I highly recommend this audiobook for anyone interested in understanding finance and investing, especially for beginners and women. I found the information to be helpful and easy-to-understand. I am not often a fan of audiobooks and am admittedly particular about narrators however I think the author did a wonderful job narrating!

Clever Girl Finance was an easy audio book to listen to. The guidance provided by the audio book was easy to comprehend and follow. I found the information to be useful and something that I can apply in every day situations as well as for long-term investments. It was presented in an easy to understand format where even a novice to financial information could comprehend it. Overall, I felt as though this book was a sufficient and thorough introduction to everything related to basic finance information.

Clever Girl Finance is an great basic investment book for anyone who is new to investing. Bola Sokunbi covers everything you need to know from what is a mutual fund or EFT to what are the different types of brokerages and even the various types of portfolios you can do. She really focuses on simple investment strategies that someone who is not a professional or have the desire to really dig in and learn everything they can about their investments can easily start to invest and grow their money. While this really is there to help new investors anyone could still learn something new from it.

A very good introduction to investing, the author and narrator gives such a friendly non threatening yet informative intro to investing.

An enjoyable easy listen, I would also say it never felt as though the author was under estimating her listeners.

I'm in personal finance and I enjoy reading personal finance books to find recommendations for various situations. I have not read Bola's prior book, but expect to pick up both her books for my gifting library.

I listened to the audiobook of Grow Your Money via netgalley. It is narrated by the author. She seems very relatable, intelligent, and down to earth. I like how she concludes the chapters with actions you might commit to taking, as well as the inclusion of personal stories. Because of the actions and resources she provides, I think the audiobook would with best with the physical book, but a listener will get great information from just the audio.

I would recommend this for anyone new to investing, especially young women.

Clever Girl Finance by Bola Sokunbi is a fabulous novel for those thinking of investing but they just don't know where to start. I really liked the way the author was able to make her readers feel as if anything is possible and really worked to give her readers some female empowerment and the idea of the possibilities to work for their wealth. Coming from a reader who is new to the world of investing I feel the topics discussed are important, and the readers need to know this information while putting their money on the line. Using this book new investors can go from treating investing and the stocks like gambling as the casinos to an educated and informed investment that will likely give the investor some decent returns.

Preparing for the new year, I've already started working on my upcoming new year's resolution of becoming more aware and purposeful with my finances. This audiobook was a handy way for me to ease into the money management game without stress and anxiety that usually surround this topic for me.

I really liked for personal this audiobook felt - the author tells her own story of how she learn to manage her money better, as well as other women's stories, all of which makes this book more relatable and 'doable.' Then, each chapter tackles a different topic: belief systems, affirmations, organization, tracking, net worth, individual bad habits, setting goals, budgeting, etc. This allowed me to listen to just a chapter or two a day and not feel super overwhelmed and panicky.

I highly recommend this one to any woman who feels anxiety around money, such as myself. At the end of the say, everything we do AND peace of mind require financial stability. I only just wish this book was longer and had less of an attitude of "women love shopping."

As someone who has a business-related degree, I enjoyed listening to the audiobook because it was a nice refresher for finance courses I took years ago. For those without a business/finance background, I'd recommend the print copy as there are action items listed in each chapter. This would be a great gift for a high school or college graduate as it talks about investing and budgeting in an accessible, approachable way.

I'm a young professional, age 24, just finishing up my education and entering the workforce. This was a perfect introduction to investing and really taught me a lot in an easily digestible format. Very useful tips and the anecdotes were a great addition as well. I plan to revisit this in the future. I would highly recommend this audiobook to anyone just getting started like myself.

The narrator did a great job of making this somewhat dry information interesting to listen to. The book itself is filled with great information that was easy to digest and Sokunbi left me completely inspired to get myself and my daughters started in investing. There are tons of great tips and she's very down to earth about all of it.

Sokunbi, who narrates the audio version of the book, presents a lot of information in a way that is both accessible and respects the intelligence of the reader. She doesn't dumb things down, but she also doesn't allow things like ETFs and capital gains rates to turn the book into a dry and scary textbook. Sokunbi is relatable, credible, and adept at connecting with the people she advises.

Who is this book for? Anyone (of any age) new to investing. Anyone newly out of school and starting a first job (this is a critical point for learning the basics of having an investment plan!). Would be a great gift to a college graduate.
