That was very cute - fun art style, lots of critters to look at, and I like how it allows kids to come up with their own stories.
Gopher Golf is a wordless children's picture book about two gophers playing golf, the places they visit, and the friends they meet. The object of the book is for youngsters to make up their own stories based upon the pictures in the book.
I actually like the concept of this book a lot as a have a five year old grandson who loves to make up stories. The illustrations are well done and would lend well to young imaginations.
I received a free copy of this book from BooksGoSocial via Netgalley. My review is voluntary
This wordless picture book was quite comical as two gophers try to golf. I think youngsters would enjoy telling the story based off the illustrations.
This is a cute book. I do wish it did come with some words. You can definitely play around with the scenes of the book but for me working with pre-school students it would be better if it did have words to read off. Overall very cute concept!
This was a fun way for my nephew to explore his creative brain. When spending time with him, we end up reading at least 30+ books so we're always in need of a new one. Seeing the pictures and coming up with his own story - the imagination of a 3-year-old is wild - was such a different way to read.
My preschooler and I cozied up for the reading of Gopher Golf, and within two pages we were belly laughing! This title brings all ages together with its smart artwork and silly storyline!
This was an adorable way to allow my son to tell me his own story! We really enjoyed it and will be looking into more books like this one!
Thank you to NetGalley for the e-ARC.
