This psychological thriller is fast paced and a definite nail biter edge of your seater!
Our main character Allie is attacked, mostly on social media. She’s just moved to DC with her husband and son.
The trouble starts at a party and a misunderstanding. A man flirts with her, calling her by an old nickname. The next day, he is found DEAD. The heat turns up on Allie as the police investigate her. How can she explain the weird social media posts that look like they are coming from her?
Soon everything, her marriage, her career, is in jeopardy! As the past comes calling, can she salvage her life? This one raises great cautionary discussions about technology in todays age.

The book was a compelling mystery read, and you just never knew what was happening next! It was a thrilling book, and I will read more by this author in future.

I really enjoyed this book! It kept me guessing and questioning what I could believe or not. I wasn't sure if we had an unreliable narrator which I always love.

A unique piece of this novel that kept me guessing was the title. I wasn't sure how it fit or where the story was going to help it make sense. I really liked that because honestly, the title isn't something I often focus on.

While this was a super entertaining read, some of the storyline did feel familiar. New woman in town is ostracized and made out to be crazy - is she crazy or is she being set up? So much of what happened felt so severe I was shocked how our narrator was being written off (hence the questioning if we had an unreliable narrator!).

I did the audio for this book and thought it was well done.

All in all this was a great read.

No twists and turns. The description gives everything away and I was reading to see if I was going to be surprised but there was nothing there

Imagine for a second that you're starting over in a new place, loving your life and your great career. You're married, having a kid... and then you're framed for murder. How does someone even come back from that?! This book had so many twists and turns, it was almost hard to keep up at times! Not only that, but we are hearing it all from Allie's point of view and she doesn't know what's going on either. I felt the my own anxiety ratcheting up every time something new happened. I was rooting for her and her husband, even though I know that her story sounded absolutely unbelievable. I really got invested in this one and would definitely recommend if you like psychological suspense.

You know you are reading something wicked when it curls your toes! I Don't Forgive You is one of those novels that send you the red flag vibes right away. Cringeworthy till the end, it's a wreck you don't want to witness, but you can't look away.

The blurb already gives the main idea away. Allie, the main character, happily married in the DC suburbs has moved on from a secret past. She meets a man at a party, and it raises the alarm flags immediately. The way he talks and moves to Allie as if he knows her...insistent...flirtatious. When he ends up dead the next day, it won't take long for the police to show up at her door.

The trope isn't new, hacked social media accounts and gaslighting, gossiping neighbors, finger-pointing, and ultimately, a sense of a setup with no one believing the accused.

However, it was done so well, razor-sharp, conniving, manipulative, and messy. That is the real strength of the story. It was executed well and the end had me surprised.

For a page-turning mindbender, give this a try!

I loved how much this one kept me entertained throughout the entire book! I have twelve zillion theories and they kept jumping around and changing and just when I was SURE I had it figured out… I was proven wrong. Great book and I can’t wait to read her next one!!!

This wasn’t a badly written book, but It wasn’t a very engrossing book either. There is really nothing new here. No twists that were unexpected. Simple, predictable characters.
I’m not sure if I’ll have another go with this author, but never say never.

Allie has some skeletons in her closet from high school and they are slowing revealing themselves. Allie and her husband are new to the neighborhood and at a neighborhood party. A man flirts with Allie and then makes unwanted advances. Parts of this were seen by the neighbors. The next day, the neighbor is found dead from being poisoned. Allie becomes a suspect in the case and she believes she is being framed. Someone is impersonating her and slowly revealing the skeletons from Allie’s past as Alexis. A quick read that kept me interested and guessing the ending. I flew through this book.

New house, new job, husband and son are happy! What can go wrong? Don't ever ask that question! For Allie Ross this is the beginning of a nightmare. Who was that man at the neighbor's party who seemed to know her - from her past, he even called her by a name she had tried to erase! Strange but stranger, he is found dead the next day. And yep - Allie is the prime suspect.
This book moved a little slow but the ending was never expected! I enjoyed this read.

I’m a little late to the party on this one but I’m so glad I picked it up.

Allie, a professional photographer, and her family move into an affluent DC suburb. The welcoming neighbors quickly turn into suspicious, accusatory gossips when Allie is the primary suspect in a neighborhood murder. She knows she is being set up, she just doesn’t know who she can trust. I was suspicious of everyone throughout the story and loved that I was guessing all the way through to the end. The twists & turns are plentiful. I enjoyed the ride all the way until the epilogue. I just didn’t think it was necessary or helped the story in any way.

A chance meeting at a neighborhood party turns deadly. When Allie meets a handsome stranger at a party, he gets too close for comfort. When she turns him down, he’s not happy. She gets downright uncomfortable when he calls her “Sexy Lexy” a name she hasn’t been called in years. When the guy turns up dead the next day, Allie is terrified.

Full of secrets, lies, twists and turns, I Don’t Forgive You, had a lot going for it, but somehow, it left much to be desired. While it made my head spin, this book felt a little too soap opera-ish for me. I am however only one reader, thus I suggest checking out other reviews as I I think this was the case of my simply being the wrong reader for this novel.

I struggled to finish this one. The story just seemed long and drawn out. The main character, Allie, was quite unlikeable, making it hard to connect with her.

