A gripping and fast read just like the first, a perfect book for those a fan of this genre. Highly recommend.

I had hoped this would be better than the first one, but it wasn`t., sadly.
It was very much the same as the first book, confusing, boring. Too many characters that seemed to be going in and out.

Well, I can’t say this ride was any better, just more of the same confusion. I have read Seven was the most powerful, but I have yet to witness such. Book two was puzzling as Book one.

I can't review Fragmented, as I never read the first book. When I requested it, I had no idea it was book two in a series. Hopefully someday I can read the whole series in order.

This is the sequel to Untamed, a YA dystopian novel. I'd definitely recommend ensuring you've read the first book before reading this one!
I am going to keep this review pretty short, and won't discuss the plot in too much detail. It follows Seven, the main character from the previous book, along with Corin and Esther. They are trying to survive in a world dominated by the 'Enhanced'; people reliant on advanced technology and augmenters for strength, power, beauty, and just about everything else. If the Untamed - like Seven and her friends - are captured, they will be forcefully converted. Seven has already been there, and is definitely not going to let it happen again.
The trio stumbles across a group of other Untamed people - a group that turns out to be part of the largest remaining group of Untamed, practically a myth, called the Zharat. It seemed like the gods and spirits had led them to these people, their saviours.
Naturally, it isn't all that simple. The Zharat are not all that they seem, and Seven and the others encounter a lot of obstacles. They thought they were safe, but they were wrong.
My main things to note are that the writing can be repetitive at times, similarly to the first book, and I noticed the tenses being mixed up throughout it. Nothing major, just little things that I picked up on. Also, I found the marriage plotline to be kind of cliche, you know? But it wasn't bad.
Oh, and like in the first book, I really wasn't feeling the whole Corin-Seven thing. It just felt too forced.
Still, I have to admit that I enjoyed this more than I expected. I enjoyed reading it, I sometimes struggled to put it down. Despite its shortcomings, it is a pretty good book! 3.5 stars.

Fragmented continues the solid plotting and world building on top of the first novel in the series (Untamed). The story starts off exactly where the first book ends and we get to see even more, new Untamed characters in the Zharat tribe. It was definitely interesting to see the difference in dynamic and way of life the main character, Seven, had to comply with. Seven is only a teenager, so I'll give her a little bit of leeway, but the frustrations I had with her character in the first book are still, and maybe even more so, present this time around. I could have done without the romance (I'm honestly undecided if it could be referred to as 'romance' though), as I found the main characters much more unlikeable in this book versus the first. I also thought that the twists in this book were fairly predictable - I think there was really only one twist I didn't see coming.

i enjoyed reading the sequel more than the first, both were really good but I felt this had a maturity from the first. I hope there is more from the author and this series.

Another journey down the rabbit hole with twists and turns that leave you unsettled. Another cliffhanger.

This book looks really good. I haven't read the first book of the series so I just just scanned this one to assess it. It looks to be a written, fast paced exciting read. I think it will be very populat.

Fragmented, the 2nd installment in The Untamed series by Madeline Dyer is just as gripping as the first. This sequel certainly lives up to the hype and takes the reader on one epic ride.

Seven, along with her 2 friends, siblings Corin and Esther, are on the run as Raleigh and an army of Enhanced are hot on their heels.
Thanks to a vision, Seven saves the lives of two men and the trio are given the opportunity to join the Zharat, one of the last surviving Untamed tribes.

But life is not all that it seems with the Zharat, Seven soon learns that being a female seer could result in her execution. The Zharat have many strict rules that must be adhered to, one of which being that Seven must marry one of the Zharat men, her relationship with Corin over.
To go against any of these rules or to attempt to leave would mean their execution.
But with Raleigh and the army of Enhanced still searching for her nowhere is safe, Seven is left with no other choice.

I enjoyed reading Fragmented just as much as I did Untamed, perhaps even a little more. So much so, I have already bought myself the complete collection and cannot wait to read Divided and Destroyed.
I have given Fragmented 5+ stars and would reccomend the series to other fans of dystopian novels.

Book two with Seven Sarr and her continued adventure on how to save the Untamed and get rid of all the Enchanted. Seven, Corin and Esther have gotten away from the Enchanted for now but now they face another. They're the last of their group and they happen upon a larger group of Untamed, the Zharat. They've been looking for others and are so excited to finally meet up with other Untamed but they don't realize what they're getting themselves into since every Untamed group is different. The men and women are separated and the women will be forced into marriages. The women are classed by status, where their status can change at any time but the men can only gain status and not have it taken from them.
"Fragmented" is a good continuation of "Untamed" and I can't wait to find out what happens next.
I would definitely recommend this book.

Things have only gotten worse for Seven, Corin and Esther. They escaped the Enhanced only to come upon more craziness. This world that exists for the Enhanced and the Untamed is very violent and only the strongest survive. Just when I think Seven is going to be safe and be able to rest awhile, something else crazy happens and her world is in chaos. I am just as confused as Seven when it comes to the messages she receives from Death. Now I have to read Divided to see what occurs next.

Fragmented is the second installment in Madeline Dyer’s Untamed series. We continue to follow the seer Seven Starrs as she and her friends try to stay alive against the Enhanced. This story was a bit more difficult to read, a lot of violence and trigger situations.

Seven and Corbin, with a severely hurt Ester finally locate the fabled Zharat but these people are not what they seem. The Zharat live in a male dominated society, filled with violence and suspicion. Here Seven can not be her true self. Does she stay with a society that makes her feel unsafe and fear for her life or does she take her chances on the outside against the Enhanced? Raleigh is never far from her mind and will never give up his claim on Seven.

Absolutely adored this instalment of Dyers follow up to Untamed, yet again 7 really is put through a hell of a time, but it makes me love her all the more, this time it’s a patriarchal society that they choose to join up with, the author writes this so well again as I was so angry, uncomfortable and just so creepy reading this part and 7 trying to get her voice to be heard. Such a wonderful commentary on this world we are in and the patriarchal structures we face, especially with the focus on feminism and women’s rights in the last few years and decades/centuries !! A fantastic sequel, strong, a great journey and answers a lot left unanswered in the first book.

This is an action packed sequel that is just as good as the first book. I definitely want to read more from this author.

Fragmented is book in The Untamed Series. So I can't get into any plot points regarding Seven and Corin without giving away major plot points. The action picks up from where book one left off. There is more world building and we learn more about Seven and Corin. I don't want to say more because I would prefer that you pick up the series and enjoy it.

Fragmented, for me, was a sadly disappointing continuation to Untamed.

It felt like Madeline Dyer was throwing her main characters in an endless pit of doom. Time and time again we had bad news after bad news, every development seemed to take us farther and farther away from what we wanted to read. It's great to have unexpected setbacks and realistic difficulties, but we readers need some balance to keep us interested.

The focus on the spiritual beliefs of the Untamed opened a door for very confusing events (both for the characters and for the reader), very few of which were explained and in a not very satisfying way. The end gives us no hope for the rest of the series (which I might not return to), and the characters seem to be mentally stuck in a loop without any real developments over the course of the story.

All in all, some of my points can be jotted down as a matter of taste and some as a matter of plot planning, and I do not wish to discourage the writer or the possible future readers.

A well written continuation of the first novel. I didn’t love the how the first book left so many things unexplained but this book eventually explains a lot of it. Some parts felt a little drawn out or repetitive but all in all a good read!
