The book is the second in a trilogy and I loved seeing the kids grow while facing dangers and trying to find each other.

In this second book, Trave is all grown up, King of Gadalla, and has children of his own. This story is a coming-of-age story for his daughter and son, in the midst of kingdoms, alliances, and treachery.


Both books are suitable for an upper elementary student, especially one who is enamored with kings or princesses!

this was a great book, I had enjoyed the previous entries in the series. The characters were what I wanted and the story was so much fun.
