A little gem of an erotic romance
I loved watching Madelyn find herself both as a sexual woman and a fiercely independent woman after years of a bad marriage
Steamy love scenes sweep you into the story
I wouldn’t say there were any unexpected twists or turns but a satisfying unfolding of a love story

No one reads books like this expecting them to be too credible and this is indeed escapism at its finest. Hot, funny and fast paced, this is a perfect book for an afternoon away from reality.

This was a brilliant, fast read, and I really enjoyed it. Each character felt easily recognizable in the story dialogue as their established character profile and character traits stood out. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Just loved reading this story.

A newly, finding her new life path mum and divorcee meets a high rolling divorced actor, through a muddled email connection and develop an online supportive, chatting friendship.

Coincidentally they meet in person, are attracted to each other and form a happily, mutually attracted, evolving relationship.

Through a sexy, supposedly obscured video call, he can see her and realises to whom he has been connecting to online and in person.

This is a very sexy, amusingly happy read, with it pushing boundaries in person and online, throw into the mix, a new business and dishonet, unstable, jailed ex-wife and it certainly makes an entertaining read.

With a happy ever after ending in this romantic story of love, happiness and commitment.

This was a brilliant, fast read, and I really enjoyed it. I saw the blurb and liked that it was very real, with people who weren’t perfect and were just looking for what was right for them. Overall, a great and fun read. Definitely lovely for a winter read, to keep you warm and having fun.

I enjoyed the character development of this story. It is not one of those flat one-sided stories where there is no character development or twists and turns. For a book of this genre, this is very uniquely written.

A steamy romance set in New Haven, CT featuring Madelyn, a recent divocee, who relocated from the Midwest and Bremwood Lockwood, an actor from England, who has a house there for use during downtime, and we can’t forget Easton216, the online chat partner of Madelyn.

I enjoyed reading about Madelyn setting up her new bookstore, one of my favorite places to visit, and how she was rebuilding her life and gaining back her confidence after a soul crushing marriage and divorce. The romances were definitely descriptive and eye popping. While the premise of the book was easy to guess, it was still fun to read. I was surprised by something that happened near the end.

My only gripe with the book is the author not doing her research about New Haven. It’s my hometown and the inaccurate descriptions about it being a quiet place, a village, small sleepy town took away from my enjoying anything written about the area. Anyone in CT knows New Haven is a city and it’s certainly not quiet or sleepy.

Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC!

I loved the plot of this story A LOT!!!

I felt so bad for Madelyn and wanted everything for her! I was totally invested!

Easton 216 and Bremond both gave her different things. Can she have both? Does she want both?

I enjoyed this book so much, I didn't want it to end!

I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

This book held so much emotion and growing for both main characters. We read from the heroine's side and watched as she struggled with each decision and how it went against her previous experience with emotional abuse. Add in a bit of excitement with crazy letters and how that plays out. I thought it was a great story overall. The romance between the characters, the text/online romance was sweet and it was nice to see the happy ending. #typedirtytome #netgalley

I was given an ARC of this novel, but all opinions are my own.

I requested this book because I thought the title was fun and promising. I really did enjoy how the author tackled healing from emotional abuse. I loved the theme of her finding herself again and realizing her dreams of opening a bookstore.

However, this book sorely needed an editor. The word choices were bizarre and inconsistent. It seemed like the author wasn't sure what she wanted her character to sound like and flip-flopped between styles. I also felt that the plot was quite unrealistic at times.

The romantic male lead for me was a major miss. I did not enjoy being told he was charming rather than being shown by his actions. He would tell her he respected her choices but seemed to bulldoze her into doing what he wanted especially when it came to intimacy.

The sex scenes were filthy but not in a fun way. I felt like I was hearing too much detail in ways that were uncomfortable. For example, I heard about their "liquids' more times than I care to count. It was off-putting and strange. I did however enjoy the phone scene, that was well-written.

In conclusion, I thought the novel had a lot of potential and if it had been revised a bit and edited better could have been a win for me.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

From a book with such a title, I was expecting something way dirtier and definitely more dirty texts. The novel tells a story of a divorcee Madelyn Stacilli, As soon as Madelyn’s divorce is
finalised, she moves to New Haven, where she meets an A-list British actor, Brem Lockwood. The plot was a tad too predictable to my liking, at some points, the dialogues between Madelyn and Brem were a little awkward, and some of the actions that were taken by the characters were just… pointless. Some things were unfortunately very obvious from the very beginning of the read, and the drama at the end was just unnecessary.