I Don't Forgive You, an intriguing novel by Aggie Blum Thompson is a fun (if at time unrealistic) thriller read. Allie is married and has just moved to Washington DC with her family. She and her husband, Mark, attend a neighborhood party with their realtor and meet the neighbors. She isn't vibing with the local moms so, Allie ends up in a flirtatious conversation with a handsome stranger. Harmless! Until he mentions an old, long forgotten nickname that Allie used to go by. Allie immediately ditches him. The next day, this dude is DEAD.
Obviously, Allie has secrets in her past. This is a fast-paced thriller that I found compulsively readable. There's lies and deceit and terrible things keep happening. I was on the edge of my seat. If you want to read a twisty thriller with good writing-here it is! Thank you to Netgalley, the author and the publisher for this read. 3.5 stars

I really wanted to love this one. Maybe even satisfied with a good solid thriller. But I was disappointed on both counts.
I even picked up the audio thinking a different format may help me engage. I believe it was even harder to connect with the audio version.
I’ve seen so many positive reviews that I was shocked to have come away as an outlier. Perhaps I was just the wrong reader. I found the main character Allie to be not likable at all. And the group of women in her neighborhood were just downright awful. Became difficult to read.
As much as I love neighborhood thrillers, this one was just not my cup of tea.

This book felt like a mix between Desperate Housewives and Black Mirror and I loved every twisty minute of it . The story begins following Allie recently moved to the suburbs of DC with her husband and son. Allie feels like she doesn’t fit in with the other suburban super moms and is trying to make friends. This leads to Allie and Mark (her husband) going to a neighborhood party where Allie strikes up a conversation with a neighbor Rob who seems really flirty. Allie goes upstairs to the restroom and Rob follows assaulting her in the bathroom. After Allie pushes Rob off him he tells her to stay off of Tinder. Allie has no clue what Rob is talking about upset by the situation she goes home and finds out the next morning that Rob died that night. This is where the story really picks up Allie discovers a fake Tinder account using her picture and a nickname from her past that no one knows about. The story continues to unfold while Allie is trying to figure out who is making these profiles and who framed her for Robs murder or is she really just crazy.

This book was so fast paced I had a hard time putting it down . The story and writing were engaging and you were constantly question if Allie was crazy or who in the heck was framing her. These types of thrillers give me the creeps it’s so scary to think how easy it would be to ruin someone’s life by using the internet. I really liked how this book showed what the victims of these crimes have to go through to prove their innocence and how hard it is to get police to investigate these crimes. This story was very entertaining as well as enlightening as it really makes you question how safe am I being on the internet. This is the first book that I have read from this author but I look forward to picking up more in the future. I would like to thank Netgalley and Forge Books for the opportunity to read this book. This "wine guy" calls her 'sexy Lexi" and tells her to stay of Tinder then if she's not up for some fun. Allie has no clue what he is referring to, but is started by the nickname as it brings back some past experiences she'd rather forget. When that very same man turns up dead the next morning, Allie's world is turned upside down as she becomes suspect #1! The neighborhood gossip mill is in full force and effect making her persona non grata with a lot of the other moms. Her memory is slipping a bit and her husband is worried about her drinking. Her mother may be getting abused in her assisted living Alzheimer's unit and her sister may or may not be being framed for mortgage fraud.

Overall, Aggie Blum Thompson’s debut thriller, I Don’t Forgive You, was good, it kept me guessing who was behind all of the dastardly deeds being done not only to Allie but her mother and sister as well. The social commentary of the dangers of social media and the decisions that you make in your past being able to haunt you forever publicly are definitely relevant in today's world. I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good domestic thriller!

The whodunit was always in the back of my mind. Who was torturing Allie? I knew why, but I wasn't sure who.

Allie Ross was living a suburban life. Her husband Mark, an attorney, has started a new job and they have moved to DC. Her six-year-old son is in a good school and Allie is moving in the right direction as a photographer with the hope of starting her own studio in the near future.

Allie and her husband are invited to a neighborhood party where Allie flirts a little with a man until he calls her by a nickname (Lexie) that she hasn't heard in many years. Then the same man follows her up into a bathroom and tries to have sex with her. She is shocked and is able to escape him but not without her husband noticing something was not right. After taking a shower, Allie only wants to forget the weird encounter.

The next morning, the neighborhood is uproar. A man has been found dead. The man is none other than the same man that accosted Allie in the bathroom. Then, detectives come on knocking and they want to know more about her Tinder app. An app she never downloaded herself despite showing up on her phone.

The more confusing and damaging her life becomes, the more Allie questions who is behind this vendetta and why?

Quite entertaining from beginning to end. I couldn't stop reading it!

Allie was likable and I could feel how desperate she was becoming. I wasn't really happy with the way her husband Mark took things and his lack of support when she needed it but I guess it worked in isolating her even further.

I Don't Forgive You had me guessing to the end which is my favorite type of book.

I know that when Aggie Blum Thompson writes another novel, I won't hesitate to read it.

I Don't Forgive You is a great domestic suspense thriller! I was kept guessing throughout, and even when I thought I had things all worked out I was thrown for another loop. That's what I love in a book, that "wow" factor that keeps your interest going!

Suspense. Mystery. Drama. I find the Allie's actions quite understandable considering the past that she has. The supporting characters, the community, sad to say but it's believable the people would react when Allie was in hot troubled waters. The culprit, though. They could use a bit more involvement. It kind of seemed like instances happened just to deliberately prevent the reader from pointing out who was behind all of it. All in all, this was a good one. Very creepy!
