Yay the next book in this series! I read both the first two this year and was so excited to get this chapter sampler. Not a lot to go off yet but I am excited to see all 4 view points. I was really missing Harper & Rhen last book so I really hope they are more prevalent in this one. Cannot wait to read the full book next year.

I loved this excerpt and I can't wait to read the full book! I am excited to see how Rhen deals with Lillith, if Grey and Rhen get over themselves and come together, how Lia Mara grows into her role as queen and how sweet Harper deals with all of the craziness.

I have just finished reading the extract of A vow So Bold and Deadly and all I can say is I want to read more! I have never read anything else by this author before but she has been recommended to me. I was not disappointed. I can't wait to read the rest. 5 stars. i have a feeling this will be a real page-turner. Thank you Brigid Kemmerer for a great book and thank you Net Galley for allowing me to review it.

I read the previous 2 books last month and when I saw this sample, I just could not resist.
I devoured the 4 chapters in no time and I got a glimpse of the book and how it will unravel. I loved the previous two and the story is so familiar but so different at the same time as well! The way the author writes makes you feel like you’re living in the story. I cannot wait to read the whole book and to go back in Emberfall!

I just can't wait to get the whole book in my hands! Thank you netgalley for letting me read this excerpt. I am dying to finish it up!

While this was only a portion of the third book in the Cursebreaker series, it has reignited my love for some of these characters.. A Curse So Dark and Lonely, was such a surprising new favorite.
In this third installment, we are going to be following some of our most loved characters fight one another. That is one of the MANY things, that make this series a must read for any fantasy lover.
I find it hard to review a book that is a third in the series, without speaking of spoilers, so I warn you now, if you read further, you will be spoiled from the first two book.
We are following Harper, a girl from DC that was brought into this other world, to break a curse. After the curse was broken...the story did not end. (Thank goodness!)
Now that the curse is broken, two brothers fight for what each think is right. One has an evil presence by the name of Lilith that tormenting him. He can not share this, and it torments him.
There is a bit of a love Triangle, which I AM ABSOLUTLEY in love with.
Brigid had done a fantastic job with world, and character building, that nothing has felt rushed or INSTA LOVE!
Grey, is my favorite character! Uhhh I love this character so much. While I have a connection with characters on both sides of this new "war". ; Grey is by far the one I root for. I want good things for him.
If you like retellings, magic, fantasy, twists, and turns...You will love this Series! PICK IT UP!

OMG!!!!! I am super excited for the rest of this book!!!!! I started reading Kemmerers series during lockdown and am now craving more! January 12th come already!

A Vow So Bold and Deadly (Cursebreakers #3) by Brigid Kemmerer is one of my most highly anticipated books of January. I've greatly enjoyed the first two installments and this four chapter sampler is a fantastic taste of what's to come. It was great to see a little from each of our leading characters - Grey, Rhen, Harper, and Lia Mara. Honestly, I'm in this story for Grey. He's been my favorite from the beginning and I doubt that will change here. I'm also looking forward to seeing a little more of the wider world of Emberfall and beyond. Just based on this sampler, I have a feeling this novel will be brilliant.

This four chapter sneak peek of A Vow So Bold and Deadly is teasing of the best kind. The four characters who are introduced are well defined, making me desperate to continue the story.

Kind of upset because no where in the title or description does it say this is only a sample of a few chapters, so I thought I was getting the entire book...
But it's a promising start to a series I absolutely adore. Release day can't come soon enough!

I absolutely cannot wait to read this book. The sample only hints at the high stakes adventure and battle to come! Each character is preparing to fight. They are ready to fight for what they believe. They are also each fighting a war within themselves, trying to figure out who they are and what they want to become. The stage is set and the war is about to begin! I can hardly wait.

Wasn’t aware this was a sampler until I started the book so that’s annoying.
But I’m not sure how I’m feeling about this. I like multiple POVs but it’s feeling a little too close to ACOTAR to me. I guess I’ll just have to see how reviews are once the book actually comes out.

Seems interesting.
As someone who hasn't read these series it definitely makes me want to read them now!
Definitely keeping this on my radar.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for this excerpt!

Just to confirm, I did complete the arc of about 1/4th of the book that NetGallery provided, but I have not finished the book, as we were not provided with a complete arc.
So far, this is screaming A Court of Mist and Fury to me. Harper is with Rhen but is feeling uncomfortable with it, and uncomfortable with their relationship, continuing the sort of RETCON of his character we saw in book 1.
Grey is conflicted. Rhen is conflicted. Everyone is hurdling themselves into a war that they don't really want to do to, confusing duty with their own selfishness. Theres certainly a lot of juicy moral ambiguity here, yet at the same time, it feels all too recognizable and deeply mirrors the ACOTAR series that it was heavily inspired by. Time will tell, I suppose.
The second person present tense is still frustrating to read, the additional of multiple POVs (up to 4 now) is satisfying, and I still have extremely complicated feelings about this series.

Another book request were “sample” is not included which is always upsetting to see.
“A Vow so Bold and Deadly” brings us to the finale of this fairytale retelling where the stakes have never been higher and with additional point of views it’s sure to be a gripping story with a thrilling conclusion.
I have to behind with noting that this sample was difficult to review due to formatting issues where lines were either missing or in a bright yellow font despite attempts to redownload and switch the method in which I used to read it which is disappointing but thankfully this was not the complete book so I didn’t feel as though I missed out on much.
There’s not a lot to digest here with only three chapters so it’s just a tease for what’s to come which I’m excited for by my previous reads and all this manages to accomplish is set the early mindset of our three leads and what that could mean for their journey moving forward.

I can't wait to get my hands on this book! The first two books in the series are so well loved and I've been looking forward to this one for awhile now. Brigid Kemmerer is an auto read author for me, I think her writing is so captiviating! I am sure this one will be no exception!.

I enjoyed this excerpt, and appreciate the quad perspectives; however, I’m uncertain where the story is going to go from here! I have high hopes.

I swear sneak peeks will be the death of me.
In my next life I'd like to be able to wish full books to life :P
Can't wait to get this in my hands.

I completely adored this chapter sampler! I am waiting on the edge of my seat for A VOW SO BOLD AND DEADLY to finally be released. I'm also very glad we are getting all the perspectives in this final showdown between Syhl Shallow and Emberfall. This sampler really sets the scene for the book, and I could not be more excited to return to Kemmerer's vibrant world of magic and love!

A great preview of this book! I loved the first two in this series, and I can't wait to get the full third book!
