An excellent Christmas themed picture book which isn’t your usual Christmas story. The beautiful pictures are what makes this book utterly irresistible.

This is a lovely book that both myself and my 4 year old son loved.
It is beautifully written and illustrated and the story kept my son's attention throughout.

A bit scattered, I didn't love this Christmas book. The story was fine but not super memorable or entertaining. Plus the type set and page design was not my fav.

This one was just okay for us. It didn’t really keep my daughters attention and I found the illustrations to be kind of blah. Some of the letters were also so weirdly typed that it was hard to tell what they were. Not a bad book, but we won’t be adding it to our Christmas book pile.

A fun holiday read for kids! Go on an adventure with a gingerbread man and read this fun and quirky book! Definitely a great read for kids during Christmas! It might just make you want to build a gingerbread house!

It started out cute, but then it kept going..............
This book kind of went on too long and some of the rhymes weren't that great. The illustrations are cute but I really wanted something about a gingerbread house in a tree like the front cover looks. Oh well. I think some will like this for Christmas but it is not one I will be recommending.

I enjoyed the rhyming story and the pictures were bright and colorful. Some of the pictures looked too computer generated and some of the font used to start the sentences was not completely clear what letter it was. You could tell by context but the S's and Y's did not look like those letters.

I liked the concept of this book, as a sort of obscure sequel to the usual Gingerbread man that has by now driven me mad in the classroom.
I wanted to enjoy the book but I feel it is still a work in progress. While I enjoyed the rhyming couplets and the rhythm of the language, I feel some of the pages were made more as an obligation to that rhythm rather than being a natural progression of the language. I would perhaps consider removing the angry Gingerbread man, calling a child a bore for not making a gingerbread house, going forward... A children's book generally tends to inspires morale or meaning for a child, teaches lessons, or at least makes a child laugh, and in this I feel this book errored.
The images were cute and Christmas's in nature, but some looked a little haphazard and thrown together... For example, the gingerbread house has seemingly been cut and pasted.
All in all, I enjoyed the concept but I think the execution lacks a little finesse and could be improved in further edits.

Perfect little Christmas book, with short snappy rhyming verses, a lovely story and bright colourful illustrations.

This book is beautiful!! Such a lovely title story for kids of all ages, even adults! The illustrations are fantastic and beautifully drawn. This is a prefect Christmas book!

This is a wonderful children's book, which is perfect for this time of the year. My daughter loved this book, which we used as a bedtime story for her. She was very excited about it and she loved the story, characters and the beautiful illustrations, which were magical.

The Gingerbread House Laura Gia West is a very cute story to read to children probably would only take five minutes to read. My children used to like to read many stories quick. The pictures in the book are wonderful.
