I really loved this story about the 4 sisters this book concentrates on Alisha and Hailey. This one centers around Alisha's wedding. There is an introduction to this series called Christmas Sisters that you should read prior to reading Christmas Kisses by this author and the rest of the series.

A quick, enjoyable read that has me asking for the next book !

Hailey is a librarian and a children’s book author but she keeps that a secret. Her past issues as a foster child and trust issues Keep her for telling anyone. Nick is a rock star who has moved back to Granite Ridge. Hailey and her family go to the resort to celebrate her sister’s wedding except it has been called off. They decide to go anyway since its paid for. This book is a sweet romance. You root for Hailey and Nick. This book is part of a series from different authors who each write about each sister. It can be read as stand alone but I will read the other books to see what happens. Thank you to NetGalley and Wild Quail Publishing for the E-ARC. This is my own opinion.

I loved the unique and interesting premise of a children's book author and assistant librarian, and the uncle of one of her biggest fans hitting it off and falling in love, especially in the lovely Christmas setting. Readers who enjoy following a group of sisters will be pleased with this group of adult sisters who grew up together in foster care, and their foster mother.

Some of the dialog and the plot points did not ring true or realistic to me.

A short festive read.
Hailey is an author who publishes under a pen name, and Nick is a musician who loves the books she has written. Will she trust him enough to tell him?

I received an ARC from NetGalley, Judith Keim, and the publisher. for an honest review. There is so much to love about this book. In the first book of the series, Christmas Sisters, we meet Maddie. Maddie lost her husband and daughter in a car accident. As the holidays came closer Maddie decided she had to keep on living so she decided to become a foster Mom. As it turned out there were 4 girls who needed a home. Maddie welcomed all four of the girls.
In book 2 of the series, Hailey is all grown up. I love the fact that we are going to get to see what happened to the girls. Hailey's journey shows us she went from a scared little girl, who always tried to be invisible to creating a life of kindness and love. She became a librarian and her love for all the children, she was wonderful at it. She read to them during story hour, and she read them special Charlie books.
I sensed a hesitation with other adults though and I asked myself while reading, I wonder if she will find the courage to see herself as everyone else does. For you to find out, you must read the book. I will let you know, even though it is a Christmas book, there is a whirlwind of activity in the community that will take you to different areas in this town. Sometimes out in the cold, sometimes sitting by a nice cozy fire, and sometimes they are just having the time of their lives.
They say Christmas but they are books for 2020 because so many of us have had setbacks this year and these books helped me realize that I had to keep moving and I did have the courage to move on. It was uplifting mental therapy. Thank you for this wonderful series.

Thanks to Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Hailey Kirby plans to spend time at Cedar Mountain Lodge with her family for her sisters wedding. While there she meets Nick who she likes. This book was very well written and tugged at your heart strings. I cant wait to read her next one.

Her family is spending the holidays at Cedar Mountain Lodge, where her sister, Alissa, was supposed to get married to Jed, but he called off the wedding. Hailey has a crush on Nick, since childhood, will this be her Christmas to remember. I loved the characters in this book.
