Very cute book for young children. Able to target winter vocabulary and clothing vocabulary in the classroom. Students connected to the main character.

This is a beautiful tale about responsibility. Not only our responsibility to care for the gifts we are given (self and family) but also to those less fortunate. As a mother, I am always in search of titles that will help me to share basic life lessons and how to express the human condition to to the younger generation. Warm Clothes for Bear does just this. It teaches its reader to be selfless in a world which is sometimes consumed with self gratification. Highly recommended!

This is a cute story about friendship, caring and generosity. Bear goes outside to play with his friends, bundled up to keep warm. Some of Bear's friends are not dressed as well, so he generously gives them his various cold weather items. The next thing you know, Bear ends up sick in bed. Will his friends come and help him feel better? Delightful, whimsical, colourful illustrations add to the sweetness of this story. A sweet way to teach sharing, caring, friendship and generosity. I did tell my grandkids that they need to keep their coats, hats and mittens on outside and we brainstormed other ways Bear could help next time.

This was a cute book about a group of friends who are playing outside in the snow. It was a sweet story about sharing and recognizing the needs of others. It would be a great book to teach children about empathy and friendship.

This book is a heart-warming look at friendship, sharing, and going out of your way to help someone. The story and illustrations are both very cute. Good for use in a classroom about sharing and an ESL or ELL classroom as a way to learn words for winterwear.

He was a kind-hearted little soul who gave his friends the very clothes off his back and socks off his feet. They were freezing and needed his help, all because they were not dressed warmly enough. Although this was a kind thing to do, it wasn’t the right thing at that time. Now, the poor little bear was left without clothes and hurried home freezing, lying in bed with a cold. A lovely story about friendship and what a true friend was.

This was a lovely little story about a bear who knows how to share. He shares his warm clothes with his friends as they need it. And they return the favor when needed. The book is a fun read but a little wordy. I like how the illustrator or print layer bolded all the words that were warm clothes. Overall it works and could be used in story times for years to come.

What is a good friend? Warm Clothes for Bear knows how to be a good friend when his other animal friends share a need. He is right there to give the shirt off back for his friend. When bear gets sick, his friends come to his aide as well. A heartwarming story about friendship that will encourage your child to be a friend, to see a need and to meet that need.

Cute story! Bear is all dressed to go play out in the snow. Once outside, he encounters other animals who , for various reasons aren't dressed as warmly, and he gives them his clothes to stay warm. What's Bear to do one all His clothes are gone and now HE'S cold? Littles will enjoy this story. Wonderful illustraions!

Warm Clothes for Bear is a sweet story about a bear who is willing to share all his warm clothes with his friends. This story illustrated sharing and caring for others. I would definitely recommend this book.

'Warm Clothes for Bear' is a heart-warming story that highlights the importance of compassion and kindness for others and oneself. The narration was simple to follow. The gorgeous illustrations were bright and vivid and thus engaging with the intended audience.

I particularly liked the art style as I found it complimented the story well (and it was adorable, too). Also, I liked how Bear’s friends recognised Bear's kindness and later returned the favour.

Overall, this was a lovely story that revolved around friendship, compassion, and self-care. 'Warm Clothes for Bear' would serve as a great conversation starter for little ones regarding sharing whilst also being mindful.

"Warm Clothes for Bear" is a wintry story about sharing. It was okay, but it didn't really grab me. The illustrations were nice, but not unique, and I wasn't a fan of the bolded words.

This is a classic story told in a new way. Caring for others and giving what you can give brings unexpected blessings. Children will wonder what will happen to bear as he helps each neighbor along the way. Many fun opportunities for discussions between parent and child.

The illustrations are bright and fun.

This is a cute, simple story about a little bear who shares what he has, in the vein of <i>The Rainbow Fish</i>. A major improvement, however, is the friends recognizing what the little bear has given, and giving back in return. Simple, colorful illustrations are an excellent addition to the text.

'Warm clothes for bear' shows the real meaning of friendship. Bear is a sweet friend who will help everyone. The story is great, the illustrations are great, and it's a book all kids will love.

This is the second book I've read about Bear, the first being Bear in Love. The books are cute, but very simple.

In this instance, Bear wants to go outside to play, so he gets all bundled up in his winter wear. Each friend he encounters, though, is cold on some part of their body, so Bear sheds his gear, one piece at a time, until he's left shivering. Then his friends come to cheer him up, and everybody learns a lesson about dressing for the weather.

The message about sharing and caring (for yourself, as well as for others) is a nice one. I'm still a bit thrown by the illustrations in these books, however; why is a squirrel the same size as a bear? (There's a scary thought.) But the pictures are cute and kids probably won't care about the weird sizes of the animals.

Overall, this is a nice story about being kind. We could use more books like this in the world.

Cute colorful illustrations but honestly all the animals looked more or less same.
The message the story conveyed is kindness but really how kind one should be .
Even reading this book I wasn't sure if I want my child to give it all away.I want my child to be kind and passionate about others but it must have a limit.

I wasn't really able to fully read this book as the formatting is terrible. The pages were out of order and were chopped off in odd places.

I did notice that the illustrations were very cute and the story seemed like a simple message of sharing and friendship.

Unfortunately because of the formatting I can't really give this an honest review so I will not publish to purchasing sites.

I really enjoyed this book and I loved how Bear was so nice to his friends. I especially love how his friends see how nice he is and make up for it in the end.

The illustrations are sweet and the story is cute, but perhaps a little bit too simple. It has a nice message, but I’m not sure if the messaging is what I’d want to share with my own kids.
