Accidents that aren’t accidents? A man that you fell in love with 20 years ago that died in a car wreck starts appearing in your dreams? What’s real? These are the questions Lynzi begins to ask herself. But the biggest question is are Fae real?

Although the supernatural elements are at first a bit difficult to embrace (partly because they always strike me as sitting awkwardly with the basic elements of the romance genre, and partly because the author does a bit of a clunky job integrating them), the zest of the story quickly compensates. A fine 'missed chances/long lost home' romance.

Book one, of Lynzi and Layne's story. Might just be me, but kept getting the names confused on who was who. Both sound like female names to me. Interesting concept of him being fae and coming back for her after 20 years, but struggled to stay connected to the characters. Maybe was the jumping back and forth from dreamland to awakeland, but did end up skimming after awhile. Would still recommend, but perhaps for a younger reader than 50.
