I loved watching these two characters grow together and become who they were meant to be. I watched as they fought what they thought they wanted and worked together to get to the truth or a tough situation. I am so glad it had an HEA as well and that the truth was revealed.

One hot read about a virgin auctioneering madam who has reinvented herself to overcome childhood abuse. Giving life changing opportunities, choices and safety to women. Out of this business she donates to charitable causes supporting women of abuse.

A billionaires innocent sister dies. Her half brother investigates the end of her life, finding where she is last seen, this being her entering the virgin auctions premises, but not exiting.

His and the madam's deep instant attraction is undeniable, as together they investigate his sister's disappearance leading to her death. Or was it.

After searching, answers are found leading to a meeting with his sister, who faked her own death to start afresh in a new life. Their affair, whilst this has been happening draws to an end as other real life relationships intrude, causing friction.

Their love is too strong to be ignored by both of them, and new life dreams come to fruition.

With a happy ever after ending in this romantic story of love, commitment, marriage, family and happiness.

What a fun steamy read! I haven't read the first books in the series but this was great as a stand alone! I loved the story line and I think overall the book came together nicely. I loved the hate to love aspect with some hidden secrets!! Carmen sure knows how to write hot men and steaaaamm!!! Would recommend

While this is part of a series it can be read as a standalone. I haven't read any of the others and I wasn't lost. This had a darker side that i wasn't expecting but it added to the overall story. It would have been difficult for the author not to touch on the seedier side of Virgin auctions and it plays well with the story line. It doesn't glamorize the more dangerous elements which i appreciated. While Madam Alexa is all about safety not every promoter/facilitator can say the same.
The sex scenes are Steaming hot and the chemistry was electric between the main characters. While I enjoyed the book I don't think i will follow the series. A little bit of erotica is good every now and then but sometimes you like a little more depth to your story.

We meet Brooks Taylor at a virgin auction in search of who murdered his half sister, Pamela. Brooks meets Alexa, who runs House of Alexa, an auction house for virgin women. Brooks and Alexa go into business to run a male virgin auction. Alexa and Brooks develop a relationship but after Alexa finds out Brooks’s true motives, she stops seeing him.
Alexa then researches all her files and asks Jackie, her right hand what she remembered of Pamela. I absolutely loved this book. The twists and turns especially the epilogue.

Brooks Taylor is desperate to find out what happened to his sister after she died in suspicious circumstances directly after agreeing to be in one of Madam Alexa’s auctions. Hes tried everything to find the truth and finaly decides to take things into his own hands by pretending to be interested in running a business deal with her. He wasn’t expecting to find the intense pull between them or to feel this guilty about deceiving her. Good story told in Carmen’s distinctive way. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have to admit that The Billionaire's Betrayal was not as enjoyable as the first two books in the series. Of course, they are all standalone and can be read in any order, which is nice. But when it comes to this specific story I didn't feel that the characters even liked each other, actually, you know that they do not like each other very much, but they jump right into bed.

The story is better than the chemistry between Brooks and Alexa. And with there being so much sex, you have to swift through both.

I liked that this was a different take on auctions in which the power is given back to women to set the stakes and rules on their own.

Madam Alexa runs the best of them and is the only point of contact that Brooks Taylor may have in finding the answers to his half-sister's murder mystery (per se). The third book in the series focuses more on finding and building trust between the two; really good character development.

While Madam Alexa personifies strength, Brooks Taylor shreds her of that and leaves her feeling vulnerable and wanting to find her own HEA, plus retirement as well if his business project with her pans out.

With a mystery to be solved as their chemistry evolves, this was a very enjoyable read through and through.

Alexa and Brooks are great characters who you want to see together !! Alexa has run from an abusive past - she just continues to reinvent herself - new place / new name. She is running a very successful business when Brooks comes to her hoping to get information on the disappearance of his sister who was last seen at an event hosted by Alexa’s company. He isn’t honest with her about his true reasons for finding out more about what she does ...

Brooks is successful in his own right - billionaire status yet someone who does not rely on his family name ( old monied from Texas ).
There is an immediate attraction between the two but they don’t trust each other. Brooks betrays Alexa when the truth comes to light as to why he has sought her help.

This book is fast paced - I read in just one sitting !

Loved it as well as the HEA and epilogue !!

