G.P. Putnam's Sons,
I love y'all!. I had so much fun reading this fiction story! I seriously couldn't get enough!
It is 4:37am and I just finished Delphine Jones Takes a Chance by Beth Morrey and loved every second of it!

This was one of those stories that honestly surprised me!

A single mother Delphine got pregnant at sixteen and her the only person in her small circle is her 11 year old daughter Em! Who is also her best friend!
They with her father who is a very complicated man.
She has always put others before herself since she was 16 so when a opportunity arises she jumps on it!
To finish school!
As she takes this chance she finds that her small circle is finally expanding.
She makes a couple friends and who knows maybe one of those friends could be something she has been missing in her life for so many years!

This isn't your typical romance story! It is so much more than that!
I seriously enjoyed every single one of these characters!
Fun, entertaining and some loud out loud moments!
An uplifting story, well told, themes of friendship and life!
This was my first Beth Morrey book and I can't wait to read more!

Thank you so much for this opportunity to read this eARC!

I will post to my platforms closer to pub date!

I loved the little shop where a lot of this book takes place. I liked that Delphine was helped and pushed to really discover who she wants to be. A lovely book about rediscovery.

Thanks NetGalley for this ARC!

Having truly loved Beth Morrey’s first novel, I was truly delighted to receive this ARC from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. DELPHINE JONES TAKES A CHANCE is a lovely second novel, filled with heart, love and loss, redemption and second chances.

This novel was an easy, heartfelt, enjoyable read- I rooted for Delphine and her dad, for Letty and Roz and Em and the whole line of well developed supporting characters. I would recommend this story for all, especially fans of Jojo Moyes and Beth O’Leary and the like. This was charming and inspiring - I’ll be watching out for Morrey’s future work!

Delphine, single mother of an ingenious daughter, has a depressing life until she loses her awful job. Doors seem to open for her and also that of her depressed father. Great characters, interesting adventures, and an all around enjoyable novel.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Beth Morrey has wow’ed once again! Delphine Jones Takes a Chance is a novel that completely warmed my heart! This novel centers around Delphine Jones, a single mom who has dedicated herself to being a great mom and daughter. Living with with her sweet tween daughter as well as her widowed father, Delphine always puts others first. As fate would have it, new opportunities come her way and Delphine finds herself at a crossroads. The question is will Delphine take the leap of fate!?!

I loved everything about this book! I was completely engrossed from start to finish! The storyline was well-paced, by the time I was 3/4 of the way through I knew I didn’t want this book to end! In saying that, my favorite part of this novel was the entire cast of character— so darn endearing! Delphine Jones Takes a Chance is a 5 star novel that I will absolutely be re-reading in the future! I truly cannot wait to read whatever Beth Morrey comes out with next!

What a sweet story about a single mom trying to find her way in the world. All the lovely characters she meets along her journey are so endearing. A good lesson that happiness is right there, even if your life takes turns that you weren’t planning. I would love to read more of these people!

This book is a charmer from start to finish. I fell in love with Delphine and all the quirky characters that are introduced in the novel. From her non-functioning father to her funny, genius daughter, everyone is developed and lovable. The author has a delightful way of making each character special and admirable.

I must admit to loving Letty, the curmudgeon who hires Delphine to speak to her in French. I felt empathy for her, raising a child as a struggling single mom. It is a cast of characters that delight the reader.

I must say Morrey has written a book that every woman will love and find something to relate to.

I was really enchanted by this tale and I highly recommend it.

Thank you Netgalley for this wonderful gift to read and review.
