This book was such a surprise. I was expecting a fun romance but what I got was a romance thriller. I loved this story! Huge thank you to Entangled for gifting me a copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was a book that I Really enjoyed this read and I would recommend to others easily, I will be looking out for other titles by this author.

This one didn't really work for me. The characters are very limited. WE only see about four characters and they aren't very complex. The motivations are thin.

“To Whatever End” is a fact-paced romance novel that kept me intrigued with the relationships and mysteries. I would recommend this book to all romance readers!!!

The ending I did not see coming  Could not put down nor did I want to. Truly Amazing and appreciated the whole story. This is going to be a must read for many many readers. Thanks to NetGalley for the digital arc in return for an honest review. I actually give this 3.5 stars, but that’s not an option here on GoodReads. I wish there was a little more to this story; some aspects felt a little rushed, but it was still a good story. 

This was definitely a captivating and quick read. When I first read the synopsis, I was intrigued- and I love how the story wasn’t quite what I expected. It is such a thrilling mystery, and I found myself contemplating and reevaluating all the details constantly through this whole story, trying to piece together the puzzle. 

We don’t have much of a backstory on Quinn’s curse (well her mothers and grandmothers curse too), but it doesn’t much hinder anything, and we do end up finding out a special aspect of their curse as the story concludes. Liv and Griffin are wonderful characters, and Griffin has a bit of a tragic backstory that fleshes out his character beautifully. I pieced together Jacks character quickly but still wished his story and character had more for us in the book, but this was still a great read.

You will pick this up and not put it down until you’re done!

While this storyline was interesting I felt like it wasn’t executed as well as it could be. I still enjoyed the read I was just hoping for more. But also what a stressful thing to experience .. trying to change what you see and. Of knowing which way to do it.. what a struggle

I still recommend this read it just didn’t check all the boxes for me.

What intrigued me to read this book was the concept of a teenage girl with the curse of seeing how her relationships would end. It was an interesting plot twist that had me diving into the book to see how it played out. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed.
Quinn falls into the stereotypical category of “I’m not like other girls so I’ll never find love.” This really annoyed me because I expected her to have these funny stories to tell about her relationships ending. Maybe a friendship ended in a positive way or maybe she found out the guy she liked would cheat on her so she wouldn’t pursue him. Instead, Quinn put herself in this box where she was afraid to have any sort of relationship with anyone. 
Griffin was not my favorite either. He was pretty dull and there wasn’t anything special or interesting about him.
Overall, “To Whatever End” wasn’t for me.

Spectacular unspectacular. A very predictable book from the start, so I had little interest in the characters or the plot. It was exactly what I expected it to be and I was not well entertained while reading. The plot felt flat and was predictable;the chatacters emotionless and flat. There were no surprises and the book left me with more plotholes than a piece of Swiss cheese.

This book was one where I thought it looked amazing when I picked it up, but lost interest almost immediately. It wasn't bad, it just didn't work with me.

First off, I really disliked the characters. Their conflicts didn't feel real, and I got to the point where I wanted them to die, just so this would be over. Quinn made so many irrational decisions, and I just didn't understand her thought processes. Griffin wasn't much better, he was like a stale cracker, there was nothing to remember him by. His only character trait was being Quinn's love interest, which is never a good sign.

Also, the twists in this were very predictable. By the 50% mark, I had guessed the big reveal, and i was just praying I was wrong. News flash, I wasn't. I can enjoy predictable books, but this book needed something to make it memorable, and the twists added nothing.

Finally, I really wish we would've gotten to see more of Quinn's ability. I wanted to know why her family had powers, and how they would affect her life. Instead of seeming well incorporated into the story, they just felt like an excuse to add tension.

This wasn't the right book for me, but other reviews rave about it, so it seems like it has potential!

I liked the idea of the book from the start. I loved the plot; from its likable characters to its creepy ones, there was something for everyone out there. The main character, Quinn, had gone through a lot in life and was struggling to figure out her love life (in general) What really drew me in was when I read the summary and saw that it said she could see the other persons ending, in a way? Like, if she was to ever be their friend, they most probably would die. Her only friend was actually the only person who did not die in their ending and stayed by her side. Her love-interest was told to have died at the very end while saying 'I love you' to her; and that, ladies and gentleman, blew me away. Could the plot have been more interesting? Yes. Could it have been more fast-paced? Definitely. But that overall doesn't make it a bad book. It's super short but is really light and fresh. The author did a fantastic job by making the characters so relatable and release (except for the, seeing other people's ending part) 

Overall, I give this book 3 portals!!! (my version of saying 3 stars)

This is one of those books I enjoyed quite a lot. It is a relatively quick read (@4 hours). It kept me interested and turning the pages. The writing flowed well. The characters were likable (if maybe a little one dimensional). The plot was entertaining (although very predictable <-- I am chalking this up to the fact that there is a tiny cast of characters that made figuring the "mystery" out very easy. The romance was sweet. I am giving it a solid thumbs up as a pleasant way to spend an afternoon..

