Thank you NetGalley and Ringmaster Publishing for the free copy. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I thought I gave this book a try since it's on my auto-approved list and I'm in the mood for a new author. Plus, the cover is pretty hot and the book description is pretty decent.

Unfortunately, the author's style of writing is not my cup of tea. It lacks maturity and flair in story-telling. I survived 1/3 of the book before I decided to give this a pass. It almost made me doze off and it was only 8:30 p.m.

I enjoyed this book. Interesting storyline and characters. Good chemistry. Great romance. I would definitely read this author again.

The Rule of 3 is a MMF romance novel by Ariella Talix about a man named Tanner Lassiter and his childhood sweetheart Zoe and his college boyfriend Eli. This was the first novel of this nature that I have read so I went in not knowing what to expect. The beginning was a little rough because I felt the backstory was a little too choppy and didn’t flow right. However once you got into the meat of the story it flowed better and was an actual good story and the steamy sections were oh so steamy I thought I was going to blush. Overall I liked the story and the characters and how well they meshed together.

Some of this book is a little cheesy others are rather hot and steamy. I could have done without as much of the explanation at the beginning of the book. It almost felt like filler to make it a little bit longer. I feel that their backgrounds could have been explained in one or two chapters.
