Your average guilty pleasure read! Relatively likeable characters, and although yes the plot is cliche, it is cliche for a reason!! Definitely recommend for fans of these tropes

An arranged marriage, a plan for revenge and a lot of sexual tension

Chiara, a mafia princess on a quest to prove herself to her father.
Luca, a mafia heir plotting revenge for the death of his parents.
They both use each other for their own purposes, but feelings are bound to get in the way.

Did I like it? Sure.
Would I love it if it was longer? Absolutely.
I think it was a bit short which made everything really fast paced but it's a good book to read quickly.
The writing was great, you get the point of view from both Luca and Chiara. It really helps understanding their actions.

exchanged for my honesty. I found this book to be enjoyable. Truth be told I found it to be a little lacking, when you read mafia you expect domineering and underhanded dealings. We had underhanded but there was tithing to sinister here. Therefore I only gave it four stars. 
I mean the story flowed just not the way I’m used to for mafia books. The characters where as they should be a bad guy, a man and women who fall in love, and their eager families who want resolution. I think this could be even better if they took it back to the drawing board and changed some things. Maybe make it a bit longer and add some evil to it.

A strong and attractive man who asks out the Fiores' mafia princess' hand in marriage to get his revenge for his family's death but when he met her, he felt something strange. Would he be able to get his revenge accomplished? Or would he fail his mission because of some attraction he felt for her?

A smart woman who thinks that the mafia's rule about a woman is incapable of handling the mafia's business is completely ridiculous, was asked for her hand in marriage when she finally joined the family's business meeting. She is in-complete shocked that her family had agreed to marry her off to a stranger. Would she accept his proposal and fall for his trap? Or would she be able to turn the table back?

Honestly, this story was so good! The chemistry between the main characters is incredible and surprisingly, they have a lot in common. I absolutely love the progress of their relationship and how they take their time to get to know each other on their dates. One of my favorite things in the story was their sunset balloon date! It was stunning and lovely and I'm completely in awe of them.

The storyline is great and the plot twist left me so shocked. It's amazing how the characters are connected with each other. The spiciness of this story is just two couples in love with each other but I love it! It's very sexy but not spicy enough if you know what I mean. But what's lacking in this book is more of the mafia scenes, it didn't have much mafia things as much as I thought it would be. All in all, I still love the story so I congratulate the Author Anna Ray for the great work! I can't wait to read her other books as well!

I really enjoyed this book. Read it in one setting. Strong Mafia princess, strong mystery man trying to carry out their plans while fighting their attraction. Can they resist each other and achieve their goals.
