I ran a small book club for a while and having these kits is so helpful! We did weekly discussions so I could definitely use some more ideas for questions for those discussions. Although I did thoroughly enjoy the behind the scenes with the author!

Very enjoyable read! I absolutely loved the idea of the Midnight Library and the librarian herself. So much so that I just had to reach out to my childhood librarian.. and now I work at a library!

Anyways, the idea of the Midnight Library and each of the books (no spoilers) is fantastic. I love the different avenues the main character takes. The main character was a bit annoying at times, I'm not sure exactly why I disliked her. She wasn't awful, just not enjoyable. I did like where she ended up in the end, it gave closure.

This is a must have kit for all your book club needs! Thought provoking, interesting discussion questions to help lead any book club featuring The Midnight Library novel. This is a great guide for everyone that needs a little guidance when leading a book club.

Book Club Kit: The Midnight Library by Matt Haig is a resource for interested book clubs in reading the popular 2020 novel. Comprising two sections, the first is a series of questions to generate a discussion of content and personal reflection on the novel. The second half is a conversation with Matt Haig, answering questions in regard to the book and revealing some interesting antidotes. The eight discussion starters are somewhat basic but appropriate enough, given the contents of the book. Though only a small novella, it is a helpful accompaniment with a three star rating. A few extra information and some questions to discuss - I have to admit, I somehow expected something more.

This book club kit includes 8 discussion questions and an interview with the author Matt Haig.

The questions mainly focus on self-reflection and trying to relate your life situations to the book. I thought some questions were a little too personal to be discussed in a book club. Questions can easily be answered or thought about by oneself.

The interview mainly talks about how the book came to be and how or why did the author make certain choices.

It was fun and engaging, the guides as well as the background of the book is very interesting. It helps me become more interested in reading the book itself

This is a brilliant resource for book clubs and general discussions about Nora's experiences in the Midnight Library, which I found to be a poignant read around mental health.

I especially enjoyed reading the interview with Matt Haig and learning about his own experiences with mental health and who he incorporates this into his works.

This is such a fun, engaging book club kit! I love reading interviews with authors, and hearing about what inspired them to write their novel. The included discussion questions are perfect for encouraging deeper exploration of the book's characters and themes, the kit is easily printable/accessible and I loved how Netgalley began including on their sites. Will definitely use in the near future with my very own book club.

I enjoyed this book, I read A LOT of reviews going into this book so I was unsure if I was going to love or hate this book (I feel like I never read a review in between) the description of the book immediately hooked me. This year I have been reading a lot of fantasy so based on this I wanted to see what the hype in 2020 was from.

I enjoyed reading about Nora in her different worlds based on the regrets she made. Each life was a new experience, but I did also feel like the ending was too wrapped up in a self help book. The way the book was written in short chapters is my favorite kind of reading where you just speed through the book. I would suggest this book to anyone that wants to read fantasy fiction.

I really enjoyed 'The Midnight Library' by Matt Haig. I enjoyed the fantasy of quite literally falling into a book and getting lost and finding oneself. A very poignant/philosophical read as Nora travels through different versions of her life while she struggles between life & death. A great book that stayed with me.

If you ever want a paper resource for your library, consider this one. It has some nice and insightful questions that make you think hard about the topics explored in this book.

This Book Club Kit is a must have for all book discussions, it is an easy tool to use and all the summaries and questions really help you understand the context of the book which is really helpful for people who read or struggled to finish the book, it gives you light at the end. Highly recommended for book clubs.