I really enjoyed this book. I was hooked from the first page! The concept that the author has  created with Quinn being cursed with seeing the end of her relationships was quite interesting and made me want to see how her relationship with Griffin would pan out and if the tragic ending would be brought to life. 
The character of Quinn was really relatable, I just wish that her relationship with Griffin went into more depth. I felt that while they did share a lot with each other about their past I couldn’t get invested into their relationship like I hoped I would. That is why when they claimed that they loved each other I felt like it didn’t stir any emotion from me as a reader. That being said I do believe that their romance was very sweet and a great foundation for new love. 
Lastly, my only other critique would be the ending. It felt a little bit rushed into the last couple of pages. The build up was really going somewhere and Jacks character was really starting to intrigue me as a reader but I don’t know if there were restrictions with the page limits but I felt like it could have gone into more depth and explored so many possibilities with Jacks mental health perhaps as well as how it all impacts the characters’ lives, making Quinn and Griffins relationship grow and learning more about the curse.
All that being said, I really enjoyed this novel and it helped me come out of my reading slump. I get the suspense and the intrigue of uncovering the stalker and what twists I as a reader could uncover with the characters.

This was a solid, enjoyable 3 stars. It was a quick read. I really liked the premise, it was the best thing about the book. The writing wasn’t bad but it wasn’t groundbreaking. Same goes for the characters, they weren’t flat but they weren’t all that memorable, either. The story was incredibly predictable, I mean almost every single about the ending was ridiculously obvious from very early on. I think it could’ve been executed better; the premise could make for a great series even if written well but as it stands, I liked it enough but I didn’t love it.

To Whatever End by Lindsey Frydman is a YA book following Quinn. Whenever Quinn touches someone for the first time, she sees how that relationship will end. Which as you can imagine, doesn’t make a good basis for relationships or friendships.

When Quinn meets Griffin at an art gallery, she’s immediately enamored but also closed off knowing that nothing could ever come of it. From experience, she knows it always ends. However, she can’t help being intrigued by him and when he opens up a conversation and accidentally touches him, she sees their end. Except it’s way worse than she can imagine – he doesn’t just break up with her, he dies.

It’s definitely an instant connection on both sides and Quinn is now set on finding a way to break the curse.

I was definitely interested in the synopsis when I read it, but I was surprised at how much I really enjoyed this. While I anticipated what would happen in the end, I was still very much interested in the story and I found the concept to be refreshing and new – something that’s not that easy in the world of YA books.

I’m a bit curious to know more about Quinn’s ability and the fact that the other women in her family also had similar abilities. It didn’t really cover the backstory there, why they have it, etc.

I would definitely read another story from Frydman and recommend this book to others!

I really struggled getting into this one. I loved the premise but I just couldnt get into the writing. But i ended up really enjoying it and im glad that i ended up pushing through and finishing it.

WHAT I LIKED:
- the concept intrigued me enough to pick the book up

WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE:
- I wanted more exploration into *why* she has these visions
- the fact that Quinn wasn't alarmed when she touched someone and she didn't get a vision
- a really small cast of characters which didn't lend itself to the mystery of who shot Griffin
- at the beginning of the book there was a lot of exposition dumping which could have been written more organically to set up the world & situation

To Whatever End by Lindsey Frydman is a unique young adult love story, and my first book by this author.  Quinn has a gift and a curse, when she touches someone she will see their last moment together.  When Quinn touches Griffin, a young man she attracted to, she sees his death, as he tells her he loves her.  Is there anything she can do to change the outcome? Read this book and find out.  I love the psychic power in this story, which kept me reading.  I highly recommend this book.

To Whatever End is riveting and hard to put down! Although the twists were predictable the story was still very enjoyable. I really liked that Quinn's ability was unique to other books I've read and I absoltuely loved her and Griffin's chemistry. He's an easy character to like and Quinn seems to feel so comfortable with him right from the start. To Whatever End mixes contemporary, suspense, and magical realism into a very intriguing YA book that I highly recommend.
