This was a nice interactive book for the little ones. Full of fun exercises and a nice reading practice too. I wish the illustrations were a bit more fun and distinctive. |
I read this book with my three year old daughter and she really enjoyed pointing out the different animals in the story, she is a massive fan of wildlife so it was a big hit with her. There are three stories in the book so we were able to enjoy the book over a few nights too which gave her something she really looked forward too at bedtime. The stories were well written, easy to follow and fun - and I loved that she was able to interact with the stories too so it was an educational read and that as a mum made it tick all the boxes I look for when purchasing a book for her. It is 5 stars from me for this one - we really enjoyed it - very highly recommended! |
Little Fox Playing in the Forest. Adventure not only for little fox but for your kiddos as well. This engaging book focuses on visual learning and reading. Your 2 or 3 year old can read along with key words replaced with pictures. There are 3 stories in this adventure and after each story there is a puzzle or game. With a combination of learning styles, your child will not even know they are learning. Makes learning fun and want to learn more. A Special Thank you to Clavis Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC and the opportunity to post an honest review. |
Cute little hands on book that’s followed the little fox. The forest friends were adorable to read about. My child enjoyed being able to find the “picture words” in the illustrations. |
What a fun read-a-long book! This is a great book to get everyone involved in the fun! It’s got great illustrations & it’s easy to follow along & it even has a few activities throughout! |
A recommended book for small children in need of developing their vocabulary, as well as their visual and short-term memory. The illustrations are lovely and my 5yo son loved it. It´s also recommended for using it as an English teaching book for the first grade. In addition, it can be a good lockdown activity book for children with love for animals and forest life in general. |
OH my, the illustrations in this book are adorable! Its a sweet little story as well as activity/interactive book. This book would be perfect for 3 and up. I do believe a child will stay engaged with this book easily. |

Several short stories about a fox and friends. There were some cute aspects. The stories are divided by little tasks to do between stories (count the animals, match the animals). It might be a little more advanced for the recommended age. |
This interactive delightful board book is perfect for toddlership ( I think I just made up that word ) and beyond. It offers a fun engaging way to learn new vocabulary. The mission of the book is to focus on language development. A fun aspect is that pictographs are inserted throughout so little ones can help "read" along too. The book consists of three simple stories that follow the adventures of Little Fox. The stories include Little Fox trying to find a comfy place to sleep, helping Rabbit think of a birthday present for his friend hog, and saving Squirrel from the danger of a deep puddle. At the end of each story the author has added a matching or labeling activity to keep the readers involved. The illustrations are very well done. They are colourful, busy and the animals depicted are adorable. The amazing detail will be a hit with that targeted age group. This book will definitely be a great book for beginning readers. I highly recommend it. |
My son loved this book. It is a great book for a curios toddler. The illustrations are beautiful. Very colorful. The story was easy for my toddler to follow. There are a ton of chances in the book to teach your child about animals and nature. |
Little Fox, Playing in the Forest by Marja Baeten is a wonderful book for beginning readers. It contains three simple stories about Little Fox and his forest friends. The stories contain picture icons throughout which help preschoolers and early readers participate in reading the story. There are also little games and activities scattered throughout the book that children will enjoy completing as they read the stories. As a classroom teacher, this would be good to let young readers practice reading independently to help build confidence, learn new words, and help build fluency. |

This consists of three cute little stories about little fox and his friends’ first world problems. Each story has been told through cute little illustrations that are present instead of words. My little daughter has enjoyed these stories a lot. The best part in this was, after each story there are exercises or puzzles to keep kids involved in the stories and they were fun to solve. Overall, this is an amazing book for toddlers. |
A book filled with a few stories, look and finds, and matching activities. The stories have picture clues so even the earliest of readers can help read. Good for preschool! |

What a cute little board book! Inside are three stories. A little fox trying to find somewhere to sleep, a birthday party for a hog, and a story about a squirrel. Each story has pictograms to help figure out the word, which is a lovely educational tool. There are also mazes, questions, and games after each story. I think children and their families will love this board book! Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book for an honest review. |
This was such a great educational book for children! I love the artwork and colors. The little icons within the story with the word underneath is a great learning tool! There were a lot of fun little games throughout that I think children would really enjoy while also learning! |

A little fox that doesn't want to go to sleep, a party's preparations, and a scared squirrel - we actually get three tiny stories for tiny people in this short book. The pages are suitably bright and pictorial, the text comes in pictograms (so, for instance, if we can't pronounce "raindrops" we can see what is meant by the word), and each comes with suitable puzzles, questions and interactivity. A success, surely. |

This was a cute and fun book for young readers. I really like the drawing with the words underneath to help kids learn some vocabulary and sight words. I also like the interactive pages at the end of each short story. |
