All of the books in the Lilah Love series have solid mystery, action and don't slag, I would lave more of the romance element. They are a commitment since they can't be read out of order and don't have self-contained storylines.

The killer wants to play a game with Lilah Love. Lilah doesn't play games, she doesn't submit to demands.
I love this serie. It's perfect
A cross between Criminal Minds and CSI, this book has a touch of everything for us crime junkies and Lisa Renee Jones did an amazing job of keeping the suspense up.

Oh Lilah Love why do you do this to me? Book 3 in the Lilah love stories see's Lilah in her new role but with new enemies to find with umbrella man. Be warned these books come in a pair or duet for each case and there are crossovers between duets so really you need to read the series and read it in order. However you won't regret doing so. Frustrated slightly by ending on a cliffhanger but I guess that means book 4 here I come

I feel this author is going to gain a major fan following!! As a massive reader usually by the third or fourth book the stories can start to get a little repetitive or the plot starts to get a little weak but this author is nailing it in each book. Will definitely be adding her to my follow list on Amazon for new releases

Love Authors who write stories about strong female heroines, Lilah is definitely one of those! The story moves at a fast pace which kept me riveted and the chemistry between Lilah and Kane is OFF the charts. I have been following this series and will continue to do so cause I can’t wait for more!!

Love Me Dead by Lisa Renee Jones is the 3rd book in the Lilah Love series. Lilah is an FBI profiler who chased a killer to her home town of the Hampton's. First of all Lilah is not a very likable person, she cusses like a sailor and has a lot of issues, I know I could not be around this person in real life because she never stops, if she is not moving her mind is. This book has non stop action, twists and turns that kept me hooked until the end. In this book Liah is looking for the Umbrella man killer because he makes it rain blood when he kills. Unfortunately this books ends with a cliff hanger, so my next book will by Love Kills to find out who the Unbrella Man is, and I can't wait. I love this books unique story line, and strongly recommend it.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Lisa Renee Jones did not disappoint with 'Love Me Dead' book number 3 of her Lilah Love sextet series. Once again I was on the edge of my seat waiting for whats going to happen next with special Agent Lilah Love and her only trusted friend (and lover)Kane Mendez. I love the action and intrigue with Umbrella man and all the unknown threats coming at this pair. However I think that the f*** word is over used. I understand Lilah Love is a tough relentless rebel and some foul language has to be used but I would like to see that language toned down a bit. Anyways, 'Love Me Dead' is an engrossing crime mystery thriller that is a worthy read.
Thank you NetGalley and the people responsible for allowing me to read and review this book. I am looking forward to reading 'LoveKills' (Lilah Love #4)

This is by far one of my favourite series for a few years now and each book brings us more and more closer to the truth but also adds more questions. Questions that will definitely have answers in the next books.
I love Lilah and Kane, their game of cat and mouse is addictive and their chemistry is so off the page.

Thank you to Net Galley and the Publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book. Oh my goodness - can one love Lilah Love anymore and her ex lover Kane? Lilah takes nothing from anyone she is amazingly beautiful and badass all rolled into one and Kane well they are a perfect match. Love love, love these books. Great suspense writing from this author.

I am not good about reading books in order. However this author likes cliffhangers. The books need to be read in order. This book continues the story of Lilah and Kane's relationship. The location is now New York, closer to her family. It feels like she is more of a puppet than in the prior book. Her boss, Kane and the killer is pulling her to do their bidding. She is less in control than the prior book. I kept waiting for her to snap back to herself but feel it just fell short of that. A good story but not as good as the prior book.

Here we go again running full tilt out of the gate! Lilah is again stalked by a serial killer determined to make her play his game. This time the killer is using family against each other to accomplish his twisted goal. Lilah sees the Umbrella Man in everyone she meets and is racing to discover his identity before he strikes again. I feel like this one has more action than the first two, which I really enjoy. I am again left dangling off the cliffhanger & left screaming NOOOOO when it ends. I need the next book.

Lilah Love is back in a story that is as fast paced as it is sensual.
The best way to read this book is to make sure that you have the entire released series at your fingertips before you even begin. Don't focus on where one book ends (think of them as 'part 1' 'part 2' etc), just flow from one straight on to the next. That's the best way to get a cohesive story arc and avoid the empty feeling that comes from having no growth and no resolution.

