You know, when we are really craving to eat something, and we take a small bite of it thinking that it might satisfy us for a while but instead it increases our craving for it by tenfold? Yeah, that's exactly what happened with me for this book!

I loved this so much! I loved that this final book is having all our 4 main characters' pov. The story looks so promising, it got me guessing about what would happen next, and I cannot wait to find out more! Honestly, my desire to read this book has increased a thousandfold now!

So many things have changed since the first book. I loved seeing how Rhen and Harper's relationship is progressing. I liked that it was portrayed realistically. Due to the things that happen in the second book, there's a sense of unease between these two and I liked how well it was represented. There are tensions in every relationship, there's a tension between two kingdoms. The stakes are too high, and I just want to see how things will fall in place at the end.

Super excited for this! Will definitely recommend this to everyone!

I'm glad the first few chapters gave a bit of a recap and we get to see where each of the main 4 characters are. I'm very excited to continue reading this series to learn what happens between the characters and kingdoms.

Its so amazing and i can't wait to read the full book! I got the first book in this serie in a bookbox through Fairyloot and i fell in love with it. Its just such a wonderful story and can't wait to read the end of it.

The first chapters from each character's point of view has me already hooked to see how this will all play out. The ending of A Heart So Fierce and Broken left a lot of things open ended with many wrongs to right. The character I liked the most is now one I can barely tolerate and vice versa. I am excited for this release and can't wait to review the full story.

I’m so excited for this book! The first two were both 5 stars for me! These four chapters definitely intrigued me! Some of the phrasing seemed a little awkward, but I’m sure that will be fixed in edits!

Wow! What a cliffhanger!
This was a chapter sampler titled, “A Vow so Bold and Deadly” which is the upcoming sequel, and final book to Brígid Kemmerer’s series, “A Curse so Dark and Lonely.”

I enjoyed the previous installment so it’s no surprise that I enjoyed this as well.

Though it appears we skip around a bit, I really enjoyed the characterization of our cast of characters, and especially that of Harper and Grey’s.

In addition, I was also a fan of the interwoven courtly intrigue, romance and fantastical elements.

This series is sure to appease longtime fantasy readers and those just getting into the genre.


I will eagerly be awaiting the final installment!

This review is of a 4 chapter sampler on NetGalley. I personally enjoyed AHSFAB but I know many had a hard time with the character shift. I think the big question remains whether Harper can be redeemed in the final book. I’m definitely interested to see how things wrap up. There’s a whole lot that needs to happen to do it justice. The sample is promising. Harper is working through her decisions and what happened. The men are gearing up for war.

Brilliant taste of what is to come. Now it is extra hard to wait for the conclusion. This series has been one of my favorite fairy tale retellings.

I NEED THE WHOLE BOOK RIGHT THIS SECOND. This little excerpt left me wanting more and when the book comes out I will totally be first in line!

OH MY GOSH! WHAT A TEASE! Wow, this was incredible even though it was short. You see all the perspectives from all the characters and I was immediately hooked after reading each chapter. I was already excited to read the next installment but now even more so!

I will be IMPATIENTLY waiting for the final book! Hurry up and release it now...please!

A promising start. This is an excerpt, but I am excited to learn more. I assumed this was not a full book, but perhaps it should have been emphasized more.

I cannot wait to get my hands on this book to read it in full! I love that we were given the first 4 chapters of the 4 main characters, rather than just chapters 1-4! I didn't think that would be the case! I can already see dilemmas forming between the characters, and a lot of room for growth!

Guys, may mention on the title that its just an excerpt! so disappointing being approved thinming its an early arc for it only to be 4 chapters

If anyone who is a fan of Brigid Kremmer's A Curse SO Dark and Lonely series, knew if anything was good for them, they would totally steer clear of this excerpt for not wanting to completely destroy themselves in having to actually wait until they get their hands either on the full ARC or published book!

Not only is this excerpt amazing as always, but now I find myself going back and starting the whole series over again just to prepare myself!

This chapter sampler honestly felt like returning home That being said, now that I have gotten to dip my toes into the fabulous world of Brigid Kemmerer, I NEED MOREEEEEEEE, 4 chapters simply was not enough!

This is one of my favorite fantasy worlds and Bridget captured me from the very first book. As an avid reader and staunch fan (a nicer way of saying stalker), I could not contain my excitement for the return of this beloved series. While I am sad to see it end, I know the story will live on in the hearts of fans everywhere!

I cannot wait to read the full-length novel to see how the war progresses and see the story through the eyes of these amazingly bold and phenomenal characters
