Admittedly I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy this book, However, I was hooked from the first page and had the book read in one sitting! Absolutely loved the dynamic of the main characters and the light romantic elements.

When two very different characters come together things could turn into fireworks. This is a good read but I wasn't keen on one of the characters but that person was needed in this story. That being said, this is still worth a read and I will give this 4 stars.

Thanks to Netgalley and publisher for this ARC

The New Beginnings Bridal Boutique: 3 ⭐

(Unpaid review: Thank you @netgalley, @kelliehailes and @oriondash for allowing me to read this eArc)

A good book to read when you need a pick me up.
I found it funny and entertaining, but felt like it needed a bit more context and a little bit more passion to the story. However, I enjoyed it a lot and enjoyed Cy and Paige fighting over who was the best at what. This book has a nice moral, it teaches us to look at love as it is and not as a word or a mechanical thing that only works the same way everytime.
The author really captured the essence of true love - me being a true romantic and all - and turned it into a really sweet love story, full of firsts.

I loved the idea of this book. A second hand bridal shop and a wedding planner. How can you go wrong with a story line like this? I hemmed and hawed over the review on this book, But I really need to be honest in my review - with that being said......

To me the story was a bit unbelievable . I didn't care for the characters at all. Paige the owner of the bridal shop was very bitter and did not believe in love at all. Maybe it had something to do with how many time her mother got married or that fact that many of the dress brought into her shop were from tearful brides where the wedding went wrong.

Cy the wedding planner I did not like his character at all. He seemed very arrogant and cocky. No matter how hard I tried I just could not like him.

Paige's mother reminded me very much of the character of Charlie's mom on 2 1/2 men. Flighty always getting married, demanding.

Everyone has different tastes when it comes to books and storylines. Maybe as the story developed the book got better, however I gave up on it and never did finish reading it. I love a good simple romance story that I find myself just smiling even if you know what is going to happen next, this book didn't give me that feeling.

Paige runs the Second Chances bridal shop and makes angel gowns. She has a big loving heart but marriage

isn't for her. After the death of her beloved father and her mothers four soon to be five subsequent weddings,

Paige has become extremely wary of the institution 0f marriage, Then she meets Cy, her mother's wedding

planner. Maybe Paige can trust a real relationship.. Maybe she just can't.

An emotional read filled with hope and compassion. The story asks many questions the couple must

ponder, testing feelings, and accepting each other.

This book was a really cute and fun read. It is perfect for the Beach or if you just want to escape. I am a fan of Hallmark Channel movies, and this book definitely has that vibe. If you are looking for a quick, cute, fun read - definitely check this one out.

I loved this book so much. First off, I loved the characters in this book. I really enjoyed how they grew throughout the book. I also really enjoyed the plot. The storyline was so unique, nothing like I have ever read before! I also really liked the cover of this book and how it related to the book. Overall, I loved this book and can not wait for Kellie Hailes next book!

The New Beginnings Bridal Boutique is a cute, predictable romance novel. The story is sweet between an owner of a second-hand bridal boutique and an out-of-town wedding planner, thrown together when the planner (Cy) is planning Paige’s (the shop owner) mothers fifth wedding. Paige is cynical about love, while Cy is a romantic. It is a classic opposites attract story. It is a sweet and enjoyable read. I finished it in just a couple of days!

I had high hopes for this books and loved the premise of it - a second hand wedding dress shop, a mother who is a serial-bride... it sounded great!
Unfortunately, i found it a little underdeveloped; I didn't get enough of an emotional attachment with the characters, didn't feel like Cy was an attractive personality... it felt unexplored and yet quite a slow plot. I found I wasn't bothered about reading on, which is unusual for a book of this genre!

It's an easy read, if not the most captivating - there's almost too many characters, too many back stories that it could be several smaller, meatier books.

I loved this book from start to finish.
Paige runs a second hand wedding dress shop as she believes everything can be recycled. However she doesn’t believe in love as it tends to break hearts. Her mother is a prime example onto her fourth wedding, paige is cynical to say the least. When a guy appears in her shop, immaculately even down to the laces on his shoes and she finds out he is her mother’s wedding planner. Paige has no idea, this is where the fun???? starts or does it.
Definitely a must read.

This book just gave me warm cozies!
Paige owns a second hand shop which also sells used/never worn wedding dresses. The dresses represent so many shattered dreams that she has no belief in happily ever after.
When her mother is being married, for the fourth time, she is a maid of honour, and meets the wedding planner. In a bit of a twist, he is the hopeless romantic and she is the jaded one.
Just a good story, well written with humour.
A super summer read.

Running a pre-loved bridal boutique might seem an unlikely job for someone as cynical as Paige but you can understand her cynicism given that her mother is planning her fourth wedding! When Paige meets her mother’s handsome, charming wedding planner she is determined not to fall for him but Cy is equally determined to break down her barriers.
This is a fun, uplifting story and you want everyone to find their happy ever after.

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

Paige owns a second-hand bridal boutique in a village of Alfriston. She’s witnessed far too many bring in wedding dresses with tears running down their faces which have meant that their wedding didn’t go to plan. That’s why she doesn’t believe in happy ever after.

Maybe that’s the reason why she’s not jumping with joy, as being maid of honour at her mother's wedding, her fourth wedding.

Cy, over the last few years, he’s built a wedding empire in London. Where he works with the rich and famous.

Whilst on a trip to visit his family, he’s takes on the planning of a wedding. But, what he didn’t expect was, to find love.

Can Cy find his happily ever after with Paige or has Paige got too many barriers for this to happen…..

The New Beginnings Bridal Boutique  is the tale of Cy who is a wedding planner and Paige who owns a 2nd hand wedding dress shop in Eastbourne. However Paige is not your typical romantic young girl she has been scared by her mother's five weddings  she it states "love wasn't something she wanted to consider" her mums experiences taught her that it was safer to stay away from love.
Cy on the other hand is the polar opposite.  He believes in "the one", which is just how he believes his parents love life played out.

Cy is Paiges mums wedding planner and somehow the both gets court up in bets that mean the two spend more and more time together. Such as who between Paige and Cy could pick the right dress out for Diane (Paiges mum), and that dictates if they go out on a date or not.

I believe this novel has the bare bones of a very good story it just needs padding out a lot more. The couple's relationship goes really fast and we learn nothing about their lives  apart from wedding information. Which in turn means the story is less believable.

However if your someone who loves a quick romantic read this could be for you.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for giving me a digital copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

Paige is cynical about romance despite owning a second hand bridal boutique. Cy is a workaholic wedding planner who does believe in a happy ever after.
Cy sets out to prove to Paige that romance does exist but discovers things aren't always what they seem
A nice easy read

Paige runs a second hand wedding dress boutique. The thought of helping brides choose the perfect dress for their day is what she lives for, even if she herself is a wedding cynic. So when her mum declares she is getting married again… for the fourth time Paige is unconvinced.

Then she meets Cy, her mum’s wedding planner. Can he convince her that romance does exist?

Another lovely summery read from Kellie. It has some interesting characters and I didn't warm to Cy in the beginning, but he grew on me in the end.

Such a delightful, heartwarming read. A story of hope, you can't help but believe in love.
Paige runs a second hand bridal boutique, giving dresses a second chance at a happily ever after. However, she's very cynical about love. Meeting Cy, himself not in a position to make a commitment he sees love in a much more romantic way, a connection develops. Can they both take a chance for a happily ever after? I loved these two characters, and the family dynamic was just perfect, all seeing love and life in very different ways. This was a perfect escape, I couldn't help but smile.
