A Season of Change by Beth Wiseman is a wonderful addition to this series. I was given an ARC of this book by Zondervan Fiction through NetGalley and was not required to give a positive review.

Esther and Lizzie are elderly sisters who own The Peony Inn. We are introduced to Rose and Benjamin as we continue stories about old friends, Gus, Evelyn, Jayce, Amos, and Naomi.

Beth shows us through this story that it is never too late to be forgiven or to be forgiven. With this forgiveness, there is a way opened to learn to be able to accept and appreciate changes as we go through the seasons of our lives. You will laugh, cry and feel a thousand emotions as you read this book.

This is such a great story and Beth does an outstanding job of telling it. It is a 5-star read from the beginning unit the end. You really need to order yours today. You will not be able to put it down. The publication date is October 5, 2020.

Beautiful Story

There is so much I want to say about this book, but in doing so, I feel I’d give too much away. Let me just say that this story is beautiful! I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. Beth Wiseman has written a beautiful story. It’s sweet, sad, moving, inspirational, touching, funny, romantic, bittersweet, heart wrenching and so much more. I hope that all of those adjectives don't turn anyone away from reading this wonderful story. Instead I hope the description piques your interest and curiosity and drives you to read it as soon as you can.
A Season of Change is the last book in Beth Wiseman's Amish Inn Novels series. Although it can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend that you read the entire series. You’ll be so glad you did!

Wow! What a powerful story Beth Wiseman writes for a conclusion to the series and for her readers.

Two sisters who own an Inn love to play matchmaker. They have their hands full, not only with the couple they're trying to bring together, but also with the occupant that lives in one of the structures on their land. This time the occupant needs extra attention from the sisters and previously met characters.

The intertwining of light humor, seriousness, a tiny bit of mystery, and light romance made this book just right. Beth wrote an tremendous story that speaks to the heart of the reader. This charming third installment of the Amish Inn series is a picture of loss and healing in which forgiveness will prove to be the greatest act of love.

I look forward to reading the next book written by Beth Wiseman.

Lol I laughed and laughed until I cried throughout this book and then I really cried. Oh my!
I knew it! I knew it! I knew it was him!
I'm not saying who though. I guessed it from the beginning.
I do want to say that I'm happy that Rose finally got her own story and it was worth the wait! My heart really went out to her.
There's just times that I really wanted to smack Lizzie and other times I wanted to hug her. She's my favorite character because she isn't afraid or ashamed to show who she truly is inside and out. Wiseman made her just perfect. I wish I was more like Lizzie.
I loved this story and I did not want to say goodbye to all of my friends. These characters will always have a special place in my heart most especially Gus. Cantankerous old man. But, I have to admit that even though he was hard in getting to know I appreciated that he tries. Some people are like that.
I think Esther reminds me of my father in law the most. Mainly because of her role as peacekeeper in the family. She really had her job cut out for her. But, my admiration for her kept growing.
A truly delightful story with wonderful characters that will melt your heart immediately. You'll be thinking about them long after the story is over.

This is another installment in the story of Lizzie and Esther, the elderly innkeepers that like to play matchmaker. This time their focus is Rose, their assistant at the inn. All the old characters are around too, include Gus, the crotchety renter. This, as always, is an entertaining story. Beth Wiseman tells a funny and poignant tale each time and it's a delight to get the next installment.

This was a beautiful and sweet story that will make you laugh and cry at times.
The characters are relatable and it was great to see the relationship develop with Rose and Benjamin but also the difference between Gus and Esther.
Great author and great read!

I was so excited to check back in at the Peony Inn. I was welcomed back to the inn by the elderly sisters Esther and Lizzie. It was so good to see Rose who is still so chatty but there seems to be so much pain behind the chatter. Esther and Lizzie want to get back to their matchmaking and they have their eyes on Rose. They think that the newcomer to town, Ben, would be a good match for her since he is so shy, but will opposites attract? I wasn't sure if I would want to become reacquainted with Grumpy Gus, the elderly neighbor that lives in one of their cottages, but in this book he grows on the reader!

I really enjoyed going back to Esther and Lizzie's bed and breakfast again! This time it's Rose's chance at love with newcomer Benjamin. She's talkative and he's not...or is she? There are a few mysteries...like who sent Esther a bouquet of flowers. Esther and Lizzie are on a mission to find out who the secret admirer is or as Lizzie calls him "suspect number 1, suspect number 2 or suspect number 3". And also, where did Gus disappear to and what happened in Rose's past? Once again we get to see snippets of previous characters in this series which is always nice.

If you're in the mood for a sweet, clean Amish romance, you'll definitely enjoy this. It's best to start at the beginning of the series so you get the full scope of what's really going on in their lives.

Warning - this book will break your heart! For readers who have become attached to Lizzie, Esther, Gus, and Rose, a lot of changes are coming with this one...some are good, some are not so good, and it's bittersweet. Without spoiling too much, I can say that there are some misdirects, we find out a lot of Rose's backstory as she explores new relationships, and we learn some other surprising facts about our main characters. I look forward to seeing what comes next for the blossoming friendships...
