Hollywood Double is another great addition to the Hollywood Name Game Series, and when I got the story I didn't realise it featured Keely, who has always been on the periphery of the previous stories, so that was a nice surprise. And her romance with stunt man/acting double turned actor Mac was great. Although, like the previous stories, everything romance wise does happen very quickly, and even after four books, I'm still not sold on that aspect. But honestly, it never stops me enjoying them, as the characters are great, the stories easy to read, and I like that, there is always a bit of mystery and suspense thrown in, and this time it packed more of a punch, and was certainly very entertaining. And frankly the more I read, the harder it became to put this story down.

Would happily recommend.

This book was an ok read for me, it had suspense, drama, action, and definitely had some steam to it! The only thing I didn't like that much was it was Insta everything! It seemed a little rushed together and everything moved really fast! But like I said it still was a decent read! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

Hollywood Double by Alexa Aston a five-star read that gives you double the love. This is number four in the Hollywood name game series, each on can be read as stand-alone as they all tell a different couples story’s but they do pop up in each other’s stories and you will want to know more about them all, but you can start anywhere. This has been one of those series that has just blown me away, I have loved hearing more and more about all of the characters and watching them interact with each other, each one gives a little extra part of a large world that I was so happy to immerse myself into. Mac Randall is just super yummy, he is strong and manly in such a tasty way, there is just this amazing depth to him and you know he has such a story to tell the minute you meet him, he really does come across so well on the page. Then we have Keeley Kennedy who will light up the page much like she does the screen she is portrayed on, she herself hasn’t always had it easy, but she still has a strength that will keep her going. This story and series are just so compelling and will just keep you hooked all the way through. Thank you Alexa Aston for being an amazing writer.

Hollywood Double is the fourth novel in this profoundly moving and interesting series by Alexa Aston. I don’t know how she manages to outshine each previous episode with the next in her series, but she does. This one is a truly remarkable love story as well as an amazing look into the Hollywood movie industry. It’s also a murder mystery as well as an extortion crime. Try wrapping all that into an entertaining and witty read!
This is the story of Keely Kennedy, a marvelously talented actress and Mac (Mackenzie) Randall, ex-soldier and stunt man/actor.
Keely has pretty much given up on love and concentrated on her career, after several attempts at love that resulted in a broken heart and dreams.
Mac was a soldier and married young, but his army nurse wife was injured by a bomb, then betrayed him in the worst possible way, then dies of cancer. He’s tired of fighting and stumbles onto a career in doing stunts on movies. He’s given up on women and love not looking to change that.
They meet, quite by chance and sparks begin to fly! When the male lead in a new movie Keely is in is murdered, opportunity presents itself for Mac and the game is afoot!
A familiar cast of characters from the previous novels lend a wonderful family and professional feel to the plot as it twists and turns in unexpected and dangerous ways.
How does Alexa Aston manage to write such exciting and yet romantic stories with such profoundly heartfelt themes? God, I wish I knew. This talented storyteller is a master of her craft and continues to astound me with each new novel. If you haven’t read this series…what the heck are you waiting for? It simply doesn’t get much better than this.

I loved how easily the dialogue flowed between Mac and Keely. When you know, you know. That seems to be the motto for this book. I enjoyed it very much.
