What a sweet little book about training a puppy and the hard work it takes and the reward you get for perseverance. I think this is a great book for kids about the responsibility of having a pet dog. Plus the illustrations are just too cute!

I LOVE this book! It reminds me of my own hard-to-train but much beloved freckle-faced dog. Little Candace adopts a puppy and tries to be the best dog mommy ever. I very highly recommend this to all animal loving children.
