This book was so good and I was glued to the pages to figure it all out. I loved how the book was broken down into different points of views and how it all comes together in the end. I highly recommend this book to any one who likes high pace thrillers and enjoy knowing what all the characters think.

I made it through most of the book thinking I knew who the bad guy was. And even when I suspected it wasn't them, I still didn't expect the twist of who it was Soooooo good. I had a great time from beginning to end.

I must firstly apologise for the amount of time it has taken me to provide a review of this book, my health was rather bad for quite some time, something that had me in hospital on numerous occasions and simply didnt leave me with the time I once had to do what I love most.

Unfortunately that does mean I have missed the archive date for many of these books, so It would feel unjust throwing any review together without being able to pay attention to each novel properly.

However, I am now back to reading as before and look forward to sharing my honest reviews as always going forward. I thank you f0r the patience and understanding throughout x

A gripping read that kept me on the edge of my seat. I was intrigued to see how the family's story could/would intersect with Logan's and there were some great twists to this end. Can't wait to read more from the author.

Upon initial inspection of The Family Across the Street by Nicole Trope, I made the mistake of assuming it was a slow-paced domestic fiction. However, I quickly learned the error of my ways and discovered that the book was a thrilling page-turner. Right from the very beginning Trope pulls the reader in and the story just gains momentum from there. That coupled with the diverse perspectives, including ex-con Logan's, kept me riveted. Trope skillfully builds suspense throughout the tale, culminating in an explosive and action-packed conclusion.

I thought Taryn Ryan did a great job as the audiobook narrator, but personally, I would have preferred a different narrator for each point of view to improve the story's flow. Nevertheless, I would definitely suggest the audiobook to anyone, and I would love to hear Ryan narrate other books. The Family Across the Street is packed with surprises, some predictable and some not, and it kept me completely engrossed! I highly recommend this gripping thriller and I am eagerly anticipating more from this author.

The Family Across the Street is a tense gripping book and I couldn't stop reading this one because it just kept getting better and ih so compelling. The book starts with a chapter that is very intriguing and hooks you right in. Along the way as you get to know the characters you're not quite sure who the anti-hero is. Across all chapters right till the end of the book I was so scared by Katherine and her family and rooted for her till the very end. The ending was a bit sad but I think it was also handled in the best way it could have been. This book feels like a classic Nicole Trope book in the sense that there's a perfect balance between suspense and drama. I would highly recommend this book for being captivating and a huge page turner! The characters were awesome and the plot felt unique! In the end everything tied in well together.

Thank you NetGalley, Nicole Trope and Bookouture for the arc!

As I've mentioned before, Nicole Trope is one of my favorite thrillers author.

This book was great in so many ways, and I found it rather interesting and told from a unique perspective. The story begins when neighbors in a community hear gunshots coming from one of the homes on the block. Then, the timeline resets and goes back eight hours before the shooting. As several neighbors go through their day, the book sets up the scene for what will become the tense moments before and after the shooting. The neighbors provide insight about what went wrong, and who is the family in danger.

This story was quite engaging, and I was truly invested in the well-being of the neighbors whose POVs become the prime accounts of what's happening at the scene of the crime. I found the neighbors likable, and their interactions were very relatable to what happens in a regular community. The book goes fast, and the quick pace provides an engaging reading from chapter to chapter. Each time a new POV is introduced, there a new emerging details that provide more insight into what really is happening inside the home of Jonh and Katerine West.

I found this book remarkable. It builds up the tension slowly but steadily, and when we find out who discharges the gun, the revelation is shocking. The plot of the book is amazing and provides the reader with a gripping story with amazing twists that keep the story engaging from beginning to end. A true masterpiece of a domestic thriller!

This book proves the point of, nothing everything is as it seems, and families hide a lot behind their front door. This was a great and gripping read, and I couldn't wait to see what secrets were hidden away. Recommended for anyone who loves a good and intelligently written read.

The story was quite exciting with the hostage situation happening in a quiet neighborhood. The author managed to pack wallops of thrill in this book. Some of the subplots brought together in the end didn't seem seamless and were quiet unbelievable. overall, the entire journey kept me entertained.

You know when you're reading a book and have to do a double take?? It happened in this book!!! I had to reread some parts because I was so taken off guard. This book felt like it was ripped straight from the headlines and I got an all inclusive backstage pass. The writing was terrific! It was gritty and intense. One of the best domestic psychological thrillers I've read!

Twisty. I wondered how everything was going to fit together. While I could guess part of it, I certainly hadn't unraveled everything. Quite the interesting twist at the end.

Thank you to Bookouture, NetGalley, and the author for an advanced reading copy.
