This story made me wish it was summer and it was possible to travel to Kerry and visit the lovely and well described places where the book is set.
This is the third book I read in this series and always loved the light hearted and well written plots.
Each instalment can be read as a standalone even if characters from other novels are featured.
I had fun and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Tara, a photographer and travel journalist, and Kate, a doctor, are two interesting characters: they are strong willed and stubborn, each of them with different life choices and way of living.
Their relationship is not easy and sometimes I felt Kate was trying to impose her vision on Tara and she seems to be a bit too overbearing.
I think this is the main weakness in this book: I love everything but I struggled to understand Kate even if she’s quite a likable character.
Even if it’s a lighthearted story the author deals with some interesting issues like how tourism can change the soul of a place and life choices and dreams.
It’s a compelling and highly entertaining read, I liked the plot and I like how it ended.
I recommend it.
Many thanks to Bookouture and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

This was our 6th visit to Sandy Cove and as always the reader falls in love with the place over and over again with each book. This time we met Kate O'Rourke's twin sister Tara who is a very successful photographer in New York City. As she is sent on an assignment for 'The Wild Vagabond' magazine for the summer to County Kerry, Ireland she gets to spend time with her sister and her fiancé Cormac and falls in love with a wreck. Cois Abhainn farm is falling apart but it holds O'Rourke roots and history that draws Tara in. Tara meets Mick O'Dwyer an actor at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin who seems to have lost his way. Kate works with Dr. Pat who is Mick's father.

Kate is not happy with Tara's assignment, she feels that it will bring hoards of tourists to Sandy Cove. She makes decisions that will affect not only herself but Tara as well. Kate feels that it is okay for Tara to have to give up her dream so that she can have hers come true. She feels that it's okay to force her own dreams on Tara. Kate is livid when Tara tells her that she wants to buy "the wreck" and doesn't want to listen to her sister's dreams. Kate manages to become more annoying as the book goes on. Add to it Mick's mother who is an irritating control freak.

However everything manages to work out and everyone gets their dreams to come true - with some minor adjustments. I'm very excited to hear that there will be 3 more books in the Sandy Cove series. I can't wait for the next trip to Ireland!

As with the rest of this series I really enjoyed this story. The story centers on Kate and Tara. Kate is a Dr. in Sandy Cove and Tara is her twin who is a traveling photo journalist. Her assignment takes her to the less traveled areas and she chooses Ireland. They dabble in their history. Read to see everything that goes. This is a VERY GOOD READ>

Miracles in Wild Rose Bay by Susanne O’Leary is book six in the Sandy Cove series. This is the first book I have read in the series and it could easily be a stand-alone book. This story drew me in from the start. The author is very descriptive with the Irish surroundings and has exceptional details about the characters. The story had a slow but steady pace, that made it easy to read. It is a story of family, love, past family issues, and a little mystery. I found it hard to put down and finished it quickly. This is the first book I have read by this author and I really enjoyed her writing style. I will be reading more book by Susanne O’Leary. I recommend this book and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Thank you Netgalley for providing my advanced readers copy for my honest review.

Tara O’Rourke is offered the perfect job; to take photos of Ireland for a travel magazine. She knows the perfect location - Wild Rose Bay, where her twin sister, Kate works. Yet when she arrives, she is quite surprised by her sister’s open reluctance for her to expose the picturesque location to tourists. Soon Tara finds herself justifying her decision to not only her sister but to Mick O’Dwyer. Despite this opposition from Mick, he helps her research the area and together they uncover a farmhouse that Tara’s family has connections too. The more time they spend together, the more Tara questions whether she will ever be able to return to New York, to the life that she thought was once perfect.
This was an entertaining read with great images conjured of the Irish scenery. I could picture the rugged landscape quite vividly and loved the inclusion of the farmhouse and its mysterious background. I did struggle with the relationship between Kate and Tara, and I could never quite understand the intensity of Kate’s opposition to Tara’s job. Putting that aside, Mick was a great character and I enjoyed how both he and Tara’s past romances, made their relationship all the more realistic.
I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

Photographer Tara O’ Rourke returns to her homeland of Ireland to hunt for idyllic hidden vacation treasure spots for a travel magazine. However, she finds that not everyone is on board to expose these hideaway gems to include her twin sister. Tara and her twin sister Kate who is a local Doctor are usually very close friends and agree on everything.
This time they are not synchronized on whether to let the world know about their village and the close amnesties such as hiking and skiing that would be available. Kate is afraid of explosive tourism ruining the homey feel of the village and they already get enough foot traffic to keep the locals busy.

Tara discovers other things that could hinder her emotions with her project such as a local gentlemen, Mick. Tara has some issues she will need to resolve because her home and base is New York!

This book is a slow start, but it builds to a good read. It’s not a peppy read, but it is a lighthearted read.

I received an advanced copy from NetGalley and these are my willingly given thoughts and opinions.

Thank you to Netgalley, the publishing house and the author for the opportunity to read a complimentary advance reader copy of this book in return for a review based upon my honest opinion.

I really enjoy this series, I like how the background characters are familiar and the scenery is always stunning. This book was an enjoyable quick read. This book centers around Tara, the twin sister of one of the previous book’s characters, Kate, who is now the GP of Sandy Cove. When Tara, a photographer, gets a job offer to do a magazine spread of the hidden parts of Irish coast she snaps up the opportunity; she can go visit her sister and work while she’s there. I was a little disappointed in Kate‘s character in this book, I felt that I really enjoyed her in the last book but in this one she felt a little bitchy. Tara interacts with some of our favourite characters from the past including Mick who I really enjoyed and was very happy to read more about it. The old farm house in this book was enchanting and you could almost smell those wild roses.

All in all, I enjoyed this book and would love to visit Ireland more every time I read one of this series. Can’t wait for the next book of this series.

Finding love and your ancestor’s home in Ireland is the premise of this book.If your looking for a book that has lovely descriptions of the Irish landscapes and even the disagreements are polite this read is for you. There is a little mystery surrounding this ancestral home and it’s owners but for the most part the book focuses on twin sisters finding happiness and love in a small village in Ireland.

A thoroughly captivating book right from the beginning. The book makes you fall in love and weep with the characters. A book so engrossing that you’ll forget time and focus on reading just a few More pages. But when I finished this book, I felt like I lost a friend.

Time to fly to Ireland and to be welcomed by the people of the lovely Sandy Cove where the author has another cracking story in store for us.
In the previous book we saw Kate arriving and … No, I am not going to tell you what happened in case you did not read that one yet. 😉
This time it’s Tara we are ‘stalking’ and see how she deals with all the ups and downs life throws at her.
The author makes me long to visit this part of Ireland once again with her descriptions of the beautiful country side and the sea views. Who does not want to fall asleep while the sea sings them a lullaby? Who does not want to be able to run down a few steps to reach a private beach? Who does not want to find The One? I think a lot of us do and I, for sure, am one of them. 😊
A very enjoyable read, just like the rest of the series. 5 stars

Miracles in Wild Rose Bay is a wonderful installment in the series. Centered on the relationship between twins, GP, Kate and New York photographer, Tara, the book explores more O’Rourke history as Tara searches for the reasons why their grandfather left the area never to return. The impetus is an old photograph and a farm that has seen better days. Susanne O’Leary paints very descriptive pictures of the area, the farm and her characters. This reader was sad when it ended. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book from NetGalley. Most highly recommend.
