“An Unconventional God” by Jack Levison provides an excellent overview of the work of the Holy Spirit through the Bible. It goes deeper than the normal book so you are receiving good doctrine but in an engaging and accessible way. What I liked about it was that it related the Old Testament episodes to New Testament episodes , opening the Bible up so I felt I was discovering Gods meaning of Scripture. The work and ministry of the Holy Spirit shone through every page. I kept wanting to quote from the book to my husband when a new insight was gained. Definitely a book tomreccomend to all those who want to deepen their faith.
