This plot has some Hallmark Christmas movie elements: a small town, a building is being sold and business owners are afraid of what will happen, a country singer comes to town and likes the cute cafe owner. But the cute cafe owner is also interested in another guy. For a while, Mia strings both Chance and Buck along, and while she may not want anyone to get hurt it seems almost inevitable and not very Christmassy. Both the male main characters have their point of view and neither one seems a villain or insincere. She has been attracted to Buck forever but he has some emotional issues and is slow to make his move, only taking some initiative when Another Man comes into picture. Chance is braver, more decisive. But sometimes I felt like if she wasn't sure whom she wanted, maybe it was a sign that she should wait and not settle with either one. Mia's father has been abusive in the past so she has to deal with those feelings too. Generally I like stories with holiday mood but this one did not grab me. Some of the narration and dialogue comes across as info dumps and I ended up skimming here and there.

Steam level: Some sexual content, not very graphic.

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. The story was a cute romcom. I am not really into stories where a character has to choose between multiple suitors. But it is a cute easy fast read for Christmas time which is right around the corner.

Mia, a café owner of a small town, and Buck Chance, one of her customers, have been flirting with each other for quite some time. But it doesn't seem like Buck is really interested in dating her, so, when a new visitor in town shows some interest in Mia, she starts to think that it might be time to stop all that flirting with Buck and have a more serious relationship with this new guy, who happens to be called Chance.

Let me just say that all the flirting going on in this book was pretty entertaining, like, their flirting game was STRONG. It was really surprising to me that Mia and Buck could flirt like that and still not say anything about dating for so long.

There's also a lot of other things going on though, like an investor wanting to build a hotel and close some of the town's businesses, or the family drama between Mia and her runaway dad. So there's plenty to keep yourself entertained besides the romance.

I haven't read any of the other books in the series, but I wonder if they're as cute as this one. I love cute Christmas love stories that you can read all cuddled up at home and get all warm inside, and I got that with this book, but it probably would've been better if there hadn't been a love triangle, I actually think it might be the first Christmas romance I've read with one of those.

Also, I wasn't a big fan of the ending, because, even though she stayed with the guy I liked the most (yay! This almost never happens to me with love triangles in books), it felt a little rushed and too lovey-dovey... Like it was rehearsed and they were in a play trying to be this perfect town filled with perfect people, I don't know. But it was cute though.

What a great holiday romance. Small town matchmaking and good home cooking who could ask for more. I haven’t read the other books in the series but I will be now, but I didn’t find it hard to fall into this book. Such great characters and a heartwarming plot.

I looked forward to reading a light Christmas book during such a heavy time. I am thankful it filled the bill, but I cannot say I loved it. I found the plot to be a little simplistic and rushed at the end. In addition, I would have liked some more depth to the characters. It was a simple love triangle story.

Although I didn't dislike it, I just found it to be very average. Thank you NetGalley for an arc in exchange of my honest review.

This was a sweet romance in a small town set in the mountains, with a closeknit community and everyone looking out for each other etc. could have been sickly but turned out better as it included ‘how to choose a man’. And the heroine was not a naïve young girl.

Mia has several men vying for her attention. Back and forth, which is fine, but tended to skim after awhile. Would still recommend though, as kept my interest to the end. An easy Christmas read, and the author leaves you guessing through to the end when she makes her decision. Easy book to read and easy to put down. Would be handy if you want a read while waiting.

I loved this book! It was a perfect light read for the Christmas season. I didn’t realize this was the last book in a 6 book series but it didn’t seem to matter. The author did a good job of telling who the characters were for those of us that didn’t read book 1-5. I really liked the setting in the small town of Azalea Valley. I am not sure if that place exists but her writing made me feel like it did and I was there. The love triangle was a fun twist too. I will definitely read books 1-5 now.

Loved reading the engaging and enthralling romance story. When Chance comes to town, he wants to date the beautiful Mia. While Mia is dating Chance, a man in town, Buck, finally begins showing an interest in Mia. Mia finds herself with not just one man she is interested in, but two. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a must read love story.
I reviewed a copy of the book through NetGalley.

What a sweet book.. good background history and enough Christmas magic to keep you entertained without going overboard. I was a bit disappointed with the ending though and would have liked the book to continue more.

** spoiler alert ** This was a nice cozy Christmas read. It was predictable until the last part where you were left guessing for awhile. It followed the usual plot that these types of books have. It was good it just didn't wow me. I liked the fact that there were two guys and you were constantly wondering who she would end up with. The angst part was a bit rushed and in that moment all 3 of them seemed very immature. Buck seemed lifeless through out and although he was there for her he was very dull. Mia annoyed me too at parts. She forgave her father way too fast for the amount of hurt she made out that he had caused. She also got very defensive when both of the guys found out about each other.....like I mean what did she expect?

Buck has flirted with Mia for two years and still hasn’t asked her out. She is torn when she is asked out and starts to fall for a newcomer from Nashville. This is a heartwarming romance with a great group of supporting characters. I am new to this series and feel that this definitely can be read as a standalone. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
