo tried to fly and went BOOM into the water. We both thought the pictures were beautiful and fit the book very well. I would recommend this book to young elementary, 1st grade and under.

I hate to give negative feedback on a children's book, but just like Rhino trying to fly, this one fell flat for me. It wasn't super entertaining and ended fairly abruptly for a picture book. I cannot recommend this one unfortunately.

This is a beautifully illustrated children's book; the landscapes are especially well done. I liked Rhino's story and how he is helped by his friends.

Beautiful, sweet book about learning to love who you are, all with the support of your friends. A great addition to the library's collection, and wonderful for gifting.

Ballerhino is a cute, simple little picture book about a Rhino that wants to fly. Instead of flying, he settles for learning how to dance to express his joy, with the help of a few of his friends. Great for younger readers and read alouds about perseverance.

This is certainly a pleasant enough read for the youngster who can manage just a few short sentences per double page spread. The spreads are always beautiful, with a great painterly quality that makes this most eye-catching. The story itself is of a great galumphing rhino who doesn't want to be so great, nor so galumphing – indeed he wants to be light and sprightly enough to fly, at one time, before deciding on a happy medium between the two extremes. It's a pleasantly silly story, but what made me frown at the end was we don't really see the rhino in full flow – we did on the front cover, but could we not have had a dramatic action shot to finish the story with? This unusual decision threw me, and threw away roughly half a mark, but as it is it's visual appeal is still enough to make it about a four.

I know that these picture books are not for me, but I love them. A short, but most of the time, good story, beautiful pictures and 5 minutes reading. I saw on NetGalley that there are a few of them, and requested them.
This story was so cute and heartwarming. I am not a mother, but if I would be, I would give it to my child. I love picture books because of these stories.
The pictures were beautiful. I am not an artist, so I'm sure I am wrong, but it looks like they were drawn with chalk. Unfortunately, and I am not a fan of this type of drawing, but regardless of that, they were fantastic.
I loved it.
