This book is soooo precious!  If you are a fan of Anne of Green Gables, then you absolutely must get this devotional.  It is priceless.  Each devotion starts with a scripture, then a short passage from the beloved novel, with an application for your life today.  Then a prayer and another scripture.  It is just truly a wonderful devotion.  I have a digital copy but I will buy the physical copy.  It is so good.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this devotional!!! I quickly read through it to give a review, but I will definitely be purchasing one of these and going through it daily. I love Anne of Green Gables and I am so happy there is a devotional that incorporates biblical values into it. I love the Personal Application and Prayer for Today parts. It's so practical and very well put together. The images within the devotional are adorable too! Just 100% over all, very well done!!

As a lover of Anne of Green Gables and everything related to Anne of Green Gables, I just had to get this devotional!!

Needless to say, I enjoyed it a lot! It was beautifully done. Not only is the cover so lovely, but the illustrations inside are as well. They’re very unique, colorful, and so pretty! I just loved them. 

I loved how the author did a devotional for each chapter of the book. She really did it so well. With each chapter’s incident, she relates it to a verse or chapter in the Bible and how we can apply that to our lives. I thought that was so neat!! There’s actually a lot you can learn from Anne of Green Gables. 

I think this book would make such a lovely gift, especially for Anne of Green Gables lovers. They will be so happy if you give them this (or if you give it to yourself!) 
It’s pretty much a must for any fan. It would just look soo pretty on a shelf with your Anne books.😉

I’d recommend to not only Anne of Green Gables lovers, but also those who are hoping to read it. I think it would make such a great companionable read alongside the book. 
Basically, I’d recommend this to anyone! There’s really no age limit in my opinion. I think children, preteens, teens, adults, everyone can take something away from these simple messages of truth! Rachel Dodge did a great job.💚

Really enjoyed this. I used it every day and I felt like it was relatable even though it was meant to be set in Anne of Green Gables time. Simple and easy to use. I would purchase this as gifts for friends.

I adored this little devotional! I am a long time lover of the Anne of Green Gables series and knew I had to check this out once I saw it! This book definitely lived up to my expectations! The daily devotionals have a related scripture, quote from the book, discussion of that quote/how it applies to the story, a personal application to the reader's life and then a prayer for the day. It was such an enjoyable read and is definitely one that I will come back to again and again, just like the AOGG series! 

The kindle version I have had a wonky picture format, so what I am guessing are gorgeous pictures, were broken up on my screen. However, I did not take off stars as I enjoyed the book so much and it may just be in the ARC copy that I received!

I received an advanced copy of, The Anne of Green Gables Devotional, by Rachel Dodge.  I loved Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery, I loved the book and the tv shows.  This is a great book, to read by yourself or with a group, it has discussion questions, Scripture, and a 40 day devotional.  Kindred Spirts will love this book. I wish I had this book when I was growing up.

As someone who grew up watching and reading Anne of Green Gables I knew I had to read this book. I am a stay at home parent and sometimes daydream about other things. But after reading this daily devotional I wanted to daydream a little more but Anne Shirley style. For those who are looking for a devotional that will bring back memories of reading and watching the movies then this is the one for you.

This is a perfect book to give as a gift to the Tween in your life!  With each daily devotional, there is an excerpt from a chapter in Anne of Green Gables followed by the devotional, a personal application, Scripture and a prayer.  It has everything that parents are looking for in a devotional and it links the life lessons that Anne learned to lessons that teens and tweens need to learn today.  I loved how practical and easy to read it was!  I also enjoyed the excerpts from the book that was a favorite from my own childhood.  Also, each chapter has a beautiful illustration with it.  I am definitely adding this book to my list of gifts for my granddaughters for Christmas or birthdays.  I think that they would even enjoy reading a chapter of Anne of Green Gables along with the devotional, so it would be prefect for homeschoolers who are looking for a book to read together for literature.  The uses are innumerable, and the book is a real treasure!

Everyone I know is interested in Anne of Green Gables just for the Netflix series... If I think about It it makes me happy that some people at least started reading because they saw a movie or series, but it makes me sad a person thinks the book is the same as the series. In this case, I found a lovely content merged with progressive cultural content that wants to be included in young minds, I shouldn´t be surprised, since it happens all the time nowadays, I´m just sad about all the girls out there who are not able to discern yet and are indoctrinated in subtle ways. I wonder if even adults notice these changes. Anyway, about the book, I hope you read and keep with you just all the beautiful teachings, the author of this devotional took the time to take some of those teachings and make a great company for your devotional if you want to talk and teach different topics with the young minds around you. Enjoy.

If you are planning to read Anne of Green Gables I highly recommend this to use along side it. There is a devotion that ties into each chapter directly.

Every Anne fan is going to want to add this one to their collection! The Anne of Green Gables Devotional is a blend of gorgeous illustrations and Biblical devotions based on the experiences of Anne, Matthew, and Marilla as they become a family.  Each devotion is long enough to be meaningful and create opportunities for thoughtful reflection, yet short enough to be read as a day starter. I am beyond excited to be able to get my hands on a physical copy of this little gem when it’s published.

I am halfway through this beautiful devotional book, and can already promise Rachel Dodge I will be buying several copies for friends and family once it is released!  What an awesome job she did with overlapping scripture to one of my favorite books of all time!!  I love the illustrations and space to write and reflect on the language.  Great job, Rachel!!!!

An absolutely beautiful devotional to read along side an absolutely beautiful story. Anne of Green Gables is a perennial favorite. This devotional will help Christian readers see the story within a new context. 

The Bible quotes are well placed. The illustration style matches the tone of the devotional and story well.

The book is designed as a devotional companion to "Anne of Green Gables ", and has for each chapter, its own devotional entry including key Bible verses, examples from the book, thoughts for personal application, and some beautiful illustrations.

Anne of green gables has been such a lifechanging story for me, that made me learn to appreciate the littlest things in life, to believe that there's still some good and beauty in the world, and to embrace life with open arms. This is why I was intrigued to read this book and see how Rachel Dodge unburied all the spiritual themes and wisdom in it.
when I finished reading it, I was so pleased and delighted to be remembered of god's greatness and mercy on us.

Reading it through a Muslim’s girl point of view has made realize how much in common religions have and how much they all resemble in the means they all organize reality in a way that lets you interpret the world, give it meaning, have values and arrange them in some kind of a set system with a list of dos/don’ts rules, and an understanding about the importance of sacrificing what one has now for some benefit in the future, which has made my reading a lot more interesting and eye-opening.

I loved how the book emphasizes on never losing trust in God, on being patient in the trials that He gives us, on realizing that we must try and on keeping company with the righteous believers (kindred spirits) who will always and continuously remind us of exactly all the above every time.

Overall this was a very pleasant read for me full of life lessons and wisdom and I highly recommend it to all the "Anne of green gables " lovers who are looking for a devotional read.
