Andrea Davis has the bad luck of stumbling across one of her favorite professors with a note pinned to her chest and one of her legs hanging above her head. The note is written in Old English, and the murder scene is right out of an ancient tale.

She's uneasy when she discovers the leading detective is Brady Lancaster. They have a sort-of past. They had met previously, he had asked her to dinner. She accepted, but then got cold feet and took off without saying anything.

So here he is again... just as dangerously attractive as she remembered.

More bodies turn up ... and they are all murdered in the same manner and a letter left on their bodies relating to an old language. Brady's partner insists that Andrea is a prime suspect.

To prove her innocence, Brady will have to go rogue—before she becomes the killer's next target.

This is a short read, just a tad over 200 pages, but it's also fast read. A typical romantic suspense, it has all the standard requirements .... boy meets girl, girl's in danger, hero saves girl, they live happily ever after. The only thing I found a little unique is Andrea's grandfather.

Many thanks to the author / Wild Rose Press / Netgalley for the digital copy of this Romantic Suspense. Read and reviewed voluntarily, opinions expressed here are unbiased and entirely my own.
