I really enjoyed listening to this digital audiobook. I’m not sure it would help me fall sleep as the stories were interesting and the narrator’s voice is animated and enjoyable. It is relaxing to listen too and I did find it entertaining. |
Facts are not bedtime stories. I’m sorry I had to say this. If the book tries to put children to sleep with boring information, then the books great. I hoped to find a story that had facts in it and that would be educative and fun at the same time, not facts that are just presented. This book has the wrong title and it’s miss understood |

I received an advanced copy of this audiobook, from the publisher through netgalley, in exchange for an honest review. This book is well written and the characters are described well. I absolutely enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The narrators did a great job reading this book. The author did a great job writing this book. The pacing of each story is great. It keeps your attention from the first minute. I would recommend listening to this audiobook to anyone and everyone. This audiobook is in stores now for $12.99 (USD). |

This is an excellent audiobook for children containing nonfiction bedtime stories. There are thirty 5-minute stories included. The narrator presents these stories in an engaging but still calming voice. I recommend this for curious children who will learn a lot of fun facts about sleeping. There were even some facts that I didn't know. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to listen to this! All opinions are my own. |
This was a very interesting book, informative and entertaining. As the tag line suggests, the book covers 30 interesting stories related to bedtime. And the range is indeed quite vast, as the stories go from sleeping styles to types of beds to snores to nocturnal animals to cosmic objects to astronauts. Basically, anything and everything related to bedtime or night time has been included. This reduces any chance of monotony and keeps the children wondering about where the book will go next. The content of each story is straightforward and easy to understand. It works suitably for its target audience, children aged 4 to 8. As this is an encyclopaedic kind of book, I can’t help but feeling that some of the stories would have been better enjoyed if the book were read instead of heard. Topics such as sleeping styles or space-related facts are definitely more fun and better understood by children if visual. At the same time, the narrator does a wonderful job bringing the book to life. She reads the stories in an enthusiastic yet calming voice, something that will create the perfect ambience for little listeners before they nod off to dreamland. The sound effects such as bird calls and cosmic beats further enhance the audiobook experience. Each story is just 5 minutes long and will be the perfect pre-bedtime lullaby for your little one, leading to superior knowledge and sweeter dreams. |
