My son and I immensely enjoyed Silent Lee And The Side Door Key, so our hopes were high for The Oxford Adventure. Fortunately, we equally liked this second book of the series. The story was engaging, entertaining and delightfully fun for an adult. I believe young adult readers will find many things to love about the characters and their fascinating world. My twelve year old son absolutely loved this book, and he could not put it down for a second. Overall, a great success!

I am so curious about the rest of this series now! If the other books are anything like this one, I am pretty sure I'll have found my favourite series of 2020/21!
Even though I have a feeling that the bees aren't going to be recurring characters, April was my favourite. She was funny, sarcastic and, honestly, a giant bee? Awesome!
The cover was beautiful and I am looking forward to read more about Silent.

High fantasy with great characters that will keep any teen mesmerized. While written for teens this book will keep adults entertained just as much.