Great writing as well that makes you feel invested in these characters.

Like every book by Carmen it was amazing!!!

Well written, intriguing, you get sucked in from the start. Well developed, sexy...

I can't wait for the next one!

This book was such an easy and entertaining read and the spice was definitely there!
Let's start with the things I liked about this book.
I loved the relationship between Brooks and Alexa and liked how strong, uncompromising and unapologetic she was with who she was and what she wanted.
Things that I didn't like so much.
I know this is a romance book and with that comes a lot of smut, but i wish the story would have been developed a bit more. I would have loved to hear more about Alexa's past and what she did to build her business, I also wanted to hear more on why his sister did what she did.

Overall I did enjoy reading this book and was entertained I just wish it wasn't so reliant on smut.

I have read many of Carmen Falcones books, but I missed this series so when I started reading this book I went and read the first two just because I like to read books in a series together. This was no disappointment. I could not put these books down. Alexa and brooks story was interesting steamy and so good. The characters are developed and story is fleshed out. I can’t wait for the next book by this author.

Finally Madame Alexa’s story. I liked the storyline that developed between Brooks and Alexa. It was instant lust that slowly turned into something more the longer they worked together to uncover the mystery. The twists and turns with this book kept you guessing until the very end.

When Alexa is approached by a gorgeous billionaire Texan, she has to ponder his proposal first. There's an attraction that's not necessarily wanted, and she's unsure if she wants partner with Brooks. But of course, things get hot and heavy and Alexa starts thinking about a future together. But Brooks is holding a secret that might jeopardize everything. Will she forgive him?

This is a seriously hot, short read that practically melted my Kindle. I liked Brooks and Alexa together and actually wished I had more time with them together as a couple.

Ladies, listen, this is how you write a erotic romance. This was a delicious read where Carmen nailed the romance, the mystery and my oh my the steamy! This story is hot, heavy and playful, you will need to read to understand!

That’s how he ends up at House of Alexa, a virginity auction place, as his sister was last seen there selling hers. What he wouldn’t expect was to met Madam Alexa and that his life would change.

Alexa is an amazing and strong woman. Her past is tragic and when I learned what happened to her as a kid throughout true teenager years I was left with my heart on my hand. Finally at 15 she ran away from home and after a lot of things, she change her name and finally opened House of Alexa, a place where she could help other women, specially giving them a say how and when they will give their bodies.

When Alexa and Brooks met is a explosion, their chemistry is instant and it was fun to read how they tried to avoid their feelings. But when they were together OMG, they were so hot, they were constantly bringing the heat! I loved how he tried to understand her and within every page his respect toward her was increasing. As for Alexa, she did a lot to help him find out the truth behind his sister death, specially emotional support.

The twist toward the end was very surprising and my heart broke for everyone involved. I like that Brooks had to grovel a little to win her back, I fully support a good grovel and I finally swoon with their HEA. This book is so good! Can’t wait to read more from this amazing author.

Confession: I got this book completely based on the cover. I thought the cover was so pretty and little did I know I was about to read some erotica, which is pretty high up there on the steam scale.

Despite the extreme steam level, which was the main focus of this book, the characters were well developed and fierce. It was an easy read with a fun twist at the end, but really not something all probably pick up again. Erotica becomes more about the sex and less about the plot, which is something I’m really not into. All in all, an easy, well-paced read for anyone who loves lots and lots of steam.

Alexa runs a successful auction business that matches wealthy men with innocent women. When she is approached by Brooks to hold an auction where the men and woman change places, she is intrigued both by the idea and the man who presented it.

Brooks is a man who has an ulterior motive as he believes that Alexa has the answers he desperately needs. A little subterfuge will give him the opportunity to find out if Alexa is friend or foe, but she was supposed to be a means an end and not someone he was attracted to.

A few surprises and a whole lotta heat as in the end they get what they were looking and what they weren’t looking for in each other.

I'll admit the cover grabbed my attention and the blurb wasn't to bad either.

This book was smoldering hot with a rather surprisingly good storyline.
The main characters were both alluring which always is a plus yet the author did not make it perfection. There are secrets, addiction and heat. All which earn an A+ from this reader.
I have not experienced the other books in this series and still found it very easy to follow.
I look forward to reading more from this author.
