Loved it. It was a fresh storyline that I haven’t read before and the romance was excellent. The characters were mature and actually dealt with the problems they were facing in an adult way. I liked that the ex wasn’t portrayed as a bad guy. I found that refreshing. 

The murder plot was really interesting as well. Kept me guessing until the end and I was invested in the characters, especially Gretchen. My heart broke for her.

Both of the main characters were great, but I’m in love with Sienna. Definitely recommend.

Interesting storyline.  Soon to be ex wife, ex girlfriend (sort of) who had son and son. Same man for each. Exes meet and click. Some police murder investigation as well. Liked book well enough but also felt it was a bit anti-climactic as well.

Solid story. very interesting and I very much enjoyed reading it. it was balanced ( thriller and romance)  and I appreciated that, I felt the connection and loved how mature both the character were. everything was good I rarely found something that annoys me. or felt like It was repeated.

Juliet Mitchell is doing just fine. Her career with the Shell Creek Police Department is on track, her son, Declan, is amazing, and for the first time in a long time, life is simple, if unremarkable. Until a dead body is found outside the Shell Creek Library.

Fast read. Awesome thriller book!
