To read this series you need to read the first book because it ends on a baby cliff-hanger and this one will be continuing were that one left off. I was dying to know what had happened.
In this book things between Saylor and Ciaran are starting to pick up, but like every other book there was a few twists and drama along the way. Saylor and Ciaran are still learning and trying to navigate through it all.
This book also ends on a little bit of a cliff-hanger, so now, I cannot wait to see what happens in the next one.

As with book 1 I was completely engrossed with this couple and the story. I found myself holding my breath through parts. More shocking secrets are revealed and Say and Ci find their footing as a couple. Chemistry turns to full on heat and all of the characters relationships deepen in a way that feel natural and unforced considering the circumstances.
This is book 2 of the Midwest Boys story and the "end" for Ciaran and Saylor who find their HEA. I put end it quotes because while the focus of the couple is going to change there is still so much left untold at the end of this story. I can't wait for the next couple as well as to learn more about what is going on because What is going on!?
If you are into romantic suspense I definitely recommend this series.

This is the second installment in A.M. Brooks' Midwest Boys Series. My #MNGirl picks up where the first book left off, and I was happy to see that the crazy cliffhanger from the first book was addressed and resolved. 

The action picked up right at the start of this one and continued the whole way through. The world of Rogue gets even more twisted and messy in this book. Tragedy rocks the group, Saylor in particular, and for a brief moment, it's a struggle for them to figure out how to proceed. Allegiances are questioned, people begin to question who they can and can't trust, and really, things get rocked for everyone. I got extremely emotionally invested in this book and boy oh boy, it's an emotional roller coaster for sure. 

Ciaran and Saylor's relationship develops and takes a new course throughout this book. There was so much character development and growth, especially for Saylor. I remember being awed at how much she changed in the first book and Brooks nailed it with continuing that development in the aftermath of more tragedy. I really love her as a character, and a lot of that adoration stems from how strong and resilient she is. Ciaran steps up in this book in so many different ways. He's there for Saylor in a way he wasn't before, taking the role of her protector, even though she doesn't necessarily need protection. I got to see a different side of him in My #MNGirl, and that gave him more depth. 

The plot is full of action and the suspense almost palpable as the story unfolds. Being born, raised, and residing in MN myself, I geek out every time I read a book set here, and it was fun to come across mentions of places I recognize (Mayo and that area, for example). There wasn't an insane cliffhanger at the end of this one, which took the stress off my heart (haha). Things came to a close rather quickly but I felt like everything was in a good place and as a reader, I was satisfied. I can't wait for book 3 though, because it appears Silas is the focus of that story and it will be amazing to get a book that focuses on him. (But still has the other characters -- fingers crossed!!) 

If you already read #MNGirl, then you've got to dive into this one and see where things go. And if you haven't read any of the books but you're a fan of well-written action with an enemies-to-lovers theme, then definitely grab #MNGirl and get reading.

This is a suspenseful fast paced page turner and the second book in this series. I just can’t get enough of these characters and can’t wait to see where else this author goes with this story ! The romance is thrilling and steamy hot and this plot is intense I was immediately sucked back in from the first page ! I can’t recommend this series enough! This series is a unique and thrilling page turner and a definite must read from this author ! We got so many answers with this book but we’re still left with plenty questions that need answering. Definite 5 stars from me and can’t wait for the next book in this series!

I loved this book!  So much happens a several shocking turns happen.  Ciaran and Saylor are amazing together!  I was not a fan of Ciaran in the first book but love him in this one!  The same with Silas.  I love Kia and Saylor from the beginning though.  This book has several steamy moments and a ton of suspense!  Saylor is such a tough girl!  She is put through so much in these two books and continues fighting.  I highly recommend this series!

The second book of this series is just as thrilling and exciting as the first. After the devastating events at the end of the first book I was wondering how Saylor would go on. She continues to be the strong young lady that she is and figured it out. This installment has us second guessing everything. There's so much going on I couldn't put it down. Ciaran is so wise beyond his years. I love how protective he is of Saylor. I need all of the guys stories now! This was an amazing book. I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us next.

