Mmmm, not really my thing I'm afraid. I found Kaitlyn a bit irritating, the story too obvious and there were a few too many errors. Did not finish it.

This is a suspensen novel about a woman receiving strange letters. After being stalked from months she beings to think that it may be related with somethign that happened in the past... when she was someonelse... Very entertainig

I enjoyed listening to the different voices of this story. I did like the reader.

This story has a simplicity to it that made it easy listening.

However, that same strength in this book is a weakness. It is repetitive and it tends to describe how people look rather than who they are. That made the characters less interesting, as the characters didn't have depth to them, only looks. It also makes their actions inexplicable.

Repeating "The Shallows" to make it seem threatening does not make it become menacing, only tedious.

There is a deus ex machina. I do not appreciate that. It could have been introduced in the story but wasn't.

Kaitlyn Ashe is one of the top DJ's in Philadelphia, but she is hiding from her past.  When she starts receiving anonymous letters, she is hesitant to say anything - until one shows up at her home.  The police are brought in and things begin to get creepier and bloodier.

This is more of a combination between a psychological thriller and a creepy detective novel.  I like it okay, but I guess I prefer less gore in my psychological thrillers.  I didn't think that the backstory/flashbacks were done well and I guessed the killer right away.  The second storyline of the serial killer felt like it was simply tossed in to try to throw readers off track .  I'm giving it 3 stars, but it is really 2.5 stars.

This was an interesting mystery with maybe a little too much going on in the plot. It's mainly a story about an even radio host who does an easy listening and request evening shift. She starts receiving odd messages - demanding she play certain songs and implying she needs to remember what happened in the Shallows. Slowly you learn what that means, why it means so much and what's really going on.

It's told from three perspectives - officer trying to figure out the mystery of the threats and the main character receiving them and, finally, the person who is sending them. But all three of these people have other things going on in their lives. Even though this was short, it felt a bit bogged down with the minutia of day to day life - other cases, showering, eating breakfast. Listening was a bit slow in certain areas but all in all, an intriguing mystery that I did enjoy.

I was disappointed by this book... I had really high hopes but only got a few chapters in before I decided I couldn't listen anymore. I felt it was way too elusive and repetitive (meaning the author kept writing the same sentence over and over). I also felt the narrator was not as engaging as some others I have listened to. This was not a bad book, but it was not for me.

Kaitlyn Ashe worked hard to become the top rated radio DJ in Philadelphia – and to leave her past well and truly behind her. Anonymous letters arrive. Someone knows her darkest secret but who? The events that transpired at The Shallows will never be put to rest….

#DeadAir alternates between a first person point of view for the stalker while Kaitlyn and Rodney's chapters are in third. This kept the story interesting. The pacing was really strong until the halfway point when I figured out who the stalker was.
I would recommend this book -it is a fast paced thriller with good characters and plot however I cannot say it fits suspense with being so easy to figure out.

This novel was a waste of time. There were no redeeming qualities, but many faults. I don't like to beat a dead horse, as it were, so I'll simply say that you should skip this one.

This was a great audiobook! My husband and I listened to it on a long car ride. He is not a big reader but really enjoyed it as well! I was happy to see him hooked from the very beginning and choosing to listen to this over the radio.

Katelyn is an evening radio host specializing in song dedications and anti-dedications. She starts to receive letters from a stalker referring to an incident in her past. She tries to brush them off but eventually can no longer hide from the notes.

This book kept me guessing and while I was eventually able to figure out some of the mystery I was always intrigued and wanting to know more. I really connected with the characters.

Overall I enjoyed this one but there were times I was left with a feeling of unease because there were too many different tangents going at the same time. Kaitlyn Ashe has been working in Philadelphia for a few years after moving around for several years after a life altering event in her teens. Now she is the happiest she has ever been, she is in love, and her career is on a high point. Then the letters start coming. She has a stalker...Then the phone calls...And then she is run off the road. Who could be doing this? She has a secret but it really becomes deadly when her fiance is killed in her driveway. Will the police figure this out before it is too late? As stated before, so many twists and turns and you don't find out who until the end. I had this one is audio and the narrator was okay.

Thank you to Netgalley and CamCat Publishing for this ALC of Dead Air. I ended up really enjoying this audiobook, the suspense was steady and the plot was never given away until late in the story. The narrator was fantastic! She had a great reading voice and kept me entertained throughout the book.

The story was great. I was hooked fairly early on and it made my car trips so much more enjoyable. The narrator was great! I will be looking for the same narrator for other books for sure. Great infliction, emotion, and more to keep you from losing focus on the story.

While there weren't as many unsurprising twists as expected it was still a very enjoyable book.

Dead Air was narrated by a single voice. Rachel Fulginiti was nice to listen to, her voice was well suited to telling this story.

The story was a compulsive listen, it hooked me straightaway.
This was a brilliant suspense thriller, I'd guessed the reveal of Dead Air but the story was still gripping.
Michael Bradley wrote this really well and his skill is impressive.

Dead Air was much more than it’s title suggests for me. I enjoyed listening to the audiobook of this Michael Bradley book, I found the plot entertaining and loved the beginning few chapters the most. I could picture the city and the radio studio well and the main character was likeable even though troubled. I did feel the characters could have been developed more, although his background was spoke about I felt I didn’t know a lot about the police officer, Rodney so found it hard to really connect. With a little more character depth this book would have been more captivating to me.

The narration of this book was perfect, I loved how she got Kaitlyn’s “radio voice” just right and how much it contrasted with the rest of the reading

This was an enjoyable audiobook. The narrator was perfect and the story was very engaging. Definteley made my car journey much more interesting. Thank you.

I really enjoyed this story. I found the plot refreshingly original. The author captured the atmosphere of a local radio station well and the characters were well developed. The heroine was likeable, and I liked the fact that the villain wasn't just some madman, but someone whose sense of justice went sideways. The relationships between the characters was believable. The narrators voice was perfect for this book...silky...smooth. Very pleasant to listen to.

I loved the book. Well-written, great characters, excellent narration.

The story itself was good. I enjoyed this book but about 50% of the way through I figured out who the psycho was. Which made listening to the rest of book hard. LoL

I was able to guess the killer from way to early. Also at about 4.5% the author describes two elderly women as “African-American and Caucasian” which in today’s age are NOT needed words. No other characters “race” is described. He could have simply put “Two elderly women stepped out of their vehicle”

Book review: the intro was fantastic and plot was mysterious too but the characters were dull.
