I read this book and don’t really remember much about it. It was well written and I liked it well enough but the story didn’t grip me as much as others. 

This is not a turn off from the author, just the story. I like for it to be memorable. 

Read it, give it a chance. It may be the story you’re looking for!

The pace was very slow and unengaging. Nothing exciting stood out and it just kind of dragged. I didn't care for the characters and couldn't really get lost in the story.

An ok story about an investigative journalist finding the body of a young woman and taking on the task of finding out about her story. Much relates to drug use/abuse tied in with new (dodgy) treatments for addiction and the extents to which people will go to explore ideas for treatment. Just love it when there is a trilogy. Or as many books as can be with the same theme and characters. You enabled me to feel part of the story and understand what was going on and who with. I also like that it wasn't an Obvious ending and always kept me guessing through the entire book.

Lawyer turned journalist is the main character.  She gets involved in researching a drug rehab after finding a dead body in the house her sister bought via an auction. Andrea is a go getter that just never gives up. She dates a detective so that's helpful. I liked the pace of the book, the length she will go and the cast of characters.  I liked it.

I didn't realise that this wasn't a stand alone book, that it followed previous ones with the same character. However it was an okay read, well written.

This book started out well but really slowed down in the middle.  I liked the main character but there wasn't enough in the story to keep me engaged through the whole book.   It wasn't as good as other investigative journalist books that I've read.

I loved this very much! The characters, the actions and even the plot itself! Very inspiring for my own book too!

This book is the fourth in a series. I think I should have read the others before reading this one. When I decided to read this book I didn't realize it was part of a series. An investigative reporter finds a dead woman in a house bought by her sister. She discovers she has a connection with the woman who is the niece of her partner. The characters are well-developed. The plot is interesting.  Drug addiction, drug treatment, big money, and conspiracies all make the story interesting.

I started this a got about 5% through  and then decided not to go any further,  I just could not get interested in the characters and did not find the story very interesting..

Overall I did not think the book terrible; it just wasn't something I wanted to read..  Since I read so little of the book I thought it unfair to review this online.

There is a readable story in here, but but with a plot suitable only for a short story and a lot of dialogue as filling, it's too boring for me.