Midwest Boys series is a fast-paced, page-turner suspenseful NA story that I’ve read back to back and can’t recommend it enough. 
There’s a lot of great scenes with witty banter, heartbreaking and heartwarming moments, as well as thrilling and steamy romance overall. I enjoyed the writing and the character development was very well done.

My #MNGirl picks up right after that heart-wrenching ending in book 1, but do not think for a second that the author gives you a break, hell no, she throws you back into the fray, and Gawd help you because she will not.

The constant surprises at every turn of the pages, the darkish twists, and the feeling that you do not know what you in for was my total cup of tea. I do not know what you will think when you read this book, but in my opinion, this series has a unique storyline, the angst, the feelings, the friendships, and the passion are on another level—totally addictive.

And while Say and Ci's story concludes in this book, we are still left with some questions, and with the happiness that this is not going to be the last we see about them. 

Let me tell you that it is possible for the next book in a series to be so much freaking better than the first one. I did not think it was possible, but A.M. Brooks made it happened! And now, I have no idea what to do with myself. I will be not so patiently waiting for the next books.

I didn’t realise this was the second book in a series, my bad, (I had to go get the first on kindle unlimited though to catch up) so once caught up I loved this so much , I loved the dual POV it’s done so well, the book is fast paced full of mystery, action , intrigue and romance. After reading  this I can’t wait to see what happens next with the Midwest Boys, brilliant

So I was on the fence about the first book of the series, but figured I’d give the second a try. Unfortunately this was a DNF for me. By about 30% it became clear that my issues from the first carried over to the second. I think I’m just too far outside the target demographic to enjoy this book.

MY #MNGIRL is the second full length book in A.M Brook's series. It picks up where the previous cliffy left off. Spoken in 'Third person Perspectives.'
When I read #MNGirl I was very pleasantly surprised at the intricate plot, the awesome world building and fantastic character development. The one thing I was a bit up in the air about was the company, “Rogue” which seemed a bit too much to be believed. It was portrayed as a sort of witness protection program but was run by Matt and his parents and grandparents before him. So a family run witness protection business. It didn’t really ring true, but in this book we got more explanation on the business and it makes it all more believable.

AM Brooks did another fantastic job of delving deeper into the twisted web of Rogue and this world. I fell more in love with the Midwest Boys, with Saylor, and even Matt and Jason. She takes you through an emotional wringer and does so in beautiful fashion.

I will say, though, that this book did rather abruptly. I had a moment of checking to make sure I had all my chapters and wasn’t missing anything, it was that abrupt. We get so many answers in this book, but we’re still left with plenty of questions as we get ready for #SummerGirl. I am still super excited about this series and can’t wait to read more about Silas and Kai!

AM Brooks has once again done a PHENOMENAL job!! Her writing style is amazing that is easy to read and you are never questioning if you are understanding something. I am blown away every time I read one of her books. 

This book is another reason why I love this series so much! Its thrilling, suspenseful, but heartwarming and loving all at the same time. The mystery aspect of this book is like no other. There are so many twists and turns you aren't sure what is gonna happen next. The romance just adds to the drama that is happening all around them. I always have a hard time writing reviews when I love a book so much and this one is just the same. 

The characters got even better. Ciaran is so amazing! His character growth is one of the strongest I've seen. From his broody alpha, he changes into a loving head over heals guy in love. He has to deal with the twist and turns of the occurrences in Rouge all while protecting Saylor. Saylor is the strong, willing to protect the people she loves throughout the entire book. She struggles with trying to adjust to her new life each day because a new interaction comes to her. She remains strong and tough against it all while trying to make things safe again for her and her loved ones. The connection between the two is intense. You can feel the sparks that radiate between the two while reading. I totally love them together. The supporting characters are just as great. Silas and Kai, Ciaran's best friends, are just completely lovable. Kia is the goofball that is the balance between serious and easy going. Silas, he is most brooding character in this series. This book you get to se Silas in a new way and he relaxes some and isn't as serious and broody. Matt, Jason, and Molly are the amazing adults that keep Rouge together, they play a very important part. You also meet so new characters who play critical parts in the book. 

