PIE! Oh, wonderful delicious pie. Have you ever wondered how to make a double butter crust alongside a vegan crust for your vegan friends? Or how to make a Nanaimo bar…but as a pie?! Or how to make a key lime pie with avocado? You can do it, and it sounds delicious. And it’s not just sweet pies – there are plenty of delicious savory pies, from your traditional chicken pot pie to shepherd’s pie to a beef bourguignon pie. They even have pop tart recipes and recipes for pie ice cream sandwiches...such a variety of delicious things you can make into pie! You Wanna Piece of Me is definitely a book any fan of pie or cooking would enjoy.

Some great pie recipes that I haven’t seen before and not just sweet pies but meat pies as well. The photos are great.

I love this book! It is fun, packed with flavour, humour and family. All part of the recipe for a perfect pie. Written and taste tested by a Canadian with Canadian recipe classics. The titles for each section are quirky, photographs bright, eye catching and love how they have used pastry to write clues and information on the pie crust. Highly recommend this book for pastry loves everywhere
