A very well written story about two people who have been hurt in the past and coming to grips with the hurt they’ve experienced. I loved Lilian and Trey, and really believed in their relationship despite the 8 year age gap, the author put a lot of barriers in their way but they overcame everyone and learnt to believe in each other. The story of Piper who died, has gotten more interesting and I believe the teacher who has moved the island might know more than he’s saying. Can’t wait for the next one

***Finding You (Drake Island Book 2) is about soulmates that finally meet when she is over forty and he is a thirty-three year old millionaire. The author does a good job expressing their internal thoughts, thankfully in a way that doesn’t drown the reader in angst. There’s an undercurrent of mystery surrounding the unexplained death of a co-Ed because the local college has reopened the case. The story moves along at a nice pace but this reader didn’t find it an unputdownable book. I would give it 3 1/2 stars if I could. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley.

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. This is the second book in the Drake isle series. Sparks fly when Lillian who is a single mother of twins meets Trey who is enjoying his carefree lifestyle. THis book was well written and i cant wait to read the next book in the series.