Everything about this series has been perfection, whether it be the covers, the story, the characters, all the way down to the book playlist, its simply perfect! I recommend everyone reading this. You do have to read book 1 #MNGirl before this book though, but that book is a just as amazing as this one.

I loved #MNGirl so I was thrilled to get to read My #MNGirl early. The characters I came to love in the first book were further entrenched in my mind and heart in this awesome sequel. Saylor was likable from the first moment, Ciaran not so much. This book definitely made me fall in love with him too! The relationship between all of the characters was well written and made you want them to get their hea. The suspense made it where I couldn't put it down. I read the first book in 2 days and read this in 2 days as well. i got up 2 hours before my family every day just to get to read. I hate spoilers in reviews and the synopsis tells you what its about. Do yourself a favor and read both books, they will keep you on the edge of your seat. I can't wait until the next book in the series and to get into Silas's mind! 
Now, I am going to check out this authors other books. I had never heard of her before these and I'm thrilled to know she has other books!

This book is extraordinary. The best continuation of the Midwest Boys series A.M. Brooks has delivered such an amazing read with My #MNGirl. 
I absolutely adore Saylor while not being able to get enough of the boys amusing personalities and their protective ways.

There is definitely more than meets the eye with these characters as their story unravels. If you haven’t started this series you really need to with book one, #MNGirl.

This comes highly recommended.

A.M. Brooks had me on the edge of my seat through this entire book and I couldn't have been more excited! As expected through this series so far, tons of mystery, action, suspense, romance, and tears. The story line of this series is such a breath of fresh air. Different in a great way! While I'm sad to see Say and Ci's story end, I'm sure we haven't heard the last of them. And I can't wait for book three in the Midwest Boys Series!

MY #MNGirl continues from where the first book in the series left off. The story was still focused on Saylor and Ciaran and It was action-packed, intense and such an awesome emotional ride.

Saylor is still in hiding, but after a tragic event involving her mother and little sister, the situation she finds herself in becomes even more dangerous. Her father's enemies are lurking in the shadows, ready to strike at any moment, and there might be a traitor inside Rogue, the organization that fights to protect her. But one thing's for sure, she's now part of the family and Ciaran will do anything to keep her safe.

Told from dual pov, full of twists and turns, with fast-paced action, dangerous and angsty situations but also hot encounters between the protagonists, this book had me enthralled until the very end. There is also a lot of character development, we got to see Saylor and Ciaran grow as a couple. Their relationship was even more intense, they were electric together. I love the strength Saylor has shown, despite constantly being in danger she pulled herself together and showed a tougher side. And seeing Ciaran lowering his walls and opening up to her was heartwarming. He would do anything to protect Saylor and keep her out of harm's way. I was completely enamoured by him. While this book was the end of Saylor and Ciaran's story, I am sure we'll continue to see them in the next instalments of the series. I'm very excited to see how Silas's story will unravel and what new dangers the team will have to face.

For me, this story was a page-turner, I was captivated from the beginning of book one and I highly recommend the series to everyone who loves suspenseful romances.

This book is just as captivating as the first and I highly recommend these books in order as this book picks up where the first left of with that cliff hanger.

After everything that has happened all she wanted was to feel safe and live her life. But for Saylor  evil is every where. She's still hiding out and she is strong as she's ever been but life now is so different for her. She finds it so hard to trust but knows that she has to put her trust in him and the boys.
Ciaran knew that the only thing that mattered was keeping her safe, her life and protecting her but it's not as easy as he thinks but he'll do what ever it takes. He was trained for this life but didn't bank on the love he feels for  her. Can the Midwest Boys protect her and change everything for the better?

These two characters have the most amazing connection and their chemistry is still as sizzling as ever. Their journey that they go on is incredibly tough and things are not easy but, Saylor used to be the woman he hated now she was the woman he needs to protect. We do get to see more of Ciaran and how different he is from the first book and its awesome to see. I love the bond that this group has and this book has twists, turns and shockers  that the reader will defiantly not see coming. In this book things become a tad clearer and we get to see more of everything and every one.
The way that this author has written this book, even from book  #1 right through to this book is absolutely amazing and I couldn't put it down. I tell you that once you start reading these books it's impossible to do anything until you have finished it. This story flows brilliantly and seeing how things unfold is fantastic. They way that this author has written all these characters will have the reader fully invested and totally connected to them and their story and this book will grip you completely. It really does have it all, drama, suspense, mystery, love and hope and has your emotions all over.
This author has a awesome writing style and has a way of holding your attention throughout and that ending wow, just wow. I highly recommend that you read them both in order to make it easier to follow the story because take it from me you do not want to miss a freaking second of it, this book and series deserves 10 million stars because its awesome and I cant wait to read more in this series.