While I felt that the title was a little deceiving as there really wasn't much "dirty typing" taking place, I really enjoyed the love story of Brem and Madelyn. After years in a loveless marriage, Madelyn breaks free, moves and opens her own bookstore. Brem is an A-list Hollywood actor that has recently gone through his own divorce. The two meet on a walk one day and instantly have chemistry, but Madelyn is torn because she also has made a connection online with Easton216. Her online friend supports her emotionally and has been with her through her divorce, but Brem is right next door and always willing to help Madelyn out. Which will she choose?

Type Dirty to Me by Roxanne D. Howard was a great 5 star read.

After 20 years of a not so great marriage Madelyn is moving forward. She has gotten a divorce and is finally following her dream. She has also been chatting with Easton216 online, she met him by accident and they have gotten to know each other but never in person. Madelyn also meets her new neighbor and he’s hot, charming and when she finds out who he is she’s not sure what to think. As they get to know each other Madelyn also continues talking to Easton216 as well. Brem offers to help Madelyn with her bookstore opening Things take a scary twist when she starts getting threatening notes. There is so much more to this read. We get several steamy moments as well.
I look forward to reading more from this author.

I liked this book, although it did wind up being what I thought it would be. There were some surprises though. Madelyn just got divorced after 20 years with an emotionally abusive husband. She’s been having an on line friendship with a man for a month. She then meets Brem, an actor, and neighbor and they hit it off. She goes back and forth between feeling ok with having feelings for both men and feeling like she betraying them. She decides to go one way and see how things pan out.
I liked how she and her man got to know one another and although they moved fast, they also took time to get to know each other. There’s some issues with their pasts and some suspense, but over all a good love story with a hea.
I received an arc from Netgalley for my honest opinion.

I am in love with this book. I just read it in one sitting. I love that there wasn't that fight or misunderstanding wich is present in 90% of romance books.
When they got to the hiccup, they resolved it by talking.
The main characters are so lovely, they are the whole book. I just love the idea of second chance for life and love. And this is a hot read. 4 stars for me.

Madelyn Stacilli is newly divorced and working on opening up her dream book store called, Book Nook. She is secretly speaking/emailing with Easton216 online and trying to stick with her rule of full anonymity. While trying to abide by this rule she meets her neighbor, Bremond Lockwood an a list actor. As the opening of Book Nook gets closer, Brem offers to help and things with Easton216 get steamy. How is a girl to choose?

Roxanne D. Howard delivers a very entertaining read with dreamy characters and a great story line.

TALK DIRTY TO ME IS A BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY WHERE BOTH CHARACTERS HAVE A SECOND CHANCE AT LOVE. MADELYN WAS IN AN UNHAPPY MARRIAGE THAT LEFT HER BROKEN AND HURT. HER EX-HUSBAND PUT HER DOWN AND MADE HER FEEL USELESS AND UNWANTED. MADELYN MOVES TO NEW HAVEN TO START OVER AND OPEN HER OWN BUSINESS. SHE IS TRYING TO LEARN TO BE CONFIDENT AND FIND HERSELF AGAIN. SHE MEETS HER NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR, BREM WHO IS VERY HOT ACTOR. BREM KNOWS WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE IN AN UNHAPPY MARRIAGE. AS BREM AND MADELYN GET TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER, THEY DEVELOP FEELINGS FOR ONE ANOTHER. MADLYN FEELS GUILTY THOUGH BECAUSE SHE HAS FALLEN FOR ANOTHER MAN ON THE INTERNET EASTON 216. EASTON 216 HAS BEEN THERE FOR HER WHEN SHE NEEDED SOMEONE BUT SHE HAS NEVER MEANT HIM. WHO WILL SHE CHOOSE?

I LOVED TYPE DIRTY TO ME. IT WAS SUCH AN ENJOYABLE LOVE STORY. THE CHARACTERS WERE WELL WRITTEN AND COMPLEX. THERE IS ALOT OF HURT AND PAIN THE CHARCTERS HAVE WENT THROUGH AND BREM AND MADELYN DON'T TRUST SO EASILY. THE AUTHOR REALLY SHOWED THOSE FEELING THROUGH THE CHARACTERS. I ENJOYED THE BANTERING BETWEEN MADELYN AND BREM. THEIR CONNECTION WAS VERY REAL AND BELIEVABLE AND THE SCENES BETWEEN THEM WERE VERY HOT AND SEXY. THERE WAS EVEN DANGER TO ONE OF THE CHARACTERS THAT BROUGHT MORE TO THE STORY. THIS IS A MUST READ FOR YOU ROMANTIC READERS OUT THERE.

This was an amazing book. Great story lines and great overall plot and summary. Would definitely buy and own the actual book would definitely recommend to read!!!

There is nothing wrong with this book except for the lack of exposition or character development. Type Dirty to Me had little, if any buildup to the romance and the main part I was so excited for, the bookshop, happened with little fanfare and was mostly successful because of the famous guy.
