This is not my preferred genre to read but it intrigued me from the synopsis. Unfortunately I didn't really enjoy it. While I didn't guess the twists, I didn't care about the characters. I wanted to see what the twist was and if there was more than the 1 halfway through. There was but they weren't really gripping as such. It didn't end how I thought it would and I was glad to finish it so I could move on to something else. I didn't connect with the characters or get pulled in so I was left disappointed. At least I did manage to finish it but I wouldn't recommend it. It just wasn't for me.

This book just lacked character development for me. The cover, blub and overall anticipation for the story had me really wanting to love it. Unfortunately, I didn't. Comparing it to Gone Girl is a little ridiculous, because I don't really think any book can compare to that. 3 stars.

This book is labeled as a psychological thriller, however there were parts that overall felt it should be more in the domestic thriller. The writing was well done and the story was good. There were many twists and turns in this book which made me get a little bit of whiplash. Overall I would recommend this book to others, the synopsis and cover art fall into my general interest for books. Would be willing to read more by this author.

I enjoyed this book. Vivian is newly married and life seems perfect, but like all good psychological thrillers, there are secrets, and as they start to unravel you are drawn further into the story.
Lots of twists and turns to keep you turning the pages until the end.

Wow, so many twists and turns here! I couldn't stop reading and was so engrossed. Just when you think you have a handle on what's happening, you're thrown a new curveball. Great twist at the end.

I would rate this book 2.75 out of 5 stars.

This books just overall didn't work for me. The first half of the book was largely better than the second but the story felt basically like a lifetime movie to me - way too over the top.

I love thrillers, this one didn't quite hit the mark for me unfortunately. I didn't find the twists particularly surprising.

The Newlyweds by Arianne Richmonde is a psychological thriller. The story inside is one that is told with a lot of flashing back to past events to catch the reader up on how things unfolded to get to the current timeline.

The day Vivien meets Ashton she knew he was the one for her and that they would someday be married. Vivien knew how to mold herself into Ashton’s perfect wife so she did and caught his eye. But is marriage to Ashton as perfect as Vivien made it out to be in her mind?

The Newlyweds by Arianne Richmonde is certainly what one would call a twisty tale as it’s the type to be revealed in layers. Once you think you would know what was going on the story would switch it up and layer on another side. For the most part I was enjoying the deception but at some point the story began to drag for me as it went on turning this one from excitement to let’s just end this madness ultimately making it just an alright read when finished.

It was ok, but I didn’t love it and it’s not a thriller that I’ll think about long after I finish or remember. It’s unbelievable and over the top at times, boarding on silly. The writing is average and the characters are unlikeable, a problem that a lot of these thrillers face that makes me not care by about 40%. You’ve got to be rooting for something otherwise the high intense scenes just don’t hit right.

Wow, this book was incredible. I found myself wanting to read this book when I was away from it, thinking about it all of the time.
I really didnt know who I believed, what was going on and what was going to happen. I loved how confused this book had me.
Vivian's self pity did annoy me a lot in part and had I not have enjoyed the tenseness of the book so much, her self-pity could have put me off reading it.
But when I look back on the book, I think she was meant to be that way for that reason.
The book was a literal rollercoaster.
I am still thinking about the ending.
What a great book!

Absolutely nothing is as it seems in this book! Just as soon as you think you have it figured out, you get knocked with another twist in the plot! Book is recommended for anyone who loves a book that keeps you entertained until the end!

Unfortunately this book just didnt hit it with me. It wasnt thrilling enough for me. It was slow moving and a bit cliched at times. I liked it but I couldnt say I loved it.

I enjoyed this book A lot it had me guessing back and forth a lot of the time before I truly figure it out what was going on. I read it in two days and I would definitely recommend it. Was a great Thriller

This is the second book I have read by Arianne Richmonde and I love the way she writes. rites. The Newlyweds was about "One marriage. One lie. Two sides to the story" Plus, it was a good read that had me hooked from the very first few pages especially as it was full of twists and turns and very entertaining throughout. It was a great book.

I highly recommend this new book by Arianne.

I liked the sound of this book when I read the blurb, and I was pleased that the book kept the same interest whilst I was reading it.

There were twists and there were turns and I loved that it kept me guessing! Did I figure it out? Just when I think so, along comes another twist.

This is one book you will not want to put down! With so many twists and turns, the end will surprise you!

This was quite a twisted tale with unreliable narrators. I liked how I was continually shocked by the revelations. with the story being divided into two halves. Just when I thought I knew everything the author pulled a rabbit out of the hat. Quite shocking with explosive reveals right to the last page of the book. I love such thrillers.

I am normally not a huge fan of suspense novels, but I really enjoyed this one. It had the perfect amount of mystery that kept me at the edge of my seat. I became fascinated with the characters and was continually surprised. And the ending? Absolutely unexpected. Would definitely recommend this!
