What a teaser of a sample! I’m being excited for this book to come out. I’ve enjoyed the characters since book one and I’m ready to see the final conclusion. I love that this is told from all four perspectives, too.

This stunning Finale to a trilogy of a retold story is just as exciting as the first two books in this series, We see a questioning of leadership in both kingdoms that are both preparing for war. With old characters brought back and new ones making their appearance it is what will look to be a great finish to the stories of Rhen, Harper, Grey, and Lia Mara. Brigid Kemmerer is definitely on the top of the list for favourite fantasy writers and shows great skills she brings in the inner secrets of this fantasy world are brought further into light. I was so entranced by this novel that I just could not look away.

Omg I can’t wait for this book, this Advance is the best. I really love it. And I’m very nervous.
I can't believe that this is the end of this wonderful trilogy and it makes me a little sad, but I know it will be a spectacular ending.

This book is the concluding book in an epic trilogy written By Brigid Kemmerer. So far, I have read the first 30 pages and it has hooked me back into the story in a cliffhanger ending from the excerpt. I cannot wait until January to find out how this book and series ends!

Ugh, this sample is just a tease! I need the whole book!! I have loved this whole series, and I am so excited about this final book. The structure of this series has been great with the first story focused on Rhen and Harper's perspectives, the second book focused on Grey and Lia Mara, and now we get all four perspectives in the last book. I love all four character perspectives and just cannot wait to read this book in its entirety!

First of all, I have to admit that I could not believe my luck that I was approved for this extremely popular sequel of the Cursebreakers series! Even if it was just the excerpt!

And suprise, suprise, I absolutely loved every reading moment of it and made me even more excited to read the entirety of the book in a couple of months.
We follow the perspectives of Rhen, Harper, Grey, and Lia Mara.

Even so, there could be more in the book, but we know that get at least these 4 perspectives. Although I am not usually a fan of second person writing, I think it works well with the author's style.

Lastly, even in those four chapters we get to experience a cliffhanger! Talk about the tension!

While this is only an excerpt, I cannot wait to finish it! This series grabbed me from the beginning with the dynamic between Rhen and Grey. The struggle for what is good for their country, what is good for their friendship, and even themselves. I’ve recommended it to several of my students and will continue to do so.

ALL FOUR PERSPECTIVES? I'm in love! With each installment of this book, I keep wondering who will be the main focus of the story. Bridig Kemmerer really delivered by allowing us to follow all four main characters in the final installment of the trilogy. This sampler made me even more excited than I already was for the 3rd and final book in this series!

I can't wait to get back into the world of Emberfall!

In the third book in the “Cursebreakers” series we find all four characters in the new reality after scuffles in book two. Grey is trying to prepare himself to attack Emberfall with Syhl Shallow and Lia Mar. Rhen is haunted by Lilith and unhappy with his relationship with both Harper and Rhen. Harper is stuck in the middle of all of these stronger forces. And Lia Mara is trying to rule with all her mother’s strength but not her cruelty. And we even get a cliffhanger!
I have high hopes for the characters in A Vow so Bold and Deadly and look forward to the full novel on January 26th!

Can we first start off by noting that The Cursebreakers series is quite possibly my guilty pleasure of 2020?

After devouring the first 2 publications within mere days, I had extremely high expectations for the third book. I was not disappointed!

With the same attention to detail and gripping creativity, Kremmerer brings the world of Emberfall back to life.

My only dilemma now is waiting until January to read the rest!

So this is only a excerpt of the book, but super excited to actually read it when it comes out in January!! I like that we were given the first chapter from each of the characters narrating. Not too much else to say since there were only a few pages...but I can’t wait to read it!

“A Vow So Deadly” arc was provided by NetGallery. From this excerpt, it draws inspirations from A Court of Mist and Fury, Harper is uncomfortable with Rhen meanwhile he does little to acknowledge that. All of the POVs are pushing themselves to do things that they do not want to do which leaves them very conflicted and confused. Time will tell but from this excerpt, it was a little confusing to follow along with all of the POVs being directly submerged into what they’re doing and how much they hate doing it.

Just an excerpt but what a way to start the final installment! I was hooked from book one and cannot wait for this to come ou!!
