This was a fascinating look at how art is influenced by time and war. Beautifully produced and masterfully written, I enjoyed every page I turned and gained a deeper understanding of the confluence between art and environment, retaining history in different forms and the expressiveness of artists during that tumultuous time. This is a book to have on the coffee table and a title to give any history lover as a gift. I highly recommend this title and am thankful I was able to review it.