WHHHATTTTT? This series just gets more and more murky as we go along, but in the best ways. The twists and turns keep me flipping the pages, and the revelations have me shouting my emotions.
Character development between book 1 & 2 is unreal. When I tell y’all that these characters have GROWN, it’s not an exaggeration. These MidWest boys did not come to play with anyone, they are here, and they are letting us all know. 
My heart continues to bleed for Saylor, her life is an epic mess of almost unfixable proportions, but the girl is a champ, taking so much in stride. 

I’m ready for our #SummerGirl, I think more will come to light, and hopefully take some of the edge off this cliffy.

Oh my goodness, you guys are not prepared for that ending!!!

This author totally got me with #MNGirl (Midwest Boys 1), that book blows my mind off. It was everything and more and she tightened the story with a cliffhanger that keeps me counting the days for the release of book #2 (My #MNGirl), and guess what, I wasn’t disappointed at all.

This book is full of theories crossing my mind with everything that happened in Rogue, so many twists and turns of things from the past that definitely is affecting the people in the present. Things related to Ciaran and Saylor finally looking good and the heat between this two is been released with some very hot scenes in bed( oh my, I’m fanning my self here, Lol) and some romantic details (sometimes this boys melted and become like those cute and snuggled stuffed bears).

There’s some secrets that got revealed and surprise me because I never saw it coming, and then the ending left me with a big open eyes, mouth and thinking “now what”? It can’t end like this, Ashton can be this cruel with us, right?

There’s more books to come and for sure all the questions and things that hasn’t been clarified and brining to light needs to be on the next book, that’s where my hope is. So many theories rounding my mind and I can’t wait for the next book, which may be, or not be about Ci and Say ;) my mouth is zipped now :)

So just to finish with my chatting and thinking over here I’ll say that this author knows how to keeps you attach to every line in this book, with the twist and turns, the suspense on some situations only adds more reasons to maintain the interests on the story and find out how will everything turns out at the end.

The setting: Savage Lakes, Minnesota
The Hero: Ciaran, a high school senior, works for his Uncle’s company Rogue. His job is to protect Saylor Torre.
The Heroine: Saylor, also in high school, her father is a criminal and when he took off with the money he stole, he put a target on his family (Saylor, her mother and younger sister). Saylor is hiding out at Rogue headquarters with Ciaran and his uncle Matt while her mother and sister were being moved elsewhere.

Rogue is well-oiled machine that leaves nothing to chance and has a contingency plan for all situations.”

In this book the romance between Saylor and Ciaran heats up quite a bit. This is not a young adult romance, though these characters are in high school they could easily be in a job setting or in college and have a very similar plot. The romance is super steamy and the characters deal with extremely tough situations. Ciaran and his friends carry guns and take the protection of their targets and each other very seriously. 

I am really enjoying the plot, and all the characters. I can’t wait to see what happens with Ciaran’s friends Kai and Silas. Kai is getting to know Saylor’s best friend from New York and it looks like a romance is brewing between them. But Silas is a dark horse and broody as well. He grew up with the mistaken impression that Saylor’s mother ruined his parents marriage. Though he recently found out it was actually his mother that ruined his father and Saylor’s mother’s relationship. She also did some awful things before leaving. So Silas is coming to terms with that and slowly becoming a more likable guy. I can’t wait to see who he ends up with and hopefully that will be as good a story as this one. 

This book was the end of Saylor and Ciaran’s story and Silas’ story is next. I thought this ended a bit abruptly, but I am sure the next book will take off right where this one left off just like this one did from the first book. I can’t wait to find out what happens next!
