This is a gentle and amusing book about families and hidden strengths.
The author writes simply but effectively showing how importent it is to understand that support networks can come in many shapes and not to underestimate their need to exist.
It is a love story or two or three with villains and winners in unexpected places, but all written in a very refined way. Including the sex scenes! Don't expect heat, but do expect bad behaviour.

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. Cute romcom. Highly recommend for a cozy weekend read.

I did not connect well with the two main male characters. Henning's behavior was repulsive with no likeable qualities! I just couldn't see Ford as having charisma (or a reason for depth of feeling, at times). One romantic encounter seemed out of place and vulgar. I did like the narrative of an improving family dynamic ... Conn even became charming. I could see this as an interesting screenplay. . .

Wonderful story development, rich characters, and a plot that hooks you and never lets you go. I love it when I can immerse myself within a book and just forget about real life for awhile and “become” a part of the story. This book totally delivered!

Thank you to Netgalley and Wild Rose Press for the opportunity to read and review this book. This book is one that I truly had no expectations going in (except I hoped we got an answer to why love is a filing cabinet). It had a lot more depth than I expected, it had some external and internal conflicts that made me scratch my head and it had alot involving family whether it was positive or negative. I enjoyed quite a bit of it. However, I think to me there was a bit too much involved and some of the conflicts could have gotten solved with some communication. Because of these points, I have to give this a 3 out of 5 stars.

This was an easy, quick read. Ok if you want to get away from everyday problems for a few hours. Did not entirely appeal to me for some reason, though it is well written and the characters are well narrated. Maybe the storyline is a bit too predictable, even though not in a bad way.

Thank you NetGalley and Wild Rose Press for this arc.

This was an easy, breezy read for me. Not quite a rom-com, as a couple of serious issues were skimmed over, but present just the same. But close. I found the main characters engaging (if a little one-note for most of the book), but they did show some growth by the end of the book. Yes, the plot was predictable, but I was kind of counting on that (these days, I find predictability comforting). Overall a pleasant read.

3.25 stars

The romance story of Minn and Ford. Tried a couple of times but struggled to get into the story. Bounced around a lot for my taste. Still interested to skim to the end though. Would recommend if you want young, ocd, and perky characters. Just may be me.

Do you want a book that takes your mind away from your daily issues? Then this is the Perfect Read!
Minn Evans is a OCD personality and loves to organize. Ford Hayes is a builder and creator and totally disorganized! Ford comes from a loving family who keeps in contact. Minn comes from a dysfunctional family that she would rather they stay in there neck of the woods and she in hers!
Ford needs a person like Minn , but will they only have a working relationship because of their miscommunication and her family?

This book for me was something I would recommend to a friend if they are in between heavy books. I just wanted a crazy, lighthearted book and yes this book needed to be made more believable, but that’s what gave it the zany upbeat storyline!

I received a free advanced copy from NetGalley and these are my willingly given thoughts and opinions.

I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley.

Minnesota Evans (Minn) is a super-organized person - she like order to her life. The book opens with her trying to get ready for a job interview, but her sister, Connecticut (Conn), had 'tornadoed' her closet and she has to find an outfit She finally makes it, late, and has a mishap catching the elevator.

Ford Hayes has his head in the clouds. He is the Art Director for a local TV station. He is in the elevator when Minn literally falls into his arms. Once they untangle, Minn is now really late for her job interview with the owner of the station. Ford comments how unorganized he is and Minn states she is an organizer.

The book chronicles what happens next. Minn's crazy family, Minn dating the owner, Ford dating Conn, and trying to get her job done.

I really enjoyed this book - Ms. Kern creates quite a story.

I was given a copy through NetGalley for my honest opinion.

It's a very interesting cast of characters to say the least. I want to be part of Ford's family so much, and my heart broke over Minn's and her family. (I think because I could relate a lot to her). The growth with these characters was interesting, with some twist a long the way. I was very happy with Conn's twist/ path within the story. I will defiantly be re reading this one, its a cute HEA.