Still, it's 3 stars because it's engaging and compelling - I read the first 4 all within a week, and if they were poorly written I would have abandoned the series.
Having a female protagonist that hasn't completely given up her identity/femininity in order to be in law enforcement is refreshing. She makes it okay to wear designer boots, and use them to kick ass. Lilah being a woman also isn't the feature - she's just an FBI agent who does a bad ass job and happens to be female.

Overall, worth reading to keep the series goes.

Facts: Love Me Dead is book #3 of Lilah Love series by NY Times, and USA Today best-selling author Lisa Renee Jones. This book is the first in the next duet of the Lilah Love series, but it’s best if the series is read in order. The book is told from the heroine's point of view with a cliffhanger ending. Genres: Women Sleuths | Romantic Suspense. Tropes: Alpha hero | love triangle

With Love Me Dead, Lisa Renee Jones another heart pounding novel where Special Agent Lilah Love is racing against the clock to find the serial killer she’s dubbed “The Umbrella Man.”

Still working under her old boss in order to take down “The Society,” a group of powerful people determined to rule the world no matter the cost, Lilah has relocated to New York. But before she can continue with that quest, she must first solve the mystery behind the person who is murdering women and leaving clues specially for Lilah.

And now that she’s close to her not so ex-lover, Kane Mendez, he’s more determined than ever to protect her while convincing her that they belong together.

Lisa Renee Jones expertly pens a story with all the elements that make up a hooking read. An unapologetic, smart@ss heroine you can’t help but like and admire. An alpha anti-hero who is utterly devoted to the heroine. Explosive chemistry and a deep connection between the two. Appealing secondary characters that add much necessary comedic relief and move the plot along, and of course a well thought out and developed plot that’s both exciting and hooking. I can’t wait to read more!

Love Me Dead is the third book in the Lilah Love series, noe that I've read the first two books it appears that they are being released in duets, with the storyline continuing but the cliffys only after the first book in each duet. Don't get me wrong you still are going to have a metric ton of unanswered questions, but that's because Lisa likes to torture us. If you've not read the first two books DO NOT READ further. I will mention things uncovered in the first two books. You have been warned.

Lilah has joined a task force for the FBI that is focusing on solving cold cases while surreptitiously trying to uncover more on The Society. Of course, she's doesn't have a chance to start on that when she's pulled into an active murder case in New York. She's also stopped fighting her inevitable pull towards Kane. Come on the FBI agent and the possible leader of a drug cartel, nothing to see here, move along. So Lilah find herself in a cat and mouse game with a killer whose potentially very close to her. And she's learning to continue to question everything.

This story totally sucked me in at page one and didn't let go! Lilah is tough, hard, a total bitch and I love her! This book is suspenseful, full of mystery, fast paced and oh so good! The ending......OMG! I need the next book now!

Lordy, mercy - where do I even begin? This is the 3rd book in the Lilah series and it is a doozy. Lilah has moved to Manhattan to take a new job under Murphy, but now in the east coast precinct. She remains just as badass as ever, but now with a new group of people. Her brother, father, etc. are hardly mentioned in this book - it centers around Lilah working cases in NYC of murdered females by a mysterious Umbrella Man. Kane is frequently by her side - but when he isn't able to be there, he has one of his men watching and protecting Lilah.

Lilah still doesn't know who Junior is and she only hears from him once during this book. But now she also is trying to figure out who Umbrella Man is - could it be the same person as Junior? And she isn't any closer to discovering who is dirty vs who can be trusted in this book.

Come on book #4 - I'm ready for some answers. :)

I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

Lilah and Kane get back together and start back to where they were. As they both start trusting more, another killer is coming for Lilah. She is trying to figure out who it is and how she's involve. This goes beyond just a killer but she needs proof. The cliffhanger is stunning and can't wait for read the continuation.

Another cliffhanger...but at least I knew going into it that books 3 and 4 were a duet and I have book 4 on my Kindle ready to read.

This Umbrella Man killer keeps you on the edge of your seat. I have no idea who the killer is and I'm dying to learn in book 4.

Kane and Lilah continue to have the weirdest relationship ever.

This series definitely has me returning for more even though no hate being left hanging...

I received an advanced copy of this book through NetGalley. This is my honest review.
